Deaf x Little “Mafia” Type Boss
The show is about a deaf caretaker who wishes to have a job and a mafia boss who needs help recovering from an injury. to have no spoilers the show is very cute with a little bit of action. It has some angst and you will feel a little sad seeing some of these scenes, but in the end, it ends on a good note I would recommend the show to anybody who wants to branch out with different types of genres that haven’t really been used before. Love over Plot
This is a drama that was basically carried by shower scenes and Raiden Lin who played Yang Zi Xiang / "Sean smiles, mimics, sign language.... gazes... carefreeness well evrything Raiden Lin I guess.The plot was as carefree as Lin, it seemed to have a bit of a whatever will be will be... we throw in a little bit of this a little nit of that here and there, no need to wrap it up, handle anything or develop anything more than letting the leads look at each other, shower alone, shower together, remove clothing....
All while keeping some kind of wholesome message, love is love and the only thing the deaf can't do is hear... But who cares when you can see love... That part was done slightly cringe at times but otherwise pretty decently however I felt that our non deaf male lead conveyed emotions and sign way better than the one who had been deaf his whole life. Still the two had good chemstry and did a good job just that Raiden Lin seemes to be a much better actor than Yin Jun and the rest of the cast.
The family and friends in this drama are playful, sweet, loving and all round fun to watch.
A sweet romance, just mind some cringe and lack of meaning and consistency in the plot But considering all the good in htis really who needs a plot?

Cringe, Charm, and Chemistry
I stumbled upon See Your Love through Facebook reels, and watching it while waiting for another episode of a Thai BL turned out to be one of the better choices I’ve made this year. The series brought a refreshing yet nostalgic experience, managing to entertain without requiring too much emotional or intellectual investment.From the title, I initially assumed it might follow a similar vein to Last Twilight. However, it immediately set itself apart within the first few episodes by introducing its central conflict head-on. This decision was a smart move, allowing viewers to quickly grasp the stakes and emotionally invest in the characters.
Shao Peng, portrayed by Jin Yun, is a deaf and mute aspiring caregiver with layers of personal struggles. His character was both joyful and deeply scarred, and Jin Yun’s performance stood out. His ability to convey emotions, particularly in tear-jerking moments, was outstanding and added authenticity to the role.
On the other hand, Zi Xiang, a caged rich "spoiled brat" yearning for freedom, had a predictable arc. While his line delivery occasionally lacked variety, his emotional payoff moments were impactful. What caught my attention most about Zi Xiang were his expressive eyes, which carried much of the weight of his performance.
Together, Shao Peng and Zi Xiang formed a classic BL pairing: one wealthy but unloved, the other less privileged but surrounded by affection.
The plot, while typical, included enough (some) unique variations to keep it engaging. It offered a mix of expected tropes and subtle surprises, satisfying viewers looking for a blend of comfort and novelty. Although parts of the story veered into cringeworthy territory, the execution was raw and genuine, avoiding the artificial polish seen in many similar dramas.
The intimate scenes, often a point of contention in BL dramas, leaned into realism and sincerity. Instead of feeling overly choreographed or forced, these moments felt organic, adding to the chemistry between the characters.
The secondary couple was another highlight of the series. Their palpable sexual tension, especially Feng Jie’s irresistible allure, brought an entirely different dynamic to the show. Feng Jie’s charm and Xin Jia’s vulnerability created a captivating subplot that, for me, occasionally (somehow) overshadowed the main storyline.
Cinematography had its questionable moments, there were a few choices that seemed outdated for a 2024 release, but the effort was evident, and it didn’t detract too much from the overall experience. The music complemented the storytelling well, though it lacked the memorable impact of standout OSTs from other dramas, particularly Korean BLs.
Some scenes could have been handled with more emotional depth to create a stronger payoff. Additionally, certain plot elements, like the “I want to kill you” moment, felt unnecessary and outdated, pulling viewers out of an otherwise engaging narrative.
Finally, Shu He and Yu Nong seemed to harbor an unexplored dynamic that hinted at potential GL subtext. I would’ve loved to see that relationship developed further, as it could’ve added a fresh layer to the story.
Watching See Your Love in the beginning of 2025 didn’t disappoint. It’s an entertaining, feel-good drama that balances raw emotional moments with classic BL tropes. While not without its flaws, it stands as a solid addition to Taiwanese BL, and it’s reignited my interest in the genre after enjoying The On1y One.
Here’s hoping we see more from this cast and crew in the future!

Esse BL merece ser minha primeira resenha ♥️♥️♥️♥️Não esperava muito desse BL... Mas logo nos primeiros episódios a atuação dos protagonistas me pegou de jeito, em especial do ator Jin Yun
Que homem perfeito!! Ator de mão cheia!
A história inclui questões sobre a deficiência auditiva, construção de relação de confiança e um romance bem gostoso de assistir.
Apesar de alguns antagonistas não tão elaborados e algumas vezes sem muito nexo e profundidade na história, ainda vale muito a pena conferir!

