A disastrous film editing! - Un montage catastrophique

The story itself is good. The actors are good, but the editing is a disaster. The apotheosis is in ep. 9 half of which are flashbacks of previous episodes: a shame! All this to get to 10 ep. whereas with 8 it was more than enough.
The editing in this epidose is chaotic, we no longer understand anything, with incomprehensible flashbacks and returns to the present.
Too bad because it spoils the viewing of the series.

L'histoire en soi est bien. Les acteurs sont bons, mais le montage est une catastrophe. L'apothéose est dans l'ép. 9 dont la moitié sont des flash bac des épisodes précedents: un honte! Tout ça pour arriver à faire 10 ép. alors qu'avec 8 cela suffisait largement.
Le montage dans cet épidose est le plus cahotique: on n'y comprends plus rien, avec des flashbacks et retours dans le présent incompréhensibles.
Bien dommage car cela vient gâcher le visionnage de la série.

AT LEAST IT'S WATCHABLE

I'm probably the most lenient reviewer and I'll get straight to the point, Chains of heart is a GOOD but SENSELESS BL drama.

Firstly there's the fact that none of the story makes sense and I also don't understand why it felt like DIN was very terrible at being undercover, besides I think I am not the only one who noticed but on top of the fact that KEN is terrible at fighting and his action scenes tell it all, that guy is good at fainting every time they attempt to strangle him in almost every episode.

There was also that annoying guy that was recurring in every plot whose laughter made the series annoying.

However for some reason CHAINS OF HEART kept me captivated to the point that regardless of how BAD its writers and producers were I'm surprised that I didn't get to drop the title but succeeded in watching it till the end when for some Reason BED FRIEND which was supposed to be much better and was well produced bored me on its forth episode because it feels like a SEX STORY with hardly any steamy scenes and all we get to see is a couple of actors doing much kissing and fastforwarding in their boxers.

But I give chains Of the Heart an overall 8/10 because trust me by the time you can keep watching all episodes of a BAD SERIES to the end for some reason then at least it deserves some credit.

Bromance, BL, Mystery, Suspense

I like the part where the thriller of the mystery from the beginning and it gain a lot of viewers. Acting skills are perfect. Music background good as suspense to create tension. But ending is so sad which would he takes off the gloves and the ending is very bad he goes on the run. Causing Ken to be left alone again. I pity Din sister no one cares for her as her eyes are blindfolded and hands are being tie up. Ending could have been better.

This ending cause a lot of fans unhappy and we demand season 2; since Din had changed his face, fingerprints and vocal before he can change it again maybe back to Din? Or someone else. Since Lue is being wanted/ fingerprints belongs to Lue not Din.

If there is season 2 which have a happy ending fans will watch and even gain more fans.

Chasing the thriller/suspense, mystery is something good to began with but an unhappy ending causing hurt.

If anyone making petition for Season 2 "Chains of Heart" drama message me.

Hot confusing mess

I might be due to the fact that I skipped some parts or got distracted, but I could not retell the plot of you held me at gunpoint. The biggest flaw is that what needs explaining or elaboration is just left there and what is obvious and in your face gets explained too much. Choices in flashbacks (when to show them and how often) or memories (clear only to the one remembering) are confusing and even frustrating. Relationships remain unclear for a very long time.
That all being said, it's at times a very intense watch, with great scenery and an interesting story and theme. The romance part is secondary to the crime and revenge plot, which is great if executed well. If that had been done this would have been a smashing 9/10. But due to above mentioned flaws it gets a mediocre 7.5/10. What's with the gloves by the way???

idk what it was

1st if all it was horrible. started watching for the hot cast and finished it for the same reason. i was hoping it'd not take the typical plot twist but guess what. the lead actors hardly had scenes tgr. most of them was of the mainlead w his past lover. the chemistry betn the leads was amazing tho hope to see them in a better series. the storyline sucked. many of the things did not make sense and it was overall very confusing.
someone said it gives manner of death + kinnporshe vibes so i was excited to watch but it was honestly disappointing. the actors & the cinematography was great the only prblm was the bad storyline

Pense numa decepção

Eu não tenho nem como descrever minha decepção com essa série... uma série aguardada, com um grande investimento, um elenco de peso e muita qualidade de som e imagem, fotografia, sonoplastia e filmografia impecáveis, ost linda, onde foi que pecaram?
O roteiro simplesmente é um dos piores que já vi! Nada nessa série faz sentido, ou melhor, algumas coisas até fazem, mas faltam as explicações, os buracos são enormes, terminamos sem entender praticamente nada do que estava acontecendo e do que aconteceu, e ainda por cima jogaram na nossa cara um final aberto. Plds!

A expectativa era de que, no mínimo, houvesse um EP especial explicando o que os 10 EPS não explicaram, e até foi anunciado um, mas depois a produtora cancelou, ou adiou, não entendi bem, o fato é que já faz meses que acabou e não tivemos mais notícias.

Enfim, eu me senti uma palhaça depois do final, sinceramente, não pretendo ver de novo, e se vc vai assistir é bom ir sabendo que ela vai te dar um nó na cabeça e não vai nem te ajudar a desatar. A série é confusa, fica mais confusa a cada EP, os buracos são gigantes, enfim, assista se quiser, mas não é uma série boa.

it was interesting

At the beggining I didn`t like Chains of heart, but later my opinion changed and surely I will rewatch it. At first sight I really liked Lue, but I`m dissapointed that he is Din. I was sure that Din isn`t dead, there were hints that Lue is Din, but I didn`t believe. Another dissapointment is the final episode. I hoped that Lue and Ken stayed together. This series didn`t show many romantic scenes, but the scene with Ken and Lue was hot. I really liked Boom`s role in this series, for me he is good actor and I will be happy to see him pair with Haii once again.
It was intrerested at all. I wanted to give 9 stars, but thanks to the final episode, I gave it 8.

Now a fan of Boom

I agree with most of what’s been said in regards to the writing and plot. There are tons of holes and not the best explanation. The audience I feel already knew everything from the get go in regards to the Peter/Din situation. Peter (Lau) was Batman if it with his quick changes in wardrobe. I do agree that the cinematography was pretty good as well. It was entertaining enough to hold me through the entire thing. If I’m being completely honest though what kept me around was the question of when Ken would finally catch up and 100% I kept coming back for Boom. I had no idea who he was. Now i’m a huge fan. Give me more Boom.
