I dived into this show without any expectation. I was pleasantly surprised by how wonderful and heartwarming it was. I have never seen any of the two main leads' works before, but I was impressed by their acting. They portrayed the two adolescents learning about first loves quite perfectly.

Anyway, the story isn't really that fresh. But everything just came together from the actor's portrayal, the directing, cinematography, and writing created this harmony that ultimately made the show special.

Verdict is, I loved it. And will rewatch it. Again. And again.

The best youth drama which captures all emotions

This is one of the kind which gives us butterflies with the very cute and subtle moments between the leads... This drama is the best one because its simple yet intense. The drama has perfectly succeeded in delivering the intense feelings of friends, Love and parents. It doesn't sugarcoat the hard reality instead shows how by each step they overcome it by taking perfect decisions. The part from 15 to 19 seems a bit sad for the leads, but those moments are covered by the next remaining episodes. I personally felt 24 episode is quite short for this drama. What I loved the most is the initial episodes where the FL is very much determined and ML is as always the school s famous and intelligent guy. The way he takes care of her is beyond anything!!!! I can watch this a thousand times, I wish they had more episodes.. I specially love the leads and the their pair !!!!!

this is the best youth drama

Ding Xian and Zhou Siyue's Heartfelt Journey in a Captivating Coming-of-Age Romance

Ding Xian's character evolution from a seemingly directionless follower to someone with newfound purpose added a touching layer to the story. Her relationship with her mother, initially a source of exasperation, became a testament to the resilience of family bonds.

Zhou Siyue, the epitome of the perfect male lead, surprised me with his depth. The narrative skillfully navigated his character through the challenges of familial adversity, revealing a vulnerability that humanized him beyond his initial persona. This twist in his story made him not just a typical "ideal" male lead but a character with substance.

The coming-of-age theme was expertly woven into the fabric of the drama, capturing the essence of youthfulness, dreams, and growth. Chen Zheyuan's portrayal, undoubtedly a standout, brought a charming authenticity to the character, and Rainbow Xu's performance complemented the narrative beautifully.

As the story unfolded from deskmates and neighbors to lovers, the progression felt natural, allowing the audience to witness the genuine development of a heartfelt connection. Watching this drama ignited a desire for a connection as genuine and heartfelt as the one depicted, making it not just a show but a resonant experience that lingered in my thoughts.

an amazing and cute drama

Firstly, I have to say that my love for this drama is so huge. Ding Xian and Siyue are my comfort characters. They’re both so encouraging and supportive towards each other, showering each other with love and kindness. No matter what happen, trust Ding Xian to be there for Siyue and Siyue for Ding Xian. If that isn’t love, I’m not sure what is.

I really love the entire plot, even during the middle. It is not draggy or rushed which most dramas tend to make a mistake in. Yet, you get to see their stories in the different stages in life. Even though there were time skips, they were used nicely for us to move forward into the timeline.

Xu Mengjie and Chen Zheyuan are super adorable and portrayed the characters well. They are in their 20s yet I never questioned their ages in the drama when they were in high school. I like their chemistry together, Ding Xian and Siyue really were best friends and it was naturally shown by the casts.

The other casts also did well Wang Zexuan, Wang Yilan and Fan Zhixin!!! I honestly would want to see more of Kong Shadi and Song Ziqi though, they’re both so cute too. They grew up together and were by each other’s sides throughout their entire life, which is sweet really. Though they have different personalities, they are a really cute and somewhat compatible couple.

The OSTs are so goooood, I’ve been listening to it everyday ever since I started the drama. It is THAT good. They are also used very nicely throughout the drama to bring out the different emotions and mood of the drama!

This is definitely a drama I would rewatch when I’m down, as there are many quotes in this drama which is relatable. Not only do they comfort the characters, I also felt comforted through this drama, as if there are people who know my struggles and hardships and are cheering for me.

