Wasted potential

I was excited, hoping win would portray the role aptly. But the constant unwarranted hatred towards guy led to lacking of chemistry which the original oozes of. I used to get butterflies during the date game confession. This was so meh.

The FL actress looks more like natural beauty unlike the orignal who looks like she had work done. Hence not convincing. Her protray of Liu was so bubbly and not reserved.

The pacing was fast. The leads fought and resolved within an epi.

I felt like I was watching a show about faye instead of FL. Even the univ scenes were relateable in original. This is was not so. So I 2Xed and finished it.

Good start but fail execution

Beauty Newbie had a promising beginning but was hindered by poor execution as it progressed. It didn’t truly satisfy me in its character development nor resolution.

It’s impossible to not compare it the original, which has plenty of iconic and infuriating moments. The Korean ver was more scathing on the misogyny and sexism. Females had agency. In this version, so far, the situations are frustrating at best and leading man is doing too much saving in my opinion.

I know some of the actors from other projects and I find these performances weak. I think it’s a problem with the script and directing more than anything else.

I was hoping for something better from this project.

Not Very Good and Quite Disappointing

The overall theme of learning to love and except yourself was there but it was not done in the right way. Yes, society's unhinged beauty standards are atrocious. That we all in some ways buy into it says a lot about all of us but we can and should do better by each other.

I wanted to like this but It was just a mess for me. I liked the Korean version but it had it's challenges too. This version lacked depth. Most of the series was just random characters interacting in non meaningful ways. It was just not cohesive and the everyone lives happily ever after vibe at the end was too much. Characters in series don't all have to like each other at the end. The best character for me was Saint. I started off hating him but he was by far was the best person in the series. I really liked the Ann character as well.

I was here for Win and he was wasted here but NGL he looked fab in the last ep and I would watch him paint a wall so there's that!

don't waste your time watching this failed thailand remake!!!! korean is way better!!!!

I think this version overall needn't to be already released cause I feel it is a remake copied entirety but with different characters and so poorly executed, it is obvious the story should be the same as an adaptation of my id is gangnam beauty but to make the thailand version successful at least make some little twist in plot or tiny changes in places, the characters, the events...

in addition especially the character of female lead liu is written in a horrible way, she is so clumsy and insanely fond of faye like she is knowing her very well from a long time, at least compared with kang mi rae in the korean version, she was the same deceived by the second female lead at the start but she grew suspicious with time observing the way she is behaving with her, she is more aware and vigilant than the failed liu character written but looking at faye she is way more talented to be sly and cunning than the one in korean version and those in comments who considered faye is more successful than any actor in thailand version were right!!!!!

I only watched 4 episodes and getting sick from this failed remake, if talking about the male lead I think he is so dull and like obliged to act with so weak performance at least he was better in his average drama "devil sister"!!!!??? even the way liu is hating guy is so repulsive that she is not giving him a chance to defend himself, she is prejudiced him so terribly?‍♀️?‍♀️?‍♀️ in the korean version the female lead wasn't at good term at the beginning with the male lead but didn't hate him in a heinous way like liu is doing!!!! 7.6 is overly overrated for this unsuccessful farce in my opinion and not outstanding as the original!!!!
