as much as i love this kdrama, i do wish that there could’ve been a different ending.. i didn’t really except the ending but i was kind of happy that they are alive but i wanna know what happens next like i just wanna see a happy ending where they’re like free! this kdrama also kinda had me so frustrated like some mafias were being so obvious and i was surprised that they didn’t see these like little hints the only person that i didn’t really except to be a mafia was da bum tbh LMAO but i will say that this kdrama had me come with so many theories and connections and it was fun to just notice like the little clues and some of the characters death got me so sad this had me entertained for a while and im just wishing that there’s gonna be a season 2 like i just wanna see a happy ending 😭 Considerați utilă această recenzie?

My Honest Opinion (Kinda spoiler)
I didn’t really like the ending because the whole game was fake, but it’s still enjoyable to see the characters finding out who is the mafia. And also, there aren’t any adult content, which is the best thing for me since mostly this type of movie has it (I don’t like covering my eyes). It’s a really good movie, but I wished the mafias would win the game since their undercover are really good that the unexpected characters would always be the mafia.Considerați utilă această recenzie?

Left my rolling my eyes
The reason I gave just 5 stars/10 is because I was so hyped and glued to the story until the ending made me roll my eyes. So many loop holes and the ending will just leave you saying "what the ---"Acting was good though and so is the musical score. It is like Squid game or Battle Royale, you can't be attached to a character cause you know, they just die.
If you don't want to spoil your view about this show, spare yourselves and stop halfway through the last episode. The ending will just make you shake your head and say, "no." "this is crap."

VERY POOR ENDING
Honestly I feel like the overall story was good and all but for me the ending felt way too rushed, and it especially felt like it was just an idea that they came up with out of nowhere. 😭 I really liked the beginning, the characters did very good at acting but it for a bit more sloppy near the ending. All those hints about the ghosts and everything just for it to just be about a video game? And it made no sense as to why the parents put the blame on the students when it clearly wasn't all their faults, they should've looked after their own kid. Anyways I would probably be looking forward to a Season 2 of this :).Considerați utilă această recenzie?

At the beginning, it's great, but towards the end, it's horrifying.
The story and the concept were absolutely fantastic for me, and even the execution was interesting. The actors also delivered a good performance. I even managed to handle the main character, who seemed extremely whiny over time. However, the final episode completely ruined the whole series for me. It felt totally undeveloped and nonsensical, as if they needed to quickly wrap up the series and put together the ending during a lunch break. It's a shame; the series had the potential to be on the top charts.Considerați utilă această recenzie?
How a 3 min ending can change your opinion!!!
Honestly saying I never write reviews but this series made me want to write one.Firstly starting with how I liked this drama
It was 10/10 until the end of the episode even after I saw all the spoilers and people getting disappointed with the drama at the end of the episode I do think that it's not the whole episode but just few minutes which can change your opinion about the whole drama.
Until last few minutes of the series I felt like why??? That just doesn't make sense!!! The game restarts? But all of this question can get its answer if there is a season 2
I personally would like to watch Season 2 with a different game but the plot won't change ik that
anyways I feel like everyone has different opinions and that's why almost all the reviews say that it's disappointing but
well I would like to say give it a go
you won't know it until you watch it

Before starting this review, i must say that this easily entered my favourite 20 k-dramas of all time, not just because of how good it was but because i loved it so much. This drama didn't have any boring scenes or moments, it was so fluid and i didn't even realize that i finished it in ONE DAY, i am promising you it's not a 10/10 but a definitely interesting show, not a single boring moment for me and pretty short.
Now let's come to the show, where the problem starts to occur.
First of all the story is a 10/10, this show's plot is one of the if not the most unique k-drama plots, it's so different from others and i can't find anything like this, the recommended ones are pretty much not like this i would say, so the story is a definitely 10/10
The acting is kind of.. Blunt, yes i know most actors are new & rookie but they could have done a better job i guess. I'm hoping all of them to be very succesfull on the future.
Show had some stupid parts but i'll explain them later.
Writing sucked a lot, the mafia game had some issues. The mafia could have destroyed someone's phone knowing that they will be voted, because when you don't vote you get executed, at least they wouldn't live if they didn't either???
Ending was not that bad as other people made it look like, but i don't understand why people make it look like it's the worst ending of all time in k-drama history, i think it's great for a season 2 to clarify some things that didn't make sense in the season 1.
I didn't understand parents. Not just because what they did was insane but literally EVERYONE was blamed.. like what'd i do honey? I just ate my popcorn in my home and watch my K-dramas.
ML and FL victimized themselves and it was awful. The ML was the biggest hypocrite i have ever seen in my life yet he was acting like a 'villain' who wants to survive just like others is a b*tch?
I don't understand how in that situation where you literally DIE you can still care about romance.. literally.. and they were so calm the whole show like they knew it was going to happen. Was it bad acting or bad writing? or both?
Why did they not just get rid of bullies aka most importantly kyungjun first? It would calm down the situation more as he is making it worse.
There is no single likable character..
We still don't know how NYW got stabbed, who even did it and his death was problematic & fatphobic.
Overall, Night has come is an enjoyable short webdrama with major flaws/plot holes, If you want to watch it still go ahead and do it.

