Lin Shao Bai is upset that he can't get his salary, so he steals provisions from the police station with his best friend, Xu Wei. During the heist, they encounter an execution of some communists and are caught. They are forced to take part in the firing squad and kill the communists. Lin Shao Bai thinks up a plan to get out of it, but Xu Wei executes the two remaining communists.
