Home Sweet Home
I placed spoilers at the end of this review. Here is my usual warning that I am a sucker for series with a paranormal/strange element to it. This was a fun series. The first few episodes were a little rough around the edges, but the following episodes get better. Overall, the script was funny and heartwarming. I really liked the mini storylines involving the guest roles. The script also did a great job tying all of the various storylines together. Three out of the four main characters started off a little annoying and/or unlikable. However, the script did a great job explaining reasonings behind their behaviors as the series progresses which made them more likable. My only minor complaint is that I was able to guess some of the plot twists beforehand. As for the entire cast, they were amazing and did an incredible job with their characters. The cinematography and special effects were also amazing.
Random Notes:
The closing credit scene showed various stages of the team’s relationship development was very cool. I normally don’t watch closing credits, but found myself doing so because of this.
The saying on the neon sign with the burned-out letters was hilarious.
Home’s condo in America is the same one used in the series “Wandee Goodday”, “Only Boo”, “My School President”, and “Good Old Days”.
The smaller globe next to the one Home was staring at in episode 8 was the same one used in the series “Be my Favorite”.
******Spoiler Alert******
The beginning of the first episode threw me off because I didn’t realize that Home was in America. They could have incorporated some other hints to this other than the news. It did not help that I recognized the place from other GMMTV series.

GMMTV and TayNew has don it again!
I just started this series on a whim, and honestly, I am glad that I did. It had me coming back every week because I wanted to know what will happen. Might I say, that I actually enjoyed this series more than their last project (and that's saying a lot for me as I totally loved and adored 'Cherry Magic.' I believe that seeing this was an original work and I did not know what was going to happen made this series have a special place in my heart. All of the actors did a stellar job—from the main actors to supporting actors and even actors who guest starred in a few of the episodes—all of them were excellent. They were able to get from me emotions from laughing, (a wee bit) scared, and even sad. I must also add that I honestly thought that about halfway through this series, it would have lost some steam because I thought at the time that they had discovered the big plot point for this series. but, no! This was not the case, as it still powered on, carrying me on a journey that I totally did not expect to occur.
I don't want to give away any of the plot, because that's just how good it was that I want people who have not watched this series to go now and watch it. I really recommend this series to you guys out there and (hopefully ) you guys enjoy it as much as I did.

I wish I could give this 100/10
My only complaint about this show is that 12 episodes is too few 😭 บ้านหลอน is a MASTERPIECE. EVERYTHING about it was well executed. Casting and acting, script, music, sets, colorgrading, camera angles, pacing of storytelling... EVERYTHING. Everyone from those who've been around from beginning to end, to those who joined the chaos for only one episode, did an incredible job of assembling what imo is the best non-romance series that GMMTV has ever released. This show is a masterclass in doing it *right*. PERFECTION.And those who say this is "queerbaiting" have been inflating the meaning of the word. Even as a Polca I was able to watch this without attaching any romantic context to Home and Peach. Tay and New were given the challenge to act opposite each other in a non-romantic context, and they truly delivered. (Pang and her 🫢🤳-ing notwithstanding 🤣🤣🤣) Like P'Dome himself said, their chemistry is just /insane/ ("through the ROOF!"), and so it becomes easy to read non-platonic insinuations between their characters, but I personally was able to put aside PeteKao (despite, yknow, Pete พีท and Peach พีช sounding almost the same when pronounced in Thai) and KaranAchi to see Home and Peach. Tay and New are talented actors on their own and they shine so brilliantly when put together.