This could've been good.
Like all the other reviews, I will start by saying it was a strong beginning but the ending was a poor choice imo.The mystery of it all was intriguing to guess around of who had what roles. I believe the show did a good job at showcasing teenage gullibility and how if you have a friend you'll believe what they say. There were times I was questioning each person and then I would understand their motive of being suspicious. I believe the show was trying to get a shock with the murders and kind of lost the reason of what the show was about in the first place. Na Hee, my beloved, you deserved so much better. It was an easy watch and I always say if it's not for me, it's for someone else. This show is an example.
Acting wise I will say Lee Jae In (Yoon Seo) was great. She kills it whatever she's in and this one was a respectable choice. The script was a little off at times but for a 12 episode, 30 min. each show, I can understand the rush they were using when explaining things. I do think the theatrics were a bit much of being extremely obvious in a crowded room (cough cough So Mi and Da Beom) so it was a little off putting seeing that and every goes for the innocent one. WooSeok (Jun Hee) was a respectable watch, I do think because of his popularity they can't just kill him off in the middle of the show because their viewership would go down. I was surprised when Kyung Jun died and -stayed- dead, given the curveballs we were receiving but a nod to Cha Woo Min who took the L.
Now, the ending. I caught the vibe of what they were trying to do but given the fact that they rushed it all in the last 5 minutes is insane of them to think that was a good idea. They already were being unclear throughout the show with giving up minimal amount of knowledge of Eun Ha and who she even was for us to care. Then they are telling us, "well actually, all of these kids deserve being put through torture for what my daughter went through" and listen. I love the revenge arch idea. Again, last 5 minutes to intake all of that is crazy. At least give us 2 more episodes. One in the beginning, prefacing Eun Ha's death and giving us literally anything about this girl and gain some sort of attachment. One at the end, giving us more of the parents and their mindset on starting this and maybe some drama of what they had to do to get 30 kids without authorities being flagged by it all. Then maybe give us more of her throughout the show, not just quick ghost glimpses and secretively it being Jungwon all along because HOW are we supposed to connect any reason to these lines of the story if we don't have a base. Also just to reroute it back to the beginning . . . what did we gain? Like, sick, I watched all of these episodes of these kids killing each other only to find out, there is no solution. Listen, I love cliffhangers, but this last 10-30 seconds just gives you no hope because you have nothing to go off of.
Overall, it isn't bad. I just need more to fully be enraptured by this story line and maybe if they one day decide to give it a season 2, please stop giving me anger without a reason and maybe some grief or something to show that the start of all of this was because this innocent girl was bullied to death. If you are wanting revenge, I recommend The Glory or Blind. If you want a quick watch to just get a taste of mystery and death, then I recommend this. I don't recommend a rewatch unless you are either down bad for Wooseok or you like paining yourself with the unknown questions of what just happened.

A thriller that is quite devastating at times with serious high tension. don't know what happens next. The feeling of dread never goes away. As far from romance as you can get in these contexts. Caring is the closest you can see. Otherwise, it is betrayal and false trust in each other that applies to being able to survive. The mafia against civilians, doctors and police according to the rules of the game. Except with the method of voting everyone is done on their own mobile phone instead of pointing someone out by hand. The biggest gain is to have life preserved, a lot that happens in between.
Reminiscent of Duty after school without monsters but with more horror instead as I wanted in the already mentioned. The alliances are not as clear. Not as comical as it was at certain moments, but a real horror, a nightmare in the school world. All of us are dead should also have similarities with this one, even though I haven't seen it, I know it's in a school setting as well. However, this one has no zombies. Also darker and much better. Good music and visually good as a horror. Very interesting!!!!!!

Nice thriller
overall nice drama with great acting. but some things were random like,- putting all the bodies in the freezer(if it was to show that they were human, not all of them worried about food),
- the ghost(not really needed if the host was among them all the time),
- limitless 2nd floor's existence (why did they not use it? they could've easily hidden there, at least yeon-seo alone),
- Yeon-seo won when the last man standing was Jun-hee??

