Bonne surprise !
Je ne fondait pas trop d'espoir sur cette série (je ne suis pas fan des histoire de revenants), mais je me trompais !REVENANT a été une bonne surprise, vraiment.
Le scénario est intéressant (je me suis totalement laissé piéger). Et le rythme est parfait : les révélations n'arrivent pas trop rapidement, nous maintenant en allène ; et sont suffisamment percutantes pour déstabiliser un peu.
Le jeu des acteurs est vraiment bon. Un vrai coup de cœur pour Kim Tae Ri (qui interprète Ku San Young), je ne connaissais pas cette actrice mais je vais suivre son travail.
Bref, même si vous n'êtes pas fan du genre, c'est une série qui mérite d'être vue.

UM SHOW DE QUÍMICA!!!!!
Impressionada com a química do elenco. O enredo foi maravilhoso, personagens bem desenvolvidos, final fechadinho e coerente. Amei o entrosamento dos personagens, amava ver ela com aqueles dois. Sei que não é de romance, mas a química era tanta que não dava pra não shippar. Oh Jung Se mais uma vez arrasando com sua versatilidade, interpretando esse personagem com sentimentos tão complexos de uma forma genial. Depois de tê-lo visto em Tudo Bem Não Ser Normal, Três Irmãs e Para Sempre Camélia, posso dizer que ele é um ator sensacional. with each episode progressing, you're on the edge of your seat for sure~
You can always blindly trust Kim Taeri.The drama was well-written, with every plot-twists in mind that would come out as surprising but explained well. The horror was spine-chillingly beautiful, the cinematography, the timeline from past to present was done well, and acting of each characters, main and support were superb.
The main story plotline was perfect but the side story of all those ghosts were heartbreaking. Just tells us, not every ghost is a vengeful ones. They were humans once just like us who just wants to protect their loved ones as their final wish. You will feel scared, anger, fear, sad all the emotions in one go as the story progresses, especially knowing a child was sacrificed by those rich adults who wanted nothing but had greed for more money. The child actress as we've seen from her other projects is such a talented one, she will become one of the best actress of her generation someday.
The past story of the ghost and how she was used by the rich depicts the true story of how rich would do anything and abuses the poor people in real life was mind-numbingly heart-wrenching and yet I felt even hatred towards the ghost for betraying her own family especially her own sister.
Everything about the plot was done fantastically and even if there was something missing, the acting of these actors covered it all.
Kim Taeri should be getting daesang for this acting role. Ku Sangyoung/the devil, her portrayal of a vengeful spirit with so much hatred towards people was perfectly brought to the screen from the pages. From being just a child who wanted nothing but affection from others, the feeling of loneliness, then to such spiteful spirit she did so well. Not only her body language, even her eyes will be acting at the same time.
You should definitely watch the show if you love Kim Taeri and love horror genre. It's one of the memorable story that will make you want to re-watch as soon as you're done watching it the first time.

It's just perfect when you don't have the will to watch to anything
i didn't had any will to watch any dramas, I just finished my exams and now almost every drama I was starting, i wasn't able to even watch the first episode, there were popular ones too, but I saw this one on my insta feed and it caught my attention [ i'm a frequent kdrama watcher, I started watching since 2017 december and i have a specific preference] i watched it and it was worth it, you know sometimes when you don't want to do anything but that one thing suddenly caughts your attention and you start getting out of it, it's kind of that, I think I will watch it again with someone specific, the genre isn't just horror but the story is a bit more attractive, i never wrote any reviews about things I watched but it was genuine too good and i just love the cast, kim tae ri is too perfect, if i could ever cast actors for kdramas iw ould go for the cast of this one. the story is perfect and the cast makes it a must watch. Shocking on how underrated it is‼️‼️
(This is my first time writing a Review so I hope it makes sense 😭)Out of all the kdramas I've watched this has to be one of my favorite. The acting and writing of this show was amazing especially kim taeri's acting. Ive watched a lot of series that kim taeri has starred in and honestly think this was one of her best. I feel this genre was made for her because it showed off her true potential for example that one scene in episode 10 seriously creeped me out and as a person who loves watching thrillers/horrors it shocked me since im not easily creeped out lmao.
The reason why im giving the acting a 9.5 because I felt like the the grandma could've put more effort into her acting. Her screams of distress(?) were just not doing it for me ifyk yk😭. The casting for the other characters was amazing though 👍
I'm the type of person to skip boring parts of a series/movies to get to the good parts but everything about this series was interesting not once did I skip a scene. I have to say for me most of the time when watching a kdrama the plot feels rushed and like it's missing something especially the endings of some but this kdrama felt complete. Their was no questioning on what will happen later on it was clear on how the characters might live on into the future. I also like how there was no romance between characters but just simple flashbacks of the old times when it came to hongsae and sanyeong. (although their may have been a bit of tension in my opinion)
Each episode had me left wondering what would happen next and second guessing my predictions, overall this was a great series especially for a 12 episode kdrama.