A funny good (slightly thrilling) show
I just loved everything about this series!First of all, I'm someone who crave for spooky / horror / mystery with comical elements in a story and adding to all of this, some lovely and heartwarming moments. So, Peaceful property did all of this, even the touching / sad moments.
Honestly, I was quite reluctant towards Home's character but later on, it grows on me, I mean, I've finally appreciated this interesting and lovely character. I also love all of the cast, especially the gang, including Home, Peach, Pang Pang and Kan (oh and P' Suradech haha). I don't think other actors would portray those characters so well as Tay, New, Mook and Jan. The one who picked them, need a really good raise! It makes me laugh because someone in MDL said this gang reminds them of Scooby doo gang and I have to agree with them, except they don't have a dog..!
I loved every episodes (is that possible??), I was so invested and got taken aback by the turn of events, it really catched my attention from the begining to the end.
It might have some (minor) flaws in terms of the plot but in my eyes, as long as I enjoyed more and that it made me forget about it (I didn't really mind it) then it's still a really good serie that I would to recommend.
For the horror part, it's not that scary but sometimes the make up is still scary / creepy haha and I love some details in terms of the cinematography, I really like the colors they used, for the effects, for everything lol
Lastly, I would like to add that it also feel personal, I mean I feel like the director and / or screenwriters leave a personal message / touch behind it. Maybe it's my impression. Not only the funny side that they want to show but also, it's more than this. That's why, I love more this show because it's relatable and familiar.
I would do a rewatch for sure (I may already start it with some scenes lol)

TAYNEW DID IT AGAIN!!
So, I went into this knowing it wasn’t a BL (boo, hiss), and honestly, the Polca in me was like, “Sis, maybe skip this one. You’re just setting yourself up for disappointment.” BUT, I ignored her, gave it a shot, and LET ME TELL YOU—this series blew my expectations OUT OF THE WATER. I’m not even kidding; I’m giving it a solid 10/10, and you’ll understand why in a sec.Home & Peach: Opposites Attract, But Make It Friendly
First of all, let’s start with Home (played by New). This man is the definition of a spoiled brat. Like, he legit thinks money can solve anything. He’s all, “Oh, your property’s haunted? Here’s some cash. Problem solved, right?” Sir, this is not capitalism; this is GHOSTS. But somehow, New makes Home lovable. He’s bratty, but in that “ugh, fine, I’ll forgive you because you’re kinda cute” way.
Then there’s Peach (played by Tay), who’s Home’s complete opposite. Peach is soft, sensitive, and honestly, a walking ball of nerves. Like, this man is one ghost sighting away from a breakdown at all times. And yet, he’s out here helping Home sell haunted properties because—get this—he can SEE GHOSTS. Yup, our man is a supernatural empath, casually solving ghost problems while Home stomps around like, “Why are these spirits ruining my vibe?”
Their dynamic? ICONIC. It’s giving “grumpy rich boy meets cinnamon roll with trauma,” and I ate it up like my last meal.
The Plot: Layers Upon Layers of Mystery
Okay, so the premise is simple at first: Home needs to sell these haunted properties, and Peach is like, “Cool, I’ll help because I can see ghosts.” But the way the story builds? CHEF’S KISS. Each episode has its own mini ghost story, and they’re all tied to the haunted properties Home is trying to sell. And these aren’t your average “ooh spooky shadow in the corner” ghosts; these spirits have deep backstories, emotional trauma, and unfinished business.
BUT WAIT—there’s more. As they help these ghosts find closure (yes, King, therapy for the afterlife!), the show starts peeling back the layers of the bigger mystery: Home’s grandpa’s death and why Peach can even see ghosts in the first place. The way the plot weaves all these elements together? PERFECTION.
PangPang: The Ultimate Bestie Energy
Can we take a moment to talk about PangPang (played by Jan), aka Peach’s younger sister? THIS GIRL. She’s the unsung hero of the series. PangPang is out here being the supportive sibling we all need in our lives. She’s constantly pushing Peach to speak up, take risks, and live without regrets.
Her energy? 10/10. Her comedic timing? IMMACULATE. Honestly, PangPang deserves her own spin-off. I’d watch it in a heartbeat.
ForceBook: Prepare Your Tissues
Okay, I NEED to dedicate an entire section to the ForceBook episode because OMG. I went in expecting their usual goofy, chaotic energy. You know, classic ForceBook vibes. BUT NO. These two decided to rip my heart out and stomp on it instead.
The storyline? Pure pain. Their characters are dealing with love that’s considered “wrong” in the eyes of society, and it’s handled with so much raw emotion. Force is out here acting his heart out, and Book? That man was SOBBING. I’ve never seen him cry like this before, and it BROKE ME. I was legit ugly crying for a solid 10 minutes.
The way they portrayed the pain of loving someone when the world tells you it’s not okay? ICONIC. And the twist about Vicha (Book’s character) not being able to cross over because of his suicide? DEVASTATING. But when he finally gets his closure, the dance scene shifts, symbolizing his acceptance, and I LOST IT. Beautifully done.
Home x Peach: BL Tease or Nah?
Now, let’s talk about Episode 11. Was the director teasing us? Because there’s this one scene where Peach thinks Home is hitting on him, and I was like, “Wait, is this happening? Is this BL-lite?” But then Home, being the clueless rich boy he is, immediately kills the vibe, and the moment disappears faster than my paycheck on payday.
BUT STILL. The tension was THERE. It felt like the director was testing the waters, seeing how the audience would react to a potential BL plotline. And you know what? I’m here for it. Gimme that spin-off, GMMTV.
The Cast: Almost Perfect
The casting for this show? SPOT ON. New and Tay were born for these roles, and their chemistry was on fire. Jan SLAYED as PangPang, and even the side characters brought their A-game.
The only weak spot? Foei. Ugh, why was he even here? His scenes were a whole vibe-killer, and I could’ve done without him entirely.
Final Thoughts
This series? It’s giving comedy, it’s giving drama, it’s giving emotional healing with a side of ghosts. I laughed, I cried, I screamed at my screen. It’s not a BL, but it’s got enough heart and chemistry to keep even the Polcas satisfied.
Rating: 10/10. A must-watch, even if you’re not into ghost stories. Would I rewatch it? Nah, because I’m not about that rewatch life, but it’s 100% worth your time.

