Am I the only one who just don't understand this show? There were so many questions after season one but I still don't get it. :')) I get that HJW left SJ because he felt lonely and..maybe like a burden? Because he had no friends and SJ so many? But all the dialogues about this with him or with his ex gf I just don't get lmao. Just more questions for me. T_T

Ji Woo is a selfish, self centered assh*le…

Ji Woo is a selfish, self centered assh*le - maybe if he was crying tears of blood, painful tears at that, would care - i lie ( ˘︹˘ ) i wouldn't. he's despicable, the only person he has ever thought about was himself, ironic he keeps calling Seo Joon a narcissist. from the 1st season he was cold, distant n rude but Seo Joon was the one who invaded his space/house n life, without a heads-up so automatically everyone took Ji Woo's side. we wanted Seo Joon to prove he's not playing with a shy introverts heart. >﹏<***********************************************************************************************************************************but until the end, even after Seo Joon proved he wasn't a player, that his feelings were true - Ji Woo ruthlessly pushed him away n we accepted it. cause we thought he was being considerate of Seo Joon n his celebrity. so we cheered when Seo Joon was the one, that kept reaching out n doing the heavy lifting, to make them a couple. (ノω<。)ノ*************************************************************************************************************************************************************************but after this season i think Ji Woo was always an egotistical, conceited assh*le that could never really love another - not as much as he loved himself (╬▔皿▔)╯. n just cause Seo Joon is so much better (an individual) then him, he had to hurt him (cut him down to size), but it wasn't enough to just hurt him, he wanted him to suffer n be in constant pain (* ̄︿ ̄) ****************all this after him knowing about his parents abandoning him, knowing about his PTSD, his inability to trust anyone cause they were all ready to sell him out - how lonely he truly was. *****************************************************************************all this didn't make his heartache for Seo Joon, no compassion to be found, n i'm supposed to feel sorry for this b*tch?!? (ノ`Д)ノ i should want him to realize he made a mistake, n go search Seo Joon. or worse that Seo Joon comes back hat in hand, begging for one last chance - really?!? ***********************************************************************************************there is nothing redeemable about Ji Woo, he the worse type of person to be in a relationship with, cause he's insecure, he won't try to better himself, he WILL want to make others life more miserable then his own. then he will be happy. he an abuser n if he get's back with Seo Joon this will be an abusive, toxic relationship - who thought this plot is worth writing? just cause relationships like these exist in real life, doesn't make it ok - this sick!

It's Not What You Think

This seems to be so obvious to me that I'm surprised nobody else is picking up on it. Maybe it's because I have personal experience with lot of this.

There 's a big fat clue in the details section of the MDL entry on this: "Mental Health."

I'm sure that people reading that, at least judging from a lot of the comments, think it relates to KSJ and his issues, but the real mental basked case here is HJW, who is a laundry list of obvious disorders. So let's list them.

1. Most prominent is how deep into the autism spectrum he obviously is.

2. Next is his debilitating introversion.

3. Then come lifelong depression, anxiety syndrome, and self-destructive anger issues.

4. Add a soupcon of adhd to account for the bouts of impulsiveness, and his hyperfocus on a solitary (natch) skill, cooking.

What I just wrote explains just about everything KJW has done through both seasons, as well as all his past-life flashbacks.

KJW is stuck inside his own brain and he can't get out, can't save himself, and is slowly destroying himself because of that.

Four Stars

After 6 episodes of depicting KSJ as a person with a broken heart whose loved one disapeared, trashing into oblivion what was a relationship of one year, Without a word, without a fight, Without a conversation, just a post-it. That was how HJW valued the yime they spent together, and shows little to no respect for their love. After episode 6, antecipating futile justifications by the writers to validate HJW actions in the subsequent episodes I wrote: 'Whatever they do after this will be just to make up for this. They showed us just one side of their story (KSJ) with all that flashbacks but honestly I don’t really care to see HJW side because what he said (and did’t) in this episode is not possible to be understood regardless of what happened in the past. A person who loves does not do this.' After episode 8 I can only stand by my review. My heart cries for HJW, it really does because he's hurting, but I can not honestly say that I really comprehend the reasoning behind his actions. He must talk, however he can, he must be honest and open his heart without his head blocking what he really means and want to say. Honesty with ourselfs and others buys us years of life! But I must point out that KSJ needs a man who stands with him, who loves him, who can share his thoughts with him about their love, their life, their happiness or troubles and problems. Someone who can fullfill his own career and be next to KSJ and cheer his achievements and sucess. This someone is clearly not HJW.

Ta-Dah!!!

From start of the season I slowly started scolding Ji Woo after every episode until episode 7 and then this episode clarified everything. Bravo Director-nim!!! My heart also broke for the ex-gf but I admire her for being strong and setting aside her competitiveness for Ji Woo. I love how this story evolved but sad that it’ll be ending soon. season 3 please?

What if SJ was a woman, and the day JW left SJ found out she was pregnant

Well, JW definitely has reasons and issues but it doesn't mean he can treat SJ that way. JW plays very dangerous unhealthy and mind games here which can destroy a person's life and career. SJ is not perfect, but if he lets somebody like JW in, then he doesn't learn his lesson since it can make him end up badly. I still consistently think that they cannot be together. From 1-8, we know JW loves SJ but it seems SJ is not what he wants and needs in the future. SJ loves JW, but JW clearly is not what SJ needs to build a future together. Some loves from different worlds are solid and can work together, some are not. Different people from different worlds can be only together healthy if they communicate any of their issues thoroughly; otherwise, somebody has to give something which won't end up well. For example, SJ gives up his acting career so JW won't feel lonely; or JW needs to give up his cooking so he can be together with SJ. Issues like this must be solved by discussing with the loved one so nobody has to give up anything and still be themselves enjoying their own passion world. JW chooses an easy exit from this very difficult issue by ghosting SJ after one year of living together. No, that's nasty. If SJ was a woman, and the day JW left SJ found out she was pregnant. A year after that, SJ had the baby alone without JW. I didn't think anyone would forgive JW with his countryside restaurant if that was the case.

Ji Woo's inner thoughts

I just badly want them to be together. The eight episodes were tremendously painful to take. I love both of them and I don't want any more sadness and loneliness lingering around them. This season was absolutely a sad one yet I can't help but to keep rewatching it. The love I have for Kang Seo Jun and Han Ji Woo is as bright as the stars.

GOOD EPISODE

This episode directly compliments the title of this drama “Our Untold Stories” because everything is being revealed to us at once, the way KSJ can understand HJW and see right through him. HJW admits he escapes to revert to his own self without KSJ, back to when he could live without KSJ’s existence affecting the way he feels and the way he chooses to lead his life—but then he admits that escaping was foolish and even goes back to see memories and the old phone he turned off. KSJ’s questions that kept coming made the scene so intense! We can see the amount of effort KSJ has put in to reach HJW, texting him on Christmas Eve, Christmas, his birthday, etc. This episode was SO impactful! CAN I JUST SAY THE ACTING IS SUPERB? The tears that fell from HJW’s face.. THAT WAS a WORK OF ART. Amazing acting, completely believed every moment of it.Moreover, the plot twist of TB CEO’s honey being the lady who gave her chocolate milk/the old reporter (Lee Yoon Seul or something)last time is amazing! What a realistic twist to the story! Loved it. 10/10 for me!
