Future we see might just be our wilful imagination
Seo Ji Hye has been unlucky in her last 2 KDramas :CLOY - Not satisfactory ending for her and second ML
Dinner Mate - A show with good start went downhill completely in last quarter
This one looks to be good show so far. The character played by her matches her inherent quirkiness. I sincerely wish this drama to succeed.
Kiss Sixth Sense is an aggregation of various genres - comedy, romance, supernatural, corporate life. So far they have meshed them together well. Hong Ye Sul is a successful office worker. She has been working with her mentor Cha Min Hoo for 5 years. HYS has ability to see future events of the person she kisses. This fact has prevented her from being a long term relationship with anyone. All is going well, when she accidentally kisses CMH and sees them together intimately in bed. This will on which story progresses.
As I said before they are trying to mix multiple genres together. Let's hope they do it well. OST is good, though I feel some sort of receptiveness and primitive quality in it.
Coming to some people's complaints regarding ML is falling short in looks department. I would argue with point. ML is 43+ actor. He is playing this 30+ role pretty well. One more problem I see in comment is related to cinematography. I've seen 200+ KDramas. If I've to rank its cinematography, it will definitely be in top 20 with respect to first 2 episodes.
Till episode 6 story was going in predictable direction, a bit monotonous too. Episode 7, 8 abruptly (in a good way), escalated the tension. To people who criticised FL on her seemingly impulsive behaviour: she suddenly comes to know that though her memories represent future, the underlying canvas on those memories is a figment of her own feelings and insecurities. Hence, she is troubled, hence, indecisive.
Please watch this you are interested in rom-com with a bit of supernatural element.

Another average tropey Kdrama
I had read the webtoon which was as decent and I was keen to watch because of the leads . Yoon Skye Sang was superb in Chocolate and I liked Seo Ji Hye In Crash Landing on You.Story: The main leads of the story both have special abilities - I mean only a Kdrama can come up with these abilities - how they end up getting them and how they lose them. Office romance with childhood destiny trope and fantasy element.
Cast/ Acting: I stuck till the end only cause of the delightful chemistry between the two leads but I was quite disappointed with how the relationship post the loss of their special abilities was shown. Why do KDramas make 30+ year old couples behave like teenagers once they are in a relationship I do not know. They show the perfect slow burn and then ruin it by childish gimmicks - this was my gripe with HomCha too. Especially when there are excellent actors essaying these roles. Yoon Kye Sang and Seo Ji Hye both are superb in their roles. good looking and have great chemistry. I didn’t care about rest of the cast and ended up skipping most of the sub-plots. Like in the webtoon , here too I felt the second male lead as the ex-boyfriend suffered a break-up for no fault of his own. Though the actor was good and I liked his arc better in the drama than the webtoon. I’m not a fan of love triangles so I’m glad he found his own happiness even though the second female lead was irritating as hell.
Music: Nothing really memorable, no song really stuck with me,
Overall : If you like the leads, watch for their chemistry alone. From a story perspective it is quite illogical as any other fantasy drama and super tropey.

Short Sweet Stereotypical Story
To start, this drama is a little cliche. Women has ability to predict the future. Man has super sensitive senses. They met as children. Lost memories. Workplace romance.I loved how misunderstandings were not the big point of the story (at least not until the later episodes).
The Main Couple have good chemistry. The kiss scenes were on point.
As for the second couple, I skipped every single scene they were in. I hated how clingy the SFL was. Like, he told u that he wasn't into you, so leave him alone??? Do boundaries not exist?? Why force a kiss on him and put him in such serious danger? I just really think she was a flawed character with the way she was so in love with him and then suddenly falls in love with FML ex. Also, the way she confessed love for SML in front of the entire world. While it seemed nice and endearing of her love, once again the boundaries.
As for FML ex boyfriend and her, they had no chemistry. I found their interactions quite stiff. Maybe it was supposed to be, since it was a "reminiscent" of their past love. But even then, it was portrayed as if he was so in love with her, and she was supposed to like him "a little," but that wasn't apparent.
I would also like to mention that the FML actions are very annoying sometimes. For example, when she finds out that he will be stabbed, she tries everything in her power to leave him alone, entering danger alone. She knows very well that she cannot change the future. However, she is still trying to fight it, and him, putting them in more danger. This irritated me more than just a little. She was logical about her future seeing powers, that they were always true, meant that she should break up with her boyfriend, all up to the point where it mattered the most.
Additionally, the whole fantasy aspect was very questionable. I get that it is fantasy, but please be more explanatory. I believe it was implied that they got their powers from the full moon? Not sure how that happened.
The ending was okay I guess. I liked that they were fighting, but it got annoying after a while about how petty they were being. Would have liked a few more sweet moments.

