2021 Movies

Well, I watched a Christmas film in June. Anyway, it was quite warming for my soul. It is not the best film out there but it certainly did its job in the Christmas film department. I am rating this film an 8/10. The story itself reminds me of Love Actually and Valentine (or whatever the title is). And it was fairly well-done as a film can only be so long. I think I would have usually rated this film a 7.5/10 but I think if I would have watched the film in December, it would have been an 8/10, so I will stick with that. I can deffo recommend this one as a successful Christmas and romance film.

I really liked the plot of the film. The story was nice and the characters are well-written. I have to admit that I though that Ms Ding would be a cold business woman but I am glad that I was wrong. I love her. The CGI was a bit meh, but it didn't bother me that much. It was still a really really nice film that I can recommend to those who like action films about disasters. I also like how they gave credits to the rail soldiers in the past and how they built China and its infrastructure. Seeing the development from the 40s to current times was also impressive. All in all a well-done disaster film. A very much well-deserved 8/10.

I barely remember watching this film but I remember finding it fairly bad and fast-forwarding through it. I wouldn't recommend watching this one but I cannot give specific reasons as I barely remember it. I guess I should have dropped it.

It's an alright film. I think I expected something else and wasn't quite happy with what was delivered, but it is also alright. Interestingly enough it is based on real-life events. However, the film was quite slow and I couldn't really get into it. If you have read the comments on the film's page, many people loved it, so you should deffo give it a shot if you like the plot etc. But beware: it is a tearjerker for most.

I couldn't really get into this film. Usually, this type of film catches my attention and takes me on an enjoyable journey. However, "Mission 1: Possible" could not achieve that. I skipped quite a lot and didn't really care about the characters. The action was nice and that was about it for me. Nonetheless, I still give the film a 6/10 as it wasn't complete trash.

I absolutely love this film. I loved every second of it. And the ending was just.... wow! It is so fitting, left me awake but was still satisfying. It was my first time seeing Uhm Tae Goo acting and he was fantastic. His voice... goddamn! I could listen to him for the rest of my life. Kim Jae Yeon was also a great role that Yeo Been aced. If you like dark gritty films, deffo watch this one. It's a masterpiece! This is my favourite Kmovie!

I liked this film waaaay better than the first one. The action is great and I felt like this film had more depth. I was shipping Sato Yoko and Suzuki (obv got disappointed) - could see them having a spin-off (which they are obviously not getting). I can recommend this one. A bit slow in the start and infuriating at times, but recommendable.