A really sweet BL that gave me butterflies
Shaopeng and Zixiang have both been called “useless”, but for very different reasons. In the business world, Zixiang is seen as a good-for-nothing nepo baby. In the eyes of society, Shaopeng is regarded as abnormal.But what is ‘normal’? And why should we live our lives according to the expectations of others?
Hearing and listening are not the same thing. Not everyone can hear, but they can certainly listen. And they can certainly communicate meaningfully too, although in ways which may not be the same as others.
Social commentary aside, I enjoyed every minute of the romance between Shaopeng and Zixiang. They had me screaming, kicking my legs and replaying some scenes.
Even without spoken languages, the magic is in their gestures and how they look at each other. It’s how Shaopeng seizes every opportunity to kiss Zixiang (man goes all in), and how Zixiang tiptoes to bring his arms around Shaopeng’s neck (they have a very cute height difference haha).
As the both of them learn more about each other’s world, they find the courage to be their most authentic selves. And gradually, their universes expand to accommodate each other.

Looking for love cause wtf y'all...
A mute MC and a wealthy MC, you'd think this is worse, but, they love each other. Eww!!! I'm crying.I paused this a d had to wait for this storm to marinate just at the right temperature and devour it. And that I did, can we all agree you can't get the swoon unless you're really loved/in love. I kept swooning through the entire binge and munched EP after EP.
Outright wowed by the acting and the visuals of the actors too. Hands down for the second couple cause despite the less screen time, they managed to portray their little mishap-rendezvous affair and took it to the next level.(A possible spin off wouldn't hurt)
I recommend this for all the lovers and love stans out there. this should be a guide to romance.

Eine super schöne, von der Story her unerwartete BL Story
Ich habe eben die letzten Episoden geschaut und bin von der Story, den Schauspielern und allem drum herum begeistert.Anfangs dachte ich, dass es wieder eine der schon mehr als bekannten BL Serien ist. Gut aber ein bisschen oberflächlich.
Aber ich wurde eines besseren belehrt. Denn im Laufe der Serie wurde ein tieferes Level von Verständnis, Akzeptanz und Willen gezeigt. Beide Protagonisten akzeptieren den Gegenüber mit allen Ecken und Kanten, auch die Unvollkommenheit. Gerade in unserer derzeitigen Gesellschaft sind genau diese Eigenschaften kaum noch zu finden und auch wenn das Werk Fiktion ist, kennen wir alle diese Charaktereigenschaften und wünschen sie uns eigentlich für unseren Partner/in. Und eines finde ich total schön: jede Beziehung braucht Zeit zu wachsen. Und die wird von beiden Seiten gegeben. Es war schön zu sehen, wie beide voneinander profitiert haben und daran gewachsen sind. Schön auch zu sehen, dass das zwei Menschen aus wirklich gegensätzlicheren Schichten kommend sind, die darauf unterm Strich keinen Wert legen. Und auch, dass einige Familien mit der Situation gut umgehen können.
Ich werde diese Serie bestimmt noch ein 2. und auch ein 3. Mal sehen, ich liebe sie...
Das Einzige, was ich traurig fand war, dass es nur diesen einen Song gab. Der ist wunderschön, keine Frage. Aber ich hätte mich über 2, 3 oder 4 verschiedene Songs sehr gefreut. Da hat Taiwan so schöne Lieder :-)

A Somber Romance with Excellent Storytelling

Not Bad!
Okay so at first I was getting scared, I thought to myself “Oh god it’s gonna be bad” because it started off very slow, there wasn’t anything eye catching for me or anything that kept me wanting to watch more but I still gave it a try and continued cause I thought the story could be cute. Thankfully I was patient and continued watching, and it was worth it. The story got better, things escalated, we got shown more emotion, more chemistry, more drama, more action. The part that did it for me, and it just made me go “wow” was when in Episode 9 Jian Shao Peng’s mom collapsed and he was crying in the hospital while explaining how frustrated he is to Yang Zi Xiang, he showed the emotion of helplessness, sadness, anger and frustration so well in a couple seconds, literally amazing acting god. After that the story was very in the middle, we got some action but also cute moments or plain moments. I won’t say this is the best BL show ever, or the best Taiwanese BL show, obviously it lacks a bit, but it wasn’t bad either. I would fix a couple things or add/remove a couple things. I really liked the representation towards people who can’t hear, I really love shows who do that. But I feel like it was a bit over dramatic in some areas and also it felt like the background story of the characters had some holes mainly Yan Zi Xiang’s, I’m the type to not like super long background stories to the point I know every single detail ever, but I feel like for this one it was a bit necessary for some parts. unexpectedly good!
I didn't expect to like this one so much, but I loved it! I binged all 13 episodes in one sitting and didn't even notice the time go by.It starts out a bit silly and there's a lot of cliché moments, silly antagonist, some uneven pacing of the story and I don't know if I just missed the explanation or it just wasn't clear enough, but I never understood why Shu He lives with Shao peng's family.
Putting those minor details aside it's such a fun watch, It's cute, wholesome, funny, touches on some realistic issues and deals with disabilities in a very respectful way.
The chemistry between the leads is absolutely perfect and the second couple is hilarious seriously I couldn't get enough of them. I might be overrating this one with a 9 out of 10 but I had so much fun watching that I just can't rate it any lower.
