Groundhog day-type. Male leads have to relive the same day (the day their girlfriend dies) over and over after having mistreated her in a way, and desperately try to save her with these extra chances given.

Plot is almost the same: with the help of magic candles/ incense stick, our male lead has to save the love of his life from a deadly accident by going back to the past. The korean drama is longer and does it nine times while the film only 3. And the leads in the movie are cuter....I am shallow, sue me! LOL

In both the film and the Korean drama, the two male protagonists manage to go back in time, the first by blowing out birthday candles, the second by burning incense.
