Heartwarming and fresh

With still 6 espisodes left I may be getting ahead of myself, but I'm confident saying now that this show is one of the best kdramas ever made. The plot is interesting, well written but not over the top, the characters are captivating and the acting is amazing (high praise to Kim Hyeyoon and Byeon Wooseok).
You can see how all the people involved in this project poured their hearts and souls to bring this beautiful story together.

Lovely Runner will definitely make you fall in love time and time again, so please watch it, it's an opportunity you shouldn't lose!

First kdrama I've enjoyed since Dots [HONEST REVIEW] will continue after I finished the show:

Okay Lovely runner, the fuc is this title? And high school theme poster, it's so cliché..but why in the world it got me sobbing after 8mins?

-idk how to start a review but first of all those who's not happy about the character of kim hye yoon(im sol) should just dropped the show coz it annoys me how can they diss a character when we're are in her pov, we should understand her the most coz we know what's she's thinking and why she's doing everything . YET mfs instead use their pov to reason the logic of the show! Shut up do you have traumaS? Amnesia? Did your an idol save you too? and that idol dies? Yada yada.. okay enough rant.

-lovely runner established whats the premise of the show from the from the start and after ep. 3 they add another layer to that time travel/saving sun jae/ something to do with fate.. throughout the series, the writer would slowly slip us this idea of what's bound to happen would happen, it is annoying , frustrating and traumatic not just to the viewers but to our mc imsol too. Especially to imsol!

-tho I admit the concept of timetravel in this show is still a mystery and a plot hole itself.. the story about their love is just sooooo good, chemistry and acting..comedic timing is good too! There's still some cringe moment(some scene of geum) but overall the only thing that's concerning me is how would they wrap up everything in just two episode.

But even if it turns out bad or open ending, i would never forget LR for bringing me those butterflies again, I grow up watching kdramas, those who just have pure love, romance and cute stuffs, then when stop i got bored, tho i still enjoyed different genre but never be like someone who would be screaming and punching my pillow for just a smoch. This maybe my last kdrama idk but thank you lovely runner team! You guys deserve every praises❤️

one of the best drama you'll ever see

I cant wait for the upcoming episodes. This is so good and the actors have done such a great job. The story line is amazing. It keeps the viewers on the edge.
First of all the male lead is soo freakin HOT!!! so far we have seen him only as SML, being the main lead actually suits him more. There is no scene in this drama you ll feel like skipping. Every scene is full of emotions. The first few episodes are a emotional rollercoaster between sadness, love and comedy.
This drama has exceeded my expectations on every aspects. And the casting...... SIMPLY SUPERB!!!!!

"Lovely Runner" has totally made 2024 so much better!

I was deeply impressed by the story and cinematography in the drama "Lovely Runner." The story is so inspiring about an athlete who has to struggle to recover from an injury but never gives up. The full support of the fans further strengthens this story. The romance presented feels like fantasy, yet it remains realistic in depicting the struggles of a career and the search for identity. Sunjae and Im Sol are an amazing character. The unpredictable storyline amazed me, even as a K-drama fan for 15 years. Kim Hye Yoon and Byeon Woo Seok are perfect for their roles. After watching "Lovely Runner," other romance dramas feel less appealing. I really enjoyed the unique timeline in this romantic comedy fantasy drama. It's really surprising to know that this drama has only been in production for 3 years and has achieved international recognition by being screened at the opening of the Paris Olympics. As a K-drama fan, I really appreciate the quality of the story, cinematography, and script. I even bought the script book and Bluray . The soundtrack is also beautiful (ECLIPSE : Sudden Shower, Run Run, etc) I listen to it every day. I even bought the script book and Bluray :)

MANY QUESTIONS BUT ULTIMATELY A GOOD ONE

This drama gave me the vibes of A Time Called You, the same with the oast and everything. However this one left a better impression and it had a more satisfying ending for my tastes. The only and the main problem for me was the non existence of explanations of the main plot. I have so many questions about all of this and the most important is this: If every time Sol goes back in time it’s like a new life, a new story begins, how is possible for Sun Jae in the end to remember all the things they have live together? Since this one , is a new Sun Jae without any memories of Sol.

It's so good I want to give it a 10 but I can't

The plot is really good. It's sweet and fluffy romance. But it's not good as a mystery, It just keep adding questions after questions that I stopped questioning. But that's okay I can let that slide, it's funny and entertaining to watch anyway.
I actually fell inlove with the story in episode 2, she is his biggest fan in the future without knowing she is his first love the whole time and he didn't forget her even before his death. It was all sweet until the moment she keeps rejecting him without even a proper plan what she would do next(it feels like rejecting him was the best plan she had in mind)
What I hate is how dumb out FL can be, she keeps making the worst decision. Did she forgot that she can stop time, that's her greatest advantage but she took it as an obstacle that she can't tell him the future (but then he figured it out anyway). She could've stopped the time when she got kidnapped, and she could even run into the forest instead of just following the road if she is being chased by a truck. There's a lot of choices for her but she acts like she has no Choice but to hurt our ML. And instead of erasing her traces out of his life, she could've just avoided being involved with the serial killer, it's not like she was a target since birth, it all started when she dozed off in the bus. Her method sound like a great sacrifice but it's actually just a dumb decision.
I still like this drama though, I just can't help but think of what it would actually turn out if she's just a little bit wise. I also felt like it didn't reach a proper conclusion, I'm still curious how her movie turned out. If he is still a singer or did he became an actor?
Music is good, I love it.

Love it watch it

Oh my god… this drama is so good. I hated all the top airing k dramas now and I thought we will only get super cliche horrible dramas with repetitive stories, A List actor and an actress with a super branded wardrobe. God how much I hate those type of dramas. It’s almost like factory produced, AI generated devoid of any creativity.
Then along came this drama and my faith in k dramaland has been restored. It’s so squeal worthy. The female lead is so so so lovable. She was disabled and her life has been a struggle. It’s such a heart felt message when she is the knight in the rusty armour … she is the one who is fighting for saving the life of someone. This is so positive for all disabled people and people who struggle with life.
The twists and turns are amazing like simply AMAZING.
Who should watch it - people who love slice of life, people who believe in working through despite all odds, people who like twists and turns and finally all those folks who loved the last twilight (I am one of them).