LOLLLLL!!??!??!?!
I know it's Webtoon so i tolerate the fiction aspect in it. It's started very interesting and promising, the poster is beautiful, the cast, the ost, everything. I almost gave it 8.5! Especially i lovedd So Ji Hye so so much since CLOY! And the ML oh my, Cha MinHu breath "charisma"But then the FL character building is not growing and it's disturbing for me, kinda cliché, trying so bad to solved the problem but actually end up fuck it up.
BUT, THE HIGHLIGHT IS, THE LAST 2 EPOSODE, ESPECIALLY THE ENDING GOT ME IRONICALLY LAUGHING HAHAHHAHAHA LOL WKWKKWKWKWK
Wth is going on they end up toxic, i know there's no perfection but it wents off for me like.. it's not matching the vibes from the beginning. I cannot ?????
And yes, the FL di Pil Ho dirty, so at least he deserved that sweet romance plot twist~~
That's it, and if you guys trying to found something light to binge-watch you can try this drama, but trust me don't put too high expectations. I know the first 3 or 4 episodes makes you trust this drama so much eitss but just dont, d.o.n.t.! take it easy, you're here to laugh and a lil bit confused or maybe mad~

Unexpectedly refreshing and sweet
Tbh, I started to watch this drama out of curiosity. The only main cast that I knew was the FL from CLOY. I kinda confused who was the ML. Not your typical Kdrama prince but trust me, wait and you'll fall in love with his character. Although some people commented that he is old, but this is really the most realistic character. A boss who is strict at the office, criticizes you wat every chance he gets, and at the right age to be at that position. The ML played the character well, I like his acting. The FL is beautiful, and if she polished her face reaction and body language more, she will be even more successful after this drama. The story line is really my style. Mysterious and romantic. I recommend this for a feel good romance drama.Considerați utilă această recenzie?
Too blend for me
Hmm... I don't really know how to even comment on this drama. The plot feels very 2013-like. A competent office-worker who can see the future when she kisses people, and her cold but very smart boss who actually suffers from over sensitive senses and childhood trauma ... I would end this sentence with "and obviously they fall in love" but it didn't even feel like they did.
The cast was originally very good, yet somehow in this drama, I wasn't very impressed with their performances. I don't know if the characters were difficult to bring to life or if the directing was lacking but everything just felt artifical.
I think one of the main problem is the lack of character development. I know that 12 episodes is short but I found it quite weird how easing into a relationship didn't change any of the leads' behavior.
The ML is tragically stoic all along but not in a natural way, more in a kdrama dramatic way.
Some people are introverts and blunt and come off as cold and I would empathize with that, but in this role, the ML just looked like he didn't have any emotion at all most of the time. He would say sweet things to the FL towards the end but I could not sense the sweetness and love or chemistry through the screen.
The FL and her ability do raise the interesting question: do we trigger our own fate or in the contrary, are we simply unable to escape it no matter our course of action ? But because they didn't try to make this show a philosophical piece, that question isn't fully exploited by the script.
But again, main problem is : lack of chemistry. Even lots of physical contact cannot fix that. I know they were trying to portray a more mature relationship, less fluff, and I actually really like that angle, I usually prefer more realistic portrayals. But no matter how mature the script is, love still has to pull the heartstrings somehow, even through the most stern parts of it sometimes, such as mutual respect and understanding. Yet, I didn't feel anything.
The second lead is also a very overseen version of the desperate ex boyfriend for a number of episodes. He lacked originality or deepness of character in my opinion.
And then the mystery subplot which was teased throughout the drama but left aside to develop the romance, actually really kicks in the last two episodes, which felt quite rushed.
There's a lot of things in this drama that don't work for me : the plot, the emotions or lack if it, the acting ...
It's not tragically bad but there's nothing to be excited about.

