Favorite BLs

There is not a single aspect of the BL that I would not love to rave about. From the acting, to the chemistry, to the intriguing plot of the story; I am so very in love with this drama. The complete respect of boundaries and constant reassurances of emotions solidifies this Japanese BL as the sweetest piece of media I have ever consumed. The brilliant acting of Machida Keita, who played Kurosawa, and the sugar-sweet chemistry between him and Adachi brought this unique office romance to the top of my rankings. No matter your preference in shows, I highly recommend watching this drama.

I've never been so invested in a Thai BL's storyline like A Tale Thousand Stars. I honestly didn't care if there were any romantic moments between Tian and Phupha because the drama and suspense was enough to satisfy me (though, I'm still grateful for the fan service ;). The actor who played Tian, Mix, was absolutely incredible, and I was prepared to see him carry the show, but the other actors were great as well. If you're interested in a more plot heavy but emotionally impactful drama, I really recommend this BL.

Being the first Taiwanese BL I ever watched, I wasn't sure what to expect, but this drama really showed me what I was missing out on. The acting of Yu and Sam is unparalleled to most BLs, and their chemistry alone should sell you on this show. Although the actions of Gao ShiDe are questionable at times, his personality balances out the fierceness of Zhou Shu Yi and creates one of my favorite couples of all time.

I just want to start out by saying that I've never cried so many times for a man who uses a bidet as his personal pity-party shower. Gun is a flawless actor, and his chemistry with Off is off the charts. For being such a fun theme for a BL (by including the themes of different romance movies into the plot) this drama sure is a tear jerker. Normally BLs have very stunted acting and awkward pauses, but Theory of Love did an amazing job to avoid that. Additionally, the two best friends Bone and Two were hilarious to watch and added to the entire show.