Do give this drama a try! Though its genre is romance, it is not a cliche nor predictable. It’s a light hearted drama which touches on relatable issues faced by high schoolers. I really love this drama so much and hope others will enjoy it too! ❤️

A MUST WATCH DRAMA!!!

I always get bored watching dramas that have so many episodes but this one is different. I managed to watch it fully in 3 days. The cast looks handsome and pretty, they act very well and the chemistry is so good!!.........................................................................................!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm so addicted to it!!!!!! I've been following their accounts in different platforms and is planning to watch their other dramas. I just hope that they would work again cause they really had a good chemistry!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dulzura del primer amor

He disfrutado muchísimo este drama, su fotografía, su ost, la manera con la cual nos narran esta historia del primer amor entre dos chicos de la preparatoria en un instituto chino. Sus protagonistas tienen gran química y te hacen sentir mariposas en el estómago tantísimas veces solo con una mirada, con un rozarse de las manos, con una sonrisa. Muchas series con escenas más explícitas no les llegan a la suela del zapato a estos dos jóvenes actores y su maravillosa química en escena. Muy recomendable para los amantes de las historias coming of age y los romances juveniles sin toxicidad y sin mucho angst.

VIVAN LOS SOFT BOYS!!!

vi los primeros dice episodios en una semana y los últimos doce los vi en dos dias. Es un drama muy ligero de ver en donde los problemas más grandes se resuelven rápidamente. Molesta un poco la actitud de ella de seguirle los pasos pero creo que se compensa cuando ella empieza a hacer cosas que ella ama.
lo que sí me molestó a niveles críticos y que casi me hacía dejar el drama era la actitud de la mamá y el hermano de la protagonista, la mala actitud de su mamá hacía ella (quizás por temas históricos) y el respaldo y justificación de las “travesuras” del hermano hacia ella me hicieron enojar bastante!
como siempre, el tema de la comunicación es uno importante aquí jajaja.

It captivated my heart and mind

Though its a simple school youth drama but it addressed a lot of issue each of us face during our high school days. The challenges we face, trying to know ourselves better, trying to be a better person, trying to become the child that your family would be proud of, trying to make friend and to fit it. So much to do in so little time. So blur yet we like to pretend that we have it together and we can do it!

I really see myself in some part this drama.
I especially love the FL, Xu mengjia. She did a wonderful job on Ding Xian. I love her smiles ,her timidity and courage that happens all at the same time always. She really warms my heart. No matter how big the challenge, she always master up the courage to take the first step to do what is within her capacity at that moment and slowly build herself closer towards her dreamed destination. I totally relate to this. It reminded me of my youthful days.

The ML did a good job too. Man usually have a difficult time trying to express their feelings but in this drama the ML is charming due to his confidence in knowing himself better, knowing what he is capable of and knowing what he wants. Setting his eyes on the prize. And he was sure he likes the FL a lot and never hesitate to show his concern and care.

I didn't remember how i came about watching this drama, i usually don't like to watch school youthful drama regardless of how high the rating is but i am very glad i watched this and i watched it twice back to back! This is my first watching a drama back to back from beginning to the end and still feel that its such a good watch.

There isn't too much kissing and cheesy scene like all the recent Cdrama that really is empty and not worth the time spend. I usually drop them after 2 to 3 ep cos its such a waste of time.

A big applause to the Producer and production team! The plot, script are not draggy or too hasty.

Really recommend you to watch it when you are feeling down or lonely. It will pick you up and warms your heart.

Wow drama

Guys if anyone thinking to watch or not just go ahead and watch tis drama, so cute and lovely story initially i didn't like ml character but later on lol he is so sweet and gentle to her and they both were so in love to give up their career but still a claps to their acting and yes side couples acting also good i thought i can see more about them but after 15 episodes scenes were less but anyhow the story about main keads good superb and authot who has written tis story should get an award and ml he has such a face lol i fell for him and fl oh my gosh she is so cute and the way she calls him by name hahaha i wonder how is she in real life but tis story is about career love and family more about the reality good make more such dramas thanks for the drama i enjoyed it