To B(L) or not to B(L), that is the question
Peaceful Property is honestly the best BL that GMMTV has produced this year... and it isn't even a BL.I genuinely thought this was an enemies-to-lovers slow burn for 3 complete episodes. Mind you, it wasn't anything revealed onscreen that brought the reality of the show to life for me; it was the comments section that made me aware that this wasn't a BL series. Speaking of the comments section, I thought it was interesting: some try-hard spectators were being anti and uppity about viewing this show through a romantic or queer lens, seeing as it's labeled as a bromance. But there's some consistently purposeful romantic implications that were intensified by TayNew's chemistry, which has never been better. Insisting that this series should only be viewed as a friendship and nothing more is truly a disservice to both the writing and acting. TayNew are giving prime performances in this series, along with Mook and Jan.
Not only is the core four cast radiating pure chemistry onscreen but even the guest stars gave us amazing performances. Namely, Book and Force, whom both give the most emotional performances that I've seen from guests on a GMMTV series. Every person involved knew that they were working on something amazing, and it shows. This series has some of the best production value from a GMMTV series yet.
The only issues that I have, if I were to be nitpicky, is that the music isn't extremely memorable or expansive. It's nothing worth complaining about but there just isn't much variety, if I'm being honest. I also have to admit that I called the big twist of the finale from the very first episode, and I'm certain most other viewers did as well. Also, I'd be lying if I didn't say that I felt slighted by the lack of a PeachHome endgame at the end, or at the very least, a heavier romantic implication. I know it's a bromance but if this series was written the exact same way but produced with Western sensibilities, there would have surely been a heavily implied romance at the end, if not explicitly romantic. GMMTV (and Eastern media) continues to be tied down by genre and pairings... but I digress. Nothing that I hold against this series is worth passing on it. It's phenomenal and one of the first in a while that I highly recommend.

It's a good show but, It's overrated
How much you like and actor shouldn't be the reason you give their work high ratings. This is my opinion and it's perfectly Okay to disagree. This show is not as good as people a claiming it is. It really isn't funny not one bit (Except for that one Mjolnir joke, that one still makes me chuckle) It's not scary either, but that's expected, it's available for free on YouTube. I'm not going to go into much detail because I don't want to be too negative, just because I didn't like certain things it doesn't mean it's bad it's just that it's not as good as the ratings may lead tou to think it is.
Yes it has heart touching stories, Episodes 4,7 and 8 being the best, But the first 3 episodes at least for me were so bad I almost dropped this and the only reason I didn't was because I love Tay, New and Jan so much. I was going to drop halfway through episode 2 but was encouraged to continue by 4 different people on here and I am so happy that were really nice about it and made me curious enough to continue. My favorite part has to be the ending credits, starting at episode 3 or 4 the credits show how their friendship is evolving and it's so wholesome, I loved that.
This is a good show as I said, but let's be honest If it started unknown actors would you really had rated it so highly??
I would recommend this show but with the warning to keep expectations low and bare with the bad comedy because it's a cute show.

