Sorry dropping this...
Been seeing mixed reviews and I am one of those who isn't into it.Wanted to see Moon Sang Min after Queen's Umbrella. But, his dramas after weren't to my liking. For me, the chemistry with the FLs just wasn't there.
He can do well in these type of roles but the FL here was so one-dimensional. From facial expressions to her acting....
If you're enjoying the drama good for you..... Just respect others who didn't like it please.

cinderella..?
the title does not relate to the ML being a cinderella at all, i keep wondering why is it called that when it couldve been a better title LOL.personally think that the second lead carried the show with their plot & chemistry. felt like most eps are just fillers and how is that even possible when its just a 10ep drama ? every time an ep drops i always wonder where is the plot going because it literally is not going anywhere all the way til the end,, they stretched what couldve been resolved within the first 5eps at ep 8 and at that point i was just skipping 80% of the episodes already. couldve been better!!

Will they? Won’t they? Do I care?
This is not a bad show, but it never reaches any real heights nor offered anything fresh. It is not exactly draggy, but it lacks a certain spark. It is happy to amble down a well-trodden path at its own pace.To wit, the A-plot is the classic trope of a hard working FL falling in love with a chaebol heir. The slight twist in this case is that rather than rejecting the offered bribe to leave the ML, the FL accepts it and set a deadline to break up with him.
That is a little unexpected but promises an interesting twist. It came as no surprise then that she found this an impossible task as she discovers how much she truly loves him. Ditto, the ML was initially hurt by the sudden change of heart, but he clings to her like a lovesick limpet. There are cute and swoon-y moments and the pair looks good together. However, 10 hours is a lot of empty space to fill when your A-plot is one sentence long. Half the show is just their slow dance around each other.
Needless to say, to fill the hours, we have the token SM/FL who didn't contribute much. There is a little bit of angst from that quarter but there are no real antagonists. Rivals become friends, evil mum becomes fairy godmother, and everyone gets their fairytale endings. The older brother and his "estranged" wife actually provided some much needed sweet diversions. Their journey of falling in love long after their arranged marriage is a proven trope but a nice counterpoint nevertheless.
On the flipside are the FL’s coworkers. Ye drama gods! They are caricatures of the worst kind, so cringey.
In the end, the show is delivered with workmanlike efficiency but little imagination. I think It would have work better as a fast-paced movie romp or even a mini series with a bit more depth but its current length is just a bridge too far. A decent filler with all due respect.

My Most Lovable Korean Rom-Com Drama . . .
The Lovable Drama of My Lifetime!Much has been written about this drama.
And my words are not enough to write down on my review for this beautiful drama of Cinderella at 2AM!
*** The Story of Cinderella and Her Prince Charming has been with the history of mankind since 1634. It was written by an Italian author named Giambattista Basile. He wrote the story in literary form. The story of Cinderella was written as a Beacon of Hope, stating kindness amidst sufferings and hardships will be compensated. Cinderella's story is both a Metaphor and an Analogy, that someday and somehow, no matter who we are and no matter our status in life, there is always someone who will truly loved us. ***
Everything that we are looking for in a light-hearted drama -which makes us all smiles, laughs, and even cry are here in one complete storyline. For after all, we watched a drama to be entertained.
This is the best for Shin Hyun-been as Ha Yoon-seo and Moon Sang-min as Seo Joo-won, plus with the excellent support from the other talented secondary leads.
I just want to summarize everything in these direct words: "Cinderella at 2 AM is my First and Most Lovable Drama of my Lifetime!

Binge watch it for a laugh cause their acting is very funny
I can agree on the story how poorly it's written but I don't understand the unnecessary hate towards the actorscause what really kept me watching this was the comedy scenes and how different their funny acting/ actions were , idk why ? but I was laughing a lot , watching chemistry between the brothers seo ju won and seo si won was funny af and ha yun seo's facial expressions and acting was really funny too
I don't mind the age gap but yes the story is too cliche and childish but once in a while I am all for it ,to binge watch it

Refreshing storyline with perfect visual couple!
The storyline is quite refreshing, and different from the normal romcom cliche.Since FL and ML have completely different backgrounds, it's understandable that FL with shabby past family experience is hesitant to move forward in a relationship with the ML who comes from chaebol lifestyle plus also loved by his family (esp. his brother who is super supportive). The romantic and emotional lines are also heart touching.
I also like how it presents the relationships among the characters - FL and her little brother, FL's lit bro and ML, FL and her friend, the chaebol brothers, ML's bro couple and the colleagues. I laugh and cry a lot through out every episode. The mood is like riding roller coaster.

Nice Watch
Cinderella meets her prince charming first and decides to let him go because... she is today's girl.A fairy tale cooked with modern troubles is served with the right dose of humor and trouble.
The story missed giving the right dose of twist. Also, the second lead came out of nowhere and failed to bring out the much-needed drama. The story came out too convenient and less spicy. But overall it is a nice watch given the premise and narrative.

Fun 10 eps drama
Everything about this drama was pretty good, amazing cast expect the male lead idk why he annoys me bit like his acting seems weird idk y and the chemistry with the female lead wasn't clicking but everything else was good. Story was good and fun to watch but a bit of drag In my opinion. I really enjoyed the second lead , tbh they were more fun than the main leads.

