Through the Vespers for 2024: Resa's PtW hopefuls

My number one hopeful for 2024.  My 2023 dreams were dashed but I still believe!  This is my go to girl power drama for the coming year.

10/23/24: Marcoooo. . . . Polooooo?  OMG where are you and why is it looking like you are going into a void.  I hope not but damnit . . . .

I loved the anime even though it made me sad in parts so I never got a chance to finish.  It has my girl Yang Mi in it so I'm excited.

OMG if this comes out in 2024 I can RIP in 2025 haha Just Kidding.  I love A Mortal's Journey to Immortality with Han Li.  Great story.  I just hope they can get all the goodness compacted into half the time.  We shall see.

Gotta have Wu Xie and the Iron Triangle each year.  

10/23/24 Update: I think i might watch this in Dec but will see.  I still am really looking forward to watching it but I have not been in a tomb raider/adventuring mood of late and also since this is kinda a final chapter, I want to be free of distractions to give it my all.

10/23/24 Update: i kicked this one to the curb but i have tried a few times to watch during sleep hours so it has progressed but we shall see if i finish it before year's end.

I love all the Judge Di stories so I am looking forward to this one.

10/23/24 Update: picked this back up around ep halfway in, i'm hoping to finish it if not this year then one day.

Started watching on release day.  This show is funny but also touches on the sad life of women who were widowed in in those times.  Hard lives and so unfair.  

Finished this one and it was worth the watch.

This drama was by far my favorite of the first half of 2024.  We will see if it endures for drama of the year for me.  Still it was filled with amazing scenes, acting, cutness, love, strength, and the ost was great.

I love the acting in this and FL character was amazing.  Just the ML character was so . . . .  definitely one you hope 2nd lead gets the girl.  But I'm not saying who did or didn't.  Was a good drama once you get past a very unlikeable ML (not the actor but the character).

One word - Waves.  That song is the one great thing about this drama.  I tried but of late I have been struggling to like K-historicals and this one i just dropped.  I love the actors just not the story.

This one I put on hold after ep 2 or 3.  I definitely want to finish it but I have to be in the right mood for medical related dramas and I'm just not this year.

I dropped it.  It had potential but did not like direction it was going for FL.  I understood the why it was going that way but i just did not care to spend time watching more.

Probably my most favorite K drama of the year especially one I actually finished with gusto.
