Both feature Sakai Masato as a main character who seeks justice by exposing crimes.

They are both a 'Business Drama'. While Hanzawa Naoki drama were seeking revenge, the other one was seeking for glory. But I could say that 'Fumo Chitai' has a depth mission/goal and much more heavy task that at the end, you'll cry your tears out..however, Hanzawa Naoki is enjoyable to watch with some plot twist going on with the game of "Sink or Swim" in it.

They're both depicting the corruption of the higher ups and power struggle that devours the humanity. They are both drawing the viewers attention with its consistent script writing and the abilities of the actors. However, The Great White Tower is a much heavy drama and has a broad concept that will leaves you with deep impressions while the other one with Sakai Masato, you'll enjoy the ravage between the characters, tackling the hidden agenda, and etc.

Both are adapted from Jun Ikeido novels. Though the leads are very different people (Hanzawa is an intense and almost samurai-like banker, Akamatsu a gentle yet steadfast everyman) each is pitted against the financial equivalent of Goliath. Conflicts of both dramas share a common theme and atmosphere, though Soratobu Taiya lends itself more to gray motivation and sentimentality. The promotional artwork is nearly the same, too.

Both talk about corruption that intervenes banks and individuals with power. However, though I like Hanzawa so much, prefer Big Money! because the little humor here and there and the involvement of drama within.

You got Shirato in Big Money! who is a complete fool at the beginning, but when a certain man hires him to be his apprentice in destroying a certain bank, he changes and show talent and passion. Similarly you got Hanzawa who is just almost the same. The difference is that the hero is outside the bank dealing with stocks, while in Hanzawa Naoki he is an actual manager who tries hard to climb higher.

If you are looking for a well-executed business world revenge plot similar to the one found in Miss Devil, Hanzawa Naoki is the drama for you. Both dramas feature protagonists who are out to find the perpetrators of their childhood family traumas. The only difference is that Hanzawa Naoki has an extremely well-written story line; the show is so fast-paced you can easily binge the series without getting bored. Hanzawa Naoki also takes place at a bank and not an insurance company, but the atmosphere feels the same. Please give it a watch, it's one of the highest rated Japanese dramas of the decade.

Both are adaptation of Ikedo Jun's story about Idealistic Banker who wants to "reform" the bank. The main difference is that Hanzawa Naoki is a suspense and have a big plot while Hanazaki Mai is a episodic drama with slight comedy.

These two sounds so similar in terms of plot settings except for the line of work both deal with smart male leads who want to fight against workplace corruption and a whole lot of related consequences
Recomandat de Junkiewatcher
Both dramas follow the tale of protagonists who dedicate their life (aka career) to taking down a criminal who wronged them during childhood. Very fast paced and entertaining!

Hanzawa Naoki is set in the banking industry but the story is intense, shocking, and exciting to the very last episode just like Ouroboros. There isn't as much physical action mainly because Ikuo and Tatsuya were at actual crime scenes most of the time, but I believe anyone can enjoy Hanzawa Naoki's story.