What if there were Drama Bars like Sports Bars but for drama fans?
There may not be a large cross section of rabid professional sports fans and diehard Korean drama fans so this metaphor may not work. But for those that haven’t, imagine being in a sports bar with the vast array of screens, each showing different sporting events. This one has baseball. That one has MMA. Over there is basketball. And viewers are trying to assimilate all of them at once. All of them have a common element of athletic competition but there’s different objectives and strategies and rules.Watching “Kiss Sixth Sense” is somewhat like this somewhat disorienting, many-things-happening-at-once where there’s some commonality but no synchronicity.
The only interpretation of how and why the pieces of “Kiss Sixth Sense” don’t sync up is that each character and actor seem to be acting in a different genre of drama. It’s like if multiple users across the planet on Tik Tok dueted the same script but each had a unique take and approach and someone spliced them all together into twelve episodes of hour long Korean drama television. It sounds like a viable plan for a social media account, but how did it go for this program? Let’s break it down by cast member and character…
Hwang Bo Ra as Um Ji: Genre - slapstick comedy. Does it work? Intermittently, as the character is a minor character and there are occasions where the show has gone into a more manic comic mode for a few moments. When it works, however, it only works in the immediate context of that particular scene and not within the show in general.
Kim Ga Eun as Ha Woo - office mockumentary. Does it work? For a few episodes, it’s passable. She’s a little bit of a wild card. But the interesting elements of the character are written out less than halfway through the run and the production staff seemed to realize they didn’t have any plausible direction for the character so she appears less and less. It was probably the right call but a better call would have been to have a compelling direction for the whole subplot to go.
Tae In Ho as Seung Tak - medical dramedy. He’s a part comic, part stock drama character. Does it work? No. The actor can’t muster even mediocre comedy skills and the dramatic parts are so poorly written, which might work for his skills, he doesn’t have even a shred of credible material. As referenced with Ha Woo, storyline was unnecessary and reeks of “We need to fill time and just put anything in there that can eat up 6-8 minutes per episode. We’re desperate. Anything. ANYTHING.”
Lee Joo Yeon as Ji Young - makjang parody. Frankly, this character was so thinly sketched out, that it’s a struggle to identify any characteristic other than coming from a family with money. She’s barely on screen enough to evaluate if it works or not.
Kim Ji Suk as Pil Yo - coming of age melodrama. Does it work? Not even a little and this flop of a performance is almost entirely the fault of the casting office. Kim Ji Suk is a talented actor but he’s not blessed with enormous range. This character is completely outside where his strengths lie. Need a wild and crazy and frenetic and heart on his sleeve kind of guy? Kim Ji Suk will kill that role. But Pil Yo is wistful and emotionally lost and needy and none of these traits are in Kim Ji Suk’s wheelhouse.
Seo Ji Hye as Ye Sul - romantic comedy. This is the singular pairing of cast member and character that works. Seo Ji Hye is dynamite at comedy and while Ye Sul has scenes where she’s serious and dramatic, it’s nothing that Seo Ji Hye can’t handle. With the right context around Ye Sul, she’d be a fine centerpiece of a terrifically entertaining production. Even if there was simply a good scene partner opposite her on a regular basis, “Kiss Sixth Sense” would at least be a worthwhile investment of leisure time. However…
Yoon Kye Sang as Min Hoo - supernatural crime thriller. Does it work? OMG not even close. The character is meant to be a prickly and rough exterior but kind softie on the inside roguish type. The portrayal needs an actor to be able to convincingly transition from the tough boss to kind mentor to brilliant business mind to caring boyfriend. Yoon Kye Sang delivers every line like each word is a railroad spike and he’s swinging a 20 pound sledgehammer looking to bury it in a single strike. Nuance? More like nuclear.
As for other issues, the sound has some glaring editing problems. There’s but a shred of a plot which is to put Min Hoo and Ye Sul together. Once it happens, there’s nowhere to go. The storytelling within each episode is barely stitched together and, over the course of twelve episodes, is completely incoherent. Characters that seem important in early episodes vanish entirely. Or they continue but are entirely different individuals and there’s no explanation why they’ve changed.
It’s getting close to a year since Disney+ ventured into broadcasting Korean dramas. In that time, they’ve distributed only one show (“Snowdrop”) on a wide international basis. As for the quality of their other shows, it’s been far more “miss” than “hit”. This is not to say that the Big Mouse should bail on the genre, but at this point, there’s scant evidence that they had any idea how to approach this market and nothing to indicate that they’ve learned anything since they entered.
Not recommended. But should someone pull the trigger on a Drama Bar so it possible to watch eight different dramas at once? That sounds totes awesome.

Not a typical K drama
A good choice if you need to watch something romantic and not too complicated. I would describe is as the sip of water you need to clear you taste between two wine tastings. The fantasy/supernatural part is mellow, almost believable. The main couple is in their late 30s and the love story is surprisingly mature. Up to the 10th episode it was competing to be one of my favourite dramas with almost 10 out of 10 on everything . It lost with the emotionally unsatisfying ending and weird wrap-up of the murder story…but still worth the time invested in it.The good:
- Awesome acting! Every single character was totally believable.
- Beautifully unfolding story (up to 10th episode), the second and third couple were interesting as well.
- Grown up relationship without stupid misunderstandings.
- Lots of skinship in a good way with true chemistry!
- No dragging stories or melodrama, no childish expectations and NO un supporting parents (I am sick of it).
- No love triangles (the SML and SFL clearly had no chance).
The bad:
- the unsatisfying ending. It is like eating délicieuse food to find a hair in the last bite. Technically it is not a bad ending.
- the murder story….. somehow it missed on the potential and was all unfolded/resolved in one episode.