What actually happened
Yes, this drama is a 'out of ordinary' drama were the female lead actually takes the mum's money because of the money despite the fact that the ml is rich af..SO from my current understanding, I think that the fl wants to be finically independent and priorities her and her brother's wellbeing after being abused by her father who was controlling and trapped her, she wants finically freedom, however her feelings for the ml is conflicting her wants.
BUT what the fuck is this plot, it felt really dragging and unnecessary, both being grown ass adults couldn't just talk about this and break up peacefully cause why was the guy still chasing? It just feels weird cause imagine if the fl actually did not like the ml at all, all of this seems creepy...
+ The acting was strange, I never felt immersed or sensed chemistry from any of the characters apart from the brother and his wife!
And the plot was just sooooooo dragging like they were already dating and I'm sick of the wealth gap problem cause watching 6 episodes of that only being there main conflict is super boring ?

Misunderstood FL, Cuteness overload ML
i like this so far.. the concept is fresh! which is very rare nowadays with the repetitive patterns and plots ..We usely watch romcoms with ppl falling in love and building up their relationship...but what happens after the relationship is established? do they always get married and live happily ever after? i dont think so ... i like how the show is about two people breaking up ... i m pretty sure it s going to be a happy ending and all... but the concept itself is interesting to me... i would absolutely love to see a show where the couple help each other break up , and actually do break up and go separate ways in the end ...Eitherway, this is an enjoyable watch so far... as a noona romance story, i was a little worried bout their chemistry, but i can hardly tell there s an age gap discordance.. they look very much harmonious and lovely to me..
i seen some people not relating to the FL , and how she seemed to easily break up with him... but it s very understandable. As the older one in the relationship, her character is expected to be the more laid back, cool, confident in decision making, responsible and reasonable. She literally has a 100 reason to break with him, but obviously the show is about her finding that one good enough reason to stay with him...
Idk where this show is heading tho lol r they gon spend the entire upcoming eps going on an eating spree?? gettin stalked by his mother and hiding their relationship from their coworkers? ...Dear god i hope not , that sounds so bland ... So possibly the FL will change her mind early in the episodes.. and then maybe they fight together to convince his mother and stuff?
his brother s sub plot looks funny aswell?? the sudden underwears while they were drinkin was shocking... i actually think his wife loves him and posts on social media cuz she knows he watches it , so it s her way of communicating with him and keepin him updated with her daily life?
Overall, i m interested to see how will the story progress, hopefully the scriptwriter doesnt find themselves stuck in a loop of confessions and rejections , but instead create a path that hasnt been walked before ..

Not Just Another Business Proposal
I tried this with low expectations anticipating a half clone of Business Proposal but with each passing episode was increasingly delighted. While they both have a Cinderella element involving a young woman getting caught up in a difficult relationship with a higher status male, the emphasis is so different. The set up:
The female lead, Yun Seo, together with her little brother, ran away from an abusive drunken father (he beat her and her brother) and drunken mother (she let it all happen) within minutes of finding out she had been accepted into a college. Years later having overcome many obstacles she now works in a major company as a Team Leader.
The youngest member of the team is the male lead, Ju Won, who undergoes severe training as the junior most member. Over time Yun Seo and Ju Won begin a secret relationship that lasts almost two years until she stumbles upon the fact that Ju Won is actually the second son of the Chairwoman of their company who after returning from an extended study abroad was placed incognito inside the company to get on the job training.
And complications ensue:
The first episode opens with the Chairwoman meeting with Yun Seo to tell her to break up with her son for a huge amount of money. The story that unfolds has a lot to say about not only Yun Seo and her difficult upbringing and current situation, but also surprisingly about arranged marriages and the difficulties the upper crust face in finding marriage mates.
The Chairwoman is not an evil person. We learn she is in an arranged marriage with a man who lives in Germany and is not faithful (not that she seems to care). She’s tried to raise her two sons to be cold and calculating to survive in their upper class world.
The story contrasts the evolving relationships of the Chairwoman’s elder son, SiWon, and his wife, with the problems facing his younger brother, Ju Won, and his chosen mate, Yun Seo.
SiWon is in an arranged marriage. His wife has lived in Paris for the past two years and SiWon, we can tell, is lonely but has adjusted and even appreciates living alone (he goes pantless around the house). His life is disrupted when his wife returns suddenly to cohabit (pants now required).
Over in the other relationship Yun Seo tries to break up with Ju Won as per her agreement with the Chairwoman. However, Ju Won resists both Yun Seo and his mother, the Chairwoman, and fights to keep Yun Seo.
At first his behavior seems a bit pathetic but as the story develops we learn why Ju Won is being entirely rational in his pursuit to keep Yun Seo.
For someone in Ju Won’s upper rich crust it is nearly impossible to find a mate especially one from a lower income level who isn’t swayed by the opportunity to marry into power and money. The Chairwoman cannot imagine that Yun Seo is anything other than a gold digger motivated by marrying into the family for the money.
SiWon failed to find a love match and had to enter an arranged marriage.
Ju Won, however, spent two years being tortured incognito and all on his own wooed Yun Seo into a relationship. In fact once she knew his true identity she didn’t think it could work out so she was receptive to the Chairwoman’s offer. Ju Won at one point bursts out saying he’s not giving her up because the relationship he made with her is the single most worthwhile achievement in his entire life (where everything has been handed to him).
Now that his true identity is out he is destined for an arranged marriage like his elder brother, and Yun Seo represents his one and only chance to ever marry for love. So his refusal to give in to his mother’s demands is entirely rational.