Interesting story
The story got me hooked since episode 1 and so far at episode 6 I'm still really enjoying it. It's fast paced, intruiging and the FL and ML are doing an amazing job actingwise. I tend to fastforward a lot or watch in 2x the speed, but I haven't been fastforwarding with this one so that's definitely a good sign.I think this show is at least an 8.5 or 9 out of 10 so far. It's underrated at the current 8.2, especially compared with some other shows that are currently airing and rated higher but are much less watchable in my opinion.

The best horror this year
Alright, let's talk about "Revenant"First things first, this show is seriously intense! It's got murder, mystery, and enough plot twists to make your head spin faster than a merry-go-round. I couldn't tear my eyes away for a single second!
The main character, Park Min-woo, is a total badass detective with a dark past. He's on the hunt for a creepy serial killer, and let me tell you, these murders are like something out of a horror movie! They had me on the edge of my seat, screaming, "Who did it? Tell me, damn it!"
The suspense is off the charts! Every episode leaves you hanging, dying to know what happens next. And just when you think you've cracked the case, BAM! They hit you with a mind-blowing twist that leaves you shook.
The cast is brilliant – they bring their A-game to the table. You'll be rooting for the good guys, booing the bad guys, and constantly changing your mind about who's behind all the chaos.
Visually, "Revenant" nails it! The dark and eerie vibe adds a whole new level of creepiness. I swear, I felt like I was right there, investigating the crime scenes myself!
And let's not forget the psychological aspect – it's mind-boggling! They dive deep into the characters' minds, uncovering secrets you never saw coming. It's like peeling back layers of an onion – you never know what you'll find!
In a nutshell, "Revenant" is a rollercoaster of emotions.

a must see drama in 2023
this drama is just something else, way too good to be truth, the writer, the actor, all of it just insanely good, never skip to watch this drama every week, always having a surprise in every preview and every episode, for me episode 8 is a GOLD ! i mean its sooo intense to watch, making me hard to breath, having a new experience while watching a movie but its so good i enjoyed it so much !! i hope this drama never ending, or maybe there is season 2, that trio is just so perfectly click each other, i love that combo so muchConsiderați utilă această recenzie?
kim Taeri’s flawless acting skills
Kim Taeri really got my attention with the handmaiden and I was so impressed by her acting skills so I decided to watch just because of her. My heart races when i decides to watch it
It's so good the actors the storyline definitely worth giving up everything and watching it. I have never been scared and not saying i am scared but it sure is considered scary for me like i have to mentally prepare myself to get into the theme and just keep myself on the hook so I don't exit because it's scary lol. It's so good deserves all kind of awards it could get. I should say Kim tae ri's acting is just spot on ik she acted for a very lil amount of drama but I still adore her the way she switched with the evil spirit and to herself it's just awesome I'm praising her acting skills and I should say the other casts acting was soo good aswell the way the grandma acted and the others is so cool. The way they cry was too real and every time Kim tae ri fell down I was like is she fine cause that fall looked too real it's as if she actually fell down and got injured and ik there was not that much romance I mean there wasn't even romance according to the ppl who was actually enjoying just for the horror parts but to me I saw a lot of interaction with the detective and Kim tae ri the way he looks at her and even in the last ep it was so good I'd be pleased if I get to know they r acting another kdrama or movie together as a fl and a ml a lil romance like celebrity would be totally fine with me but if they aren't it's fine aswell I mean it's their wish but I hope to see more dramas with Kim tae hee my heart was heartbroken after I watched 2521 but I loved their romance and that drama was a hit big hit in Korea and international countries let me stop talking bout it sry but I rlly adore Kim tae hee and the other casts work they came out with an incredible story which I will see again the last part from the last ep was rlly good it ended perfectly other than her losing her vision ofc and my review is in a positive side I should say no negatives and be happy :)Considerați utilă această recenzie?
i watched the last episodes at night, not sure it was a good idea lol!
The gloomy vibe, the ACTING everything was on point!!! and at times, humans can be scarier than ghosts.i always wonder how Kim Hae Sook manages to play those villians roles so well, i really got the dark vibes and goosebumps from her once again , kudos to her!
Even if you don't like Kim Tae Ri for any reason, you have to give her credits for her acting, like yes the girl can act! since they didn't use any make up or whatever to differenciate San yeong from the ghost, it was crucial for her to use her facial expressions to nail it and she delivered!
Hong Kyung ( the young police officer), omg how can he be this good at acting!? he was also one of the main leads in " weak hero class one " i was once more mesmerized by his acting, i'll be looking forward his next projects.
Oh Se jong, phenomenal as usual!it is always nice to watch him act, his character here is so different from the one from "it's okay not to be okay" this shows how GREAT he is.
Another actor i really like for his versatility even if he is always playing a supporting role, is actor Kim Won Hae, whenever he is in a drama i do not hesitate to watch it lol! And this time too i wasn't dissapointed.
Overall for me it's an 8.5/10! These days k-dramaland is on fire, the dramas are of great quality and you can tell they worked really hard, thank you and keep going, i have so many dramas to watch and review!!!!
