The First May
Part 1: A Wedding of Their Own: Without any presents or guests, Hee Tae and Myeong Hee marry each other with nothing but a couple of prayers that they wrote. However, their wedding is interrupted by news of Myeong Hee’s father. Meanwhile, Ki Nam orders one of his men to take care of Myeong Hee, but things don’t go according to plan. Part 2: An Answer To Your Prayer: Myeong Hee and Hee Tae set out in search of Myeong Soo after he takes off into the woods. The couple comes to a crossroads and splits up to continue their search, not knowing that this could mean goodbye. Meanwhile, the year is 2021, and Hee Tae is a professor of emergency medicine. Youth of May Episode 12 Reacţii
The acting was great, portraying love in its purest form. Good closure from the drama; understand that it had to be what it was in order to make the most impact storywise. The characters in the present day live on with myunghee in their hearts, forever cherishing the brief memories of May. and to Hee Tae - thank you for choosing to love her with all your heart. You've been through a lot, but you're free to live the rest of your life with her now living in you. Do your best as an answer to her prayer, and do not let the sorrows of the one left behind drown you. Indeed, may the Lord give you the utmost strength and courage to swim safely through this life.

i’ll never get tired of this drama. everything about it was written so perfectly and the cast really carried their characters and perfectly portrayed the heavy emotions of the plot line. especially because we were really able to see the impact that the gwangju uprising did to the citizens back in 1980. the message was perfectly sent across and i 100% recommend this if you need a good cry
