Absolutely No.1 in K-Bl
- kinda confused at first and quite fantasy as many korean serie, so we don't need to ask about god or game maker. If you watch for 2nd time or a quick learner, you will understand the story.- This serie sure has budget more than many others. Main protagonist run a lot. I fee tired just watching him run.
- Story is very very good, actually it can be long as normal serie, because there are many interesting characters, but air time is not supported.
- Acting is very superb. I am amazed enough to go and find IG for Tae Myang Ha. Visual effect is above average and OST is good
Won't spoil other detail, just go and watch serie!!
- I am crazy after finish 1st round, and 2nd time is even more crazy because there are some dialogue that I am not into at first.
- Even more crazy than semantic error. Therefore this should be one of the top Korean BL in my heart.
- gonna support this serie with OST soon after they published.

Literally the best Korean BL
This is such a good show, it's been over 2 months and I am still not able to move on. The entire story is well thought out and makes perfect use of all the tools the setting allows. Using all the tricks it can but still keeping it tangible for the viewer, the characters choices are always relatable to a certain degree. The concept is just really well thought-out and they worked so well with the running time as well. It's easy for alot of plots to become really surface level when there's not much time to develope certain plot drives but that's really not the case here. The casting is amazing as well, they have great chemistry and they work really well as a friendgroup too, not just within the couple. The cinematography is chef's kiss, i loved it from beginning to end.

Happiness For Happiness Sake
Took me a little while to binge this after this series finished airing. I think it’s because I had OD on Thai BLs for a little while now. Especially the saccharine school BLs that GMMTV puts out. I needed a BL rinse before getting into another school BL. This Korean BL was just the right binge.First off I adored Cha Yeon Woon for being the prickly ML. He reminds me of Milk from Choco Milk Sahke. I really like these kind of characters. He’s not the typical prickly type of ML that have walls that are too high to climb over like Nueng in Never Let Me Go or Kawi in Be My Favorite. He’s adorable in the cutest way. I love how he initiates the first kiss and gives the first confession despite his shyness.
Then there is Tae Myung Ha as the MC being the grouchy uncle persona as the senior of the group of friends. He’s so clueless for the 29 year old in a 19 year old body. This dude is clueless about love and happiness despite being thr adult who view everyone as a kid. He’s the biggest kid mentally for not understanding his actions towards Cha Yeon Woon. It is really Cha Yeon Cha who teaches him about life and how to enjoy it.
Cheon Sang Won and Ahn Khung Hoon are the side couple which I liked. For KBLs, I really do not need side couples taking away from the focus of the main couple. Especially when there’s 8 short episodes. Even if this series has longer episodes than most KBLs. It is still short. I am mixed about Cheon Sang Won because he comes off too strong to Tae Myung Ha is pursing him even after he got rejected. It’s also ridiculous that he would let himself get beaten up so he can get Tae Myung Ha attention for being gay after TMH kissed Junho. But then he befriends cha Yeon Woon even if he is his love rival. Ahn Khung Hoon seems like a filler character to the sister who help TMH gets work and build a fanbase for CYW.
This series reminds me of Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint. The goal, the timeline, the penalty and even the secondary goals. The author of this manga must have drawn inspiration from ORV.
The plot twist ending is interesting. I wish I didn’t read the spoiler for the ending so I could’ve enjoyed it more. So I am not going to give the spoiler to the ending here.
Definitely worth the binge.