A little scary, a lot of wholesome entertainment
Veteran stars Tay and New continue to deliver spectacular chemistry. Their chemistry was so good that some scenes left me questioning whether the series was hinting at something more than a friendship. But no, it’s just a very compelling bromance. Even though Peaceful Property isn’t a BL, it doesn’t have to be.
But be warned – I couldn’t watch this series after sunset. The first few episodes took some getting used to because the ghosts were just so scary!
I only put up with the scaries because the storyline proved to be sufficiently compelling. And also, I love TayNew (more on that later). While the ghosthunting format for Peaceful Property is somewhat predictable, the series actually had several unpredictable twists. Overall, the series was also really entertaining and well-done. It strikes a good balance between humour, drama, horror and romance and explores what a ‘home’ means for the different characters.

Overall bagus banget!

It Feel Like Home
This is such a wonderfully refreshing series to watch. Just sit back and enjoy. No need to think. Just relax. Yet, it tells a story of such fortitude that is so subtle that it might be missed. But it is there, nonetheless. It is also not in any way a BL. Nor is it even a bromance. By contrast, it is a story of friendship and family. It is a nice change of pace to watch a series where it is just pure fun to watch. There is no hint of any romance in this series except in a playful manner and bantering about. All of the series connections were with the ‘ghosts’. So go ahead, sit down and treat yourself to being completely entertained and laugh more than once with and at these characters. It is that kind of a series!Considerați utilă această recenzie?

For the soft hearted ones: A good Horror
Many reviews say that the drama is TayNew magic, and it is right to the 'T'. This drama is a wholesome one, offering you to get close with the characters and join them in their adventure. Some points that I liked-1. Guest appearances of many actors🤩
2. P'Tay's character- the reason why I say is, though the plot is about ghosts and they do look scary enough to haunt you in your dreams (yes, everything is scary in the dream, however stupid it seems after you wake up), everytime he screams is a direct expression of the viewer, and suddenly the ghosts are not scary, because the character is equally scared of the ghosts.
3. A plot where the ghost-seeing character is shown on a journey of accepting and working on his ability, in contrast to many others where the journey is shown only as a backstory.
4. Many obvious questions are answered, not leaving you to find them on your own. For e.g: Why are all the properties haunted?
5. The bond of the main characters- it is lovely familial bond they develop, making you feel at home.
6. All the characters are sweet and have a character growth.
For me, this would count as another go-to drama, if I really want to watch something of horror genre, but not really horror due to P'Tay and P'new.🥰

A Rollercoaster Of Emotions
Peaceful property is a horror comedy series(not exactly) about Kan, Home, Peach and Pangpang who work together in a ghost hunting company. Now onto the actual review! As usual, I will go over the four main characters and then the conclusion.(Contains spoilers)
Rating - 9/10
Kan - She is Home's personal lawyer/assistant. She is portrayed as not being affectionate with her friends at first but we soon realise she also loves her friends as much as they love her. She had a villian arc in the middle but it endeed up bringing the gang even closer and we love to see it
Home - Home is the grandson of a real estate mogul and he inherits all the wealth, he wants to sell all of the property and that is how the ghost hunting company is founded. He is shown as a carefree spoiled rich brat but deep down he is a absolute sweetie. He ends up being betrayed by people he trusted but atleast he still has his friends by his side.
Peach - Peach is a cook who can see ghosts. He was a scaredy cat at first but he gets over his fear of ghost. we love to see charater development. Peach ends up being the mastermind who gets rid of the ghosts. I loved seeing Peach and Home's love hate friendship!!
Pangpang - Pangpang is Tay's younger sister, she is a content creator. She is the PR manager of the company. She was the balance the group needed. She was a fun sport along with Home, I loved seeing them being goofy with each other.
This series was a roller coaster of emotions, there is plot twist in literally every episode there is never a dull moment and I ended up crying almost every episode so I highly recommend you watch this series