Could have been good
I don’t know what to think about this drama. It started boring, then became interesting, then very boring again. A story that could have been very interesting but the change of personality of the characters in middle of the drama, the loopholes in the story, the “we know immediately who is the culprit” …. Made me give a 6/10 to this drama. And the ending … what to say about it. Suddenly, male & female leads act out of characters and the drama takes a comical turn. This drama is lacking a lot in its story, which is sad cause it could have been an interested fantasy drama but I feel that it tried to tackle to many genres at once and lost its flow on the way.Considerați utilă această recenzie?

The main leads are very cute but could had a shorter end
It's probably one of the first dramas i watched whitout creating not essencial stuff to have 16 episodes, but i know disney+ dramas have normally 12 eps ,the same was for "one dollar lawyer"I really loved the cast they used ,but i wanted to see more romance between the 2nd couple, they were really so cute and needed more screen time.
About the last episode some things was a bit frustating specially the way they fight ,some things were too forced that even looked like other characters, for me the drama could ended when they went home together. The last scene could was an chance to had another season? I know it was a closed end but i was curious of what she saw and i wanted to watch more of Jiyoung and Pilyo.

"A power of perception beyond the five senses"
First, I know that this is based on a webtoon but I haven't read it so I had no expectations & am reviewing the drama solely on what I watched. Second, while it was airing, some viewers complained about the characters saying they should act mature because they're in their 30s. Being 30 doesn't mean that you suddenly become an expert at relationships or communication. Sure, you may have more experience than someone younger but that's not always the case & it's situational. So, you may not like with characters' actions but I hope it isn't because you're expecting them to act a certain way because of their age. From the start, I thought the premise was interesting - I mean imagine being able to see the future when you kiss someone. It would be sad starting a relationship only to see something that shows you the end. While I wouldn't say I necessarily agreed with Ye Sul's decisions regarding her relationships. I certainly felt her anxiety & understood why she felt her decisions were the best thing for her to do. It's easy for viewers to say she should tell the truth about being able to see the future or that she shouldn't let what she sees decide her future for her. So, I think the drama does a great job in making one question "what would I do if I was Ye Sul?" But, seeing what Ye Sul experienced, it's easy to see why she would keep her ability a secret & why she would trust it completely. One of my favorite moments is when Ye Sul questions the future that she saw because I could feel for her feeling as if everything she knew was a lie. & I liked how that allowed her to reflect on how she wanted to live her life going forward.
Just like Ye Sul, Min Hoo has his own ability & condition that is a secret. He doesn't give the best first impression, & maybe for some it will stay that way until the end, but the episodes show us there's reasons for him behaving the way he does. One thing I will say I wasn't fond of was how he made comments about being jealous. I guess it was supposed to be funny & he was honest about it. It really didn't amount to anything but I just wanted to address that about him. He does cause a slight misunderstanding by not revealing his secret to Ye Sul, though I understand he thought it would make her feel uncomfortable & the writer probably thought it was good to create conflict for the plot. However, the misunderstanding wasn't drawn out for too long.
As the synopsis & tags reveal, there is a love triangle. I don't know if I would call it a love triangle though because Ye Sul never had intentions of dating Pil Yo, even when it seemed as if she was swaying. While I felt bad for the way that things ended between them & they both needed to have a proper conversation for closure, I didn't like how Pil Yo was pressuring her to do so. Lowkey blackmailing her into going on three dates wasn't a good look & I definitely didn't like how he still wanted her to go on dates with him when he knew that she had a boyfriend. He was holding onto the Ye Sul he knew in the past & not the one in front of him now. Of course, I know he was acting the way he was because he felt as if it was the only way to be able to have a conversation with her. Once that conversation is had, he was able to respect her wishes.
Because of Pil Yo's actions after he had the conversation he wanted, he deserved better than to be paired up with Ji Young. I will admit that I don't like the cliché of having characters who were rejected end up together, but she was a brat from the beginning to end. It was sickening the way she treated Min Hoo, especially since she claimed to like him. Like her, Seung Taek was another character who couldn't respect someone's wishes & didn't deserve a happy relationship. Seeing these two respective couples at the end made me a bit bitter as I don't think they were necessary.
I understand that they were trying to continue to show us that relationships have bumps along the way by having Ye Su & Min Hoo argue, which I kind of like the idea of but I didn't like the way it was executed. They could've let us hear one fight scene & the rest be muted. Because of that (& letting us seen the secondary couples), it felt as if we were robbed of sweet moments between them. So, the last episode, especially the later half I think, left me thinking that it could've been better. Aside from the secondary couples & the last episode, I enjoyed everything else & was never bored to see the mystery resolved. The acting was great & a huge reason why I watched this drama. As for the ost, I really liked it (I actually had it on repeat as I wrote this review). Every song suited the mood of its scene/the drama. I especially loved the theme song , Fantasy, which is one of my favorites that I've heard this year. (Suran's vocals are dreamy & perfect for the mystery vibe of the drama.) I hardly rewatch but I wouldn't walk away if someone was watching it & I would encourage others to give it a watch.