Interesting plot with attractive and well-written characters.
This drama's biggest strength i believe would be the characters that are written really well and all the actors are able to portray it magnificently.Tae Myungha is such an attractive character as a whole. I really fell in love with his character right off the bat. He has this big presence as a fighter legend that makes no one dares touch him, yet he is not overly arrogant about it. He is so sure of himself and never let other's view on him affect how he does things. The way he is so focus on his goals and never let anyone hold him back no matter what is also very protective. I just really love his character so much!
Cha Yeowoon on the other hand, might seem really complex, yet i dare say he is in fact quite simple. He is this 0 or 100 kinda guy. He build up his wall so high, yet once he let someone in, he is in 100000%, and i love him for it. I also love how he never shies away from showing his affections and always proactive in communicating his needs, which avoids any unnecessary misundertandings.
The plot is also really interesting and the ending is thought-provoking. I really like how the game universe doesn't really feel forced and the production value is also top-notched. The pacing is also excellent. I tend to skip over any filler scenes or any scenes basically that thought boring, but i never skip any scene in this drama.
And i also love how this drama has minimum "cringey" scenes. all the scenes are so beautifully taken, up to a point where you can randomly took a screenshot and it'll look pretty.
All and all this is such a fun watch and definitely ruin the bar for bl dramas for me. highly recommended!

A captivating dream come true
This is actually one of my absolute favourite shows of all time. The story is rich and never fails to keep you entertained and the acting is amazing and captivating, so much that I still obsess over these qualities even after the show's airing period. This show exceeded my expectations and stays in my mind to this day. If you're someone who enjoys a good hurt/comfort story as well as the second chance trope, I feel like you would truly enjoy this. It has the perfect amount of angst and comfort in it's scenes, which is a balance I appreciate and love.
The actors did an amazing job and the production is beautiful and unforgettable. If you have a chance, definitely take the time to watch Love for love's sake <3

If you are deciding to watch it or not, PLEASE GO AHEAD AND WATCH IT
This bl was so unique they are actually trying new genres in KBls and I am loving it and the concept was really well done.I have felt the emptiness of completing a show after a long time where I just don’t know what to do next. I loved it, I am pretty sure I am going to rewatch it again. It goes in the list with best KBLs for me. Although there were plot holes I won’t deny but the story and the acting honestly made up for it. The actors did such a great job!
I don’t know if any other KBL will top it this year

Loved it!
The casting for 'Love for Love's Sake' is undeniably superb. Lee Tae Vin's portrayal of Tae Myung Ha is solid, fitting seamlessly into the role. Cha Joo Wan brings a delightful charm to Cha Yeo Woon, though some moments may come off as cringy, his genuine approach adds an endearing quality to the character. Meanwhile, Oh Min Su and Cha Woong Ki deliver commendable performances as Chun Sang Won and Ahn Kyung Hoon, respectively. However, the love triangle involving Myung Ha, Yeo Woon, and Sang Won could have been explored further. It felt as though the resolution came too abruptly, leaving much potential unexplored. Additionally, the decision to portray Sang Won and Kyung Hoon as cousins rather than potential love interests reflect South Korea's hesitance to fully embrace BL narratives.
Despite these shortcomings, the acting throughout the drama remains authentic, with no forced moments evident. While some scenes could have benefited from a longer runtime to allow for deeper exploration, the overall execution is commendable. Although the game concept could be further developed, the production team utilized their resources effectively, resulting in a satisfying drama experience

Fantastic story with a deeper meaning
I binged it in one night. It wasn’t too cheesy and I loved the video game concept. The characters are easy to fall in love with. I don’t want to say to much but I caught on to the ending around episode 5. It was still beautiful to watch. It was heartwarming to watch the MLs relationship blossom. Honestly, I have nothing bad to say about this series. Also big THANK YOU to Korea for giving us 40min episodes. 😍The plot didn’t feel rushed, character development was nice and the ending was satisfying. I hope we get more series like this one.