"Night Has Come" definitely had potential, but it missed the mark in so many ways. I'm a huge fan of stories like the "Jinrou Game" series, which always manage to captivate me despite not being masterpieces. So, when I heard about a K-drama taking on a similar concept, I was pumped. Sadly, the execution fell flat, and it ended up being a wasted opportunity.Let's talk about the acting:
•First off, Lee Jae In as Yoonseo? Ah, man, I hate to say it, but her performance just didn't cut it for me. Her acting felt flat, like she was stuck on one expression—mouth open, eyes wide. I couldn't connect with her character at all, which made me pretty indifferent to what happened to her. Her whole vibe came off more cringey than anything heroic or compassionate.
•Then there's Kim Wooseok playing Junhee. Sure, he's easy on the eyes, but his acting? Yeah, not so much. I was expecting more depth from the male lead, but his performance just didn't hit the mark.
•Now, on the bright side, Cha Woomin as Kyungjun? Now that guy could act. He nailed the role of the tough, survival-driven class bully. Every scene with him was intense, and you could really feel the desperation and cunning in his character. Props to him for standing out among the cast.
•Ahn Jiho as Dabeom—now that guy knows how to steal the show. He flawlessly shifted between timid and straight-up psycho Dabeom throughout the series. I mean, the Dabeom we saw in episodes 1-7 versus 8-12? It was like watching two completely different characters, but Jiho pulled it off without missing a beat. It's like he devoured every scene he was in, leaving nothing behind.
•And then there's Jung Sori as Somi. Man, she really knew how to play the mean pick megirl, didn't she? Somi's character was so intense and in-your-face, and Jung Sori nailed it perfectly. You remember those scenes with her because she left this lasting impression of a character you love to hate.
•And let's not forget Choi Yebin as Jungwon. She's got talent, no doubt about it. We've seen her skills way back in her debut series "The Penthouse," and here, despite her character's robotic demeanor and limited emotional range, she still managed to leave an impression. You could tell she was holding back, though. I wish they had given her more to work with because she's capable of so much more.
The casting of the main leads was a letdown, to say the least. You've got supporting actors like Yeonwoo, Hyunhoo, Mina, and even those with less screen time like Heo Yool and Jooyoung delivering more engaging performances than the main leads. Like, what gives? You'd think the director would prioritize solid acting chops over popularity, right? But nope, they went and cast Kim Wooseok probably just because he's a K-pop idol. Sure, he's got the looks and all, but acting-wise? Meh. It feels like they played it safe, not fully committing to the story's potential. Can you blame them? Reading that script, I might've had doubts too. It's a trend that's becoming way too common in K-dramas these days. If they'd focused solely on acting skills during casting, they could've easily found lesser-known actors who would've knocked it out of the park. Maybe Kim Wooseok could've started with smaller parts to get the hang of acting before going for a lead. Because let's be real, the difference in acting ability between Kim Wooseok and legit actors like Cha Woo Min and Ahn Jiho? It's like night and day It's frustrating how easily K-pop idols slide into acting gigs while genuine, talented actors have to fight tooth and nail for their shot. I mean, no shade to Kim Wooseok—he's doing his thing—but directors should prioritize skill over fame.
Characters:
Let's talk about the female lead. Initially, I was thrilled at the prospect of a strong, badass female lead but Yoonseo’s character ended up in the trash can. At first glance, she appears as a quiet and unpopular figure among her peers but the writers try to make her stand out by giving her asthma and hallucinations, which are meant to make her seem more unique and significant in the group. As a main character who is an avid reader of mystery novels, she's supposed to be the smart one—calmer and more insightful because she has a mental framework for what's happening. However, this potential is never fully realized. Instead, she often seems helpless and lacks the sharpness expected of her character. She is not the brightest in the group, despite the writers' efforts to portray her as such. Yoonseo is portrayed as weirdly and stupidly kind, allowing the bully Somi to do as she pleases and forgiving her no matter what. It’s painfully obvious that Somi hates her for being too close to Junhee and is trying to kill her. Yoonseo's always tries to save the day but consistently makes poor choices.
Moving on to the male lead, Junhee the class president, he started off as popular and seemingly important, but his character's relevance dwindled as the series progressed. His sole purpose seemed to revolve around becoming Yoonseo's love interest. Junhee is initially portrayed as a risk-taker, but after being accused of being the mafia in the first two episodes, he stops taking risks and becomes passive. Failing to use his leadership skills expected from a class president.
I disliked the characters I was supposed to like and couldn’t find any reason to root for the 'good guys'. Junhee and Yoonseo, the male and female leads, don’t seem to have any purpose other than being shown more frequently and being forced upon the viewer as important. There’s nothing substantial to their characters. We never get a full backstory for either Junhee or Yoonseo. Both lack depth and a detailed history. There’s a flashback hinting at some trauma for Junhee, but it’s never explored. How are we, as viewers, supposed to empathize with and support the main characters if we know nothing about them? Essentially, there’s no real reason for why these two should be our protagonists other than their superficial "holier-than-thou" attitudes. On the other hand, Dabeom would have made a much more interesting main character. He’s a nerdy loser who gets bullied and seeks revenge, offering a fresh perspective as the mafia instead of the typical "good guy" citizen perspective.
Its seems I'm blah blah so much so I just gonna say The story is just poorly written. The whole game should been controlled by their ghost/dead classmate like the story hinting for the whole time. Kinda fresher than there some how mastermind group like the jinrou game who find it entertainment to watch student killing each other. . Just it being the Se Eun parents forcing them into a simulation loop thing kinda made it seem meeeh
