Why R U? Korean Remake (2023)

THE REMAKE IS ACTUALLY GOOD

- I LIKED this remake so far because it's actually quite different from the original version. Although it's the same plot but they changed it and made it more Korean. I didn't like the first couple on the original but I love them here on the remake. Their bickering is actually funny instead of being annoying. About the second couple, they are the best in both versions. Lastly, I like the production and visuals of this series more than the original, this one is more like classic and I absolutely love old/darker effects on the drama.
- What I DISLIKE about are the editing and facing of the scenes, sometimes I feel like it some scenes was rushed.
- OVERALL, this is pretty good when you think they only have small budget for this series.

1000/10⭐️ WHY R U such a perfect BL

I have seen many BL dramas but none of them were THIS GOOD… The chemistry between them, the kissing scenes ahhh.., the romance was romancing and the comedy was funny every single time.. I loved Jung Lee Won’s sister (Jung Lee Jin) she made me laugh every second of her screen time her acting is amazing.
The couples fitted perfectly into their roles and I didn’t have a preference on which couple I liked more because their were evenly good at it so I enjoyed it 100% of the time, not a single boring or cringe moment.
I really hope for season 2 because this now my #1 BL. 1000/10⭐️

Quem botou o pé no acelerador?

Ok, vamos lá! Antes de mais nada vou adiantando que ainda não vi o original tailandês e dito isso, posso começar dizendo que achei interessante eles terem trocado para uma faculdade de cinema, de primeira foi isso que me atraiu e logo depois eu descobri que o casal principal da versão original não teve tanto foco por causa da pandemia de COVID-19, mas aqui no remake, eles assumem seu lugar de direito desde o inicio.

Então, para não me embananar toda com a história, eu resolvi começar daqui mesmo.

A história vai girar em torno do Jung Yiwon, um estudante de atuação, que não muito com a cara de um tal de Kim Ji Oh, que quer se tornar um diretor. Coisas acontecem e os dois viram um par na aula de atuação e começa aquele negócio da implicância, que vai acabar em amor. O grande problema disso, a irmã do Jung Yiwon tinha escrito uma novel BL sobre eles, ele começa a achar que tudo aquilo, tá acontecendo porque a irmã dele escreveu.

Tudo aqui é rápido demais, lá pelas tantas eu até precisei dar pause para conseguir acompanhar os diálogos de tão rápido. Não consegui identificar direito quando o Ji Oh se apaixonou (Foi no beijo acidental? Ou não!). A impressão que passava era que a irmã do Yiwon, não gostava de escrever aquela novel, não sei direito, até porque foca bem pouco nisso. Achei o casal secundário fofo, assim como o principal. Não é uma química avassaladora de arrasar quarteirão, mas tá valendo!

Não é uma obra prima, mas para quiser entender melhor a história de Why R U?, fica a recomendação!

Cute and sweetest drama ever

I really recommend everyone to watch this cute drama of 2 couples I enjoyed from beginning till end I understand we have very short duration may be that is why we couldn’t able to see more scenes and slow version of developing feelings but I think for main couple I could Abel to see starts from fighting then friendship then confused feelings finally they were together I think that was great script for them I enjoyed watching their story as for other couple it was cute but unfortunately a kind of silent relationship was between them kinda boring but last episode was good between them I’m not sure when they started to fell for each other it doesn’t even make sense too anyway I hope atleast we get some special episodes of this couple but I can’t give less ratings just because of this reason because I was fond of other couple already anyway hope to see them together again

Absolutely worth watching

The first episode in my opinion was a bit rushed and I was there contemplating if I should continue watching it. But trust that you shouldn't judge a series by it's first episode because afterwards it turned into one of the most amazing kbl series out there. I just want to acknowledge the fact that Korea has come so far with BL since their first series in 2020.
This series was amazingly portrayed, the acting was great, the actors are adorable/handsome and the storyline of both couples were amazing. I totally recommend watching this series because it gives off such a soft heartwarming and also a bit of twist and feeling of sadness towards the end which is something I always enjoy especially when there's a happy ending in the end.
Both couples were amazing and it didn't seem like either couple was the second couple, more like both were the main couples beacuse of equal screentime.
I 100% recommend watching this especially since you can watch it in one day and just set your mood in a positive way since it's a fun and entertaining series that makes your heart flutter, gives you utter shock because of how good the kisses are(lol) and because of the twist of sadness that turns out to be ok in the end.

disappointed

I dropped this show like a hot potato!
I didn't even think I'd be able to even make it through the two episodes that I managed to watch.
It was just bad.
I mean beyond awful. I thought maybe I was looking at it and comparing it to the original which I absolutely love and still rewatching that one. I guess it was about 2 weeks after I dropped it I went back and tried to rewatch those first two eps again with fresh eyes. I did try to give it a chance but just rewatching those two episodes think they would've been better if the show was written differently. Since it is a bl I'll probably go ahead and watch it from start to finish and get through it some time next year.

I can't tell if it's even the same show anymore

I started to watch this because the Thai series by Mii2 and ZeeSaint was super amazing, I didn't expect so much from Korean BL drama cuz they never put lots of effort and money into making it. But this is crap, the story is changed, the editing sucks, and the story seems to be in a rush. University student-made short films are way better than this. I can't even stand for the first 10 minutes. I don't even get why the reviews for this drama are so high...like how???? The Thai series is much better and much funnier. Don't waste time on this, just watch the original one seriously....

However, one fact, Sang Min is really cute, nice casting, he's a Korean hottie Saint.