Intrigued and not disappointed !
First of all, I watched this series after a long time without watching any Kbl and BL in general because the lack of budget in this field and the low quality series i had watched made me drop the genre for a while. What was my surprise when I found out this series exist, and how much more surprising to see that this can actually be considered like real cinema !
The film direction and the editing are crazily great, i can’t remember the last time i watched a show with such great choices of shots and camera work ! I don’t think I know other works directed by this show’s director, but now i want to discover more because - WOW ! Fabulous job (especially the last episode) !
The storytelling is very interesting too, the way to share informations to the spectators in this series is mostly original, even when the plot is as complicated as this one, it works out perfectly and i must admit that the screenwriter did an awesome job to make this understandable AND enjoyable ! When you think you know what might happen, you just end even more enraptured in the story because it’s not what you expected but it works anyway.
Moreover, the characters personalities are not the plain old stuff we can watch in other Kbl, and that’s why this might be one of my favorite ! Not to mention the cast who delivered a fantastic performance during the whole show, overflowing of the right emotions every time needed !
The only shortcoming i could think of would be the musics used, that i think were either too deeply rooted in the infamous korean romcom style or just here to amplified the already established feelings of some scenes, when it didn’t really need to be.
I saw some comments mentioning a deus ex machina at the end, and though i can understand why they think the end might be coming out of nowhere, I think the kind of confusing setting and the whole video game trope allowed the diegesis of the story to have some resolution like the one a lot of viewers criticised so much. I mean, i don’t think we can even know the real truth of this ending because of the two different universe this series is including, and i might be wrong but i think it’s exactly what the director and the screenwriter wanted so I’m assuming this “deus ex machina” thing mentioned is actually the only reasonable ending we could have expected (if we wanted a happy ending that is).
Anyways, it feels so refreshing to see that this kind of quality stuff is possible even in a field that can’t have the same budget or the same amount of public as heterosexual content ! Good job on this one, I’m waiting for your next work director ! :)

Fresh idea, Excellent execution
I just want to say congratulations to everyone involved with this show because it was perfect. I have loved Korean bls because of the production value and this show took it to another level. The plot, the world building, the acting, everything was amazing and it is definitely starting the year on a very high point. I was already interested in watching this because of Woongki but I never imagined the show was going to be this incredible. The shows this year are going to have to be amazing for this to not be in my top 5 at the end of the year. Lee Tae Vin was absolutely amazing in this considering how difficult it must be to portray his character and I'll definitely look out for more of his projects in the future.Considerați utilă această recenzie?
She's talented, brilliant, incredible, amazing, show-stopping,
When news of this show first reached my ears, I must admit, I was somewhat hesitant. After all, I'd encountered my fair share of typical high school Korean BL dramas in the past. However, the mention of Woong Gi's involvement sparked a flicker of interest within me. And let me tell you, deciding to give it a shot turned out to be a choice I do not regret! The show's storyline is a complex and detailed work of art that captivates viewers with its intricate plotlines and unexpected twists. Each moment keeps you on the edge of your seat, making it hard to look away. The characters are equally impressive, with depth and authenticity that bring them to life before your eyes. This show is a shining example of the power of storytelling and the magic it can bring to our lives.
But what truly steals the spotlight is Lee Tae Vin’s portrayal of Tae Myung Ha. His performance is nothing short of mesmerizing; he imbues the character with complexity and subtlety. The other characters were also impressive, including Yeon Woo, who served as the endearing "cute puppy sunflower" of the show. The exploration of the theme of regret with the rarity of second chances, resonates deeply. As the dynamic between Yeon-woo and Myung-ha blossoms, the desire for a more conclusive resolution intensifies.
As a devoted fan of the show, I must confess that its ending left me with a whirlwind of emotions. While I appreciate the closure it provided and the loose ends it tied up, I couldn't help but feel a yearning for more. The plot and its characters are too rich and multi-dimensional to be contained in just one season. That's why the possibility of a second season is more than just a hopeful prospect it's a necessity.
In conclusion, this show has far surpassed my initial expectations. It stands as a testament to exceptional storytelling, with a plot that keeps you hooked from start to finish, characters you can't help but root for, and performances that leave you in awe. Without a shred of doubt, I wholeheartedly award it a perfect 10/10 rating. It's a must-watch for anyone seeking a riveting storyline brought to life by a stellar cast.
