Uau.

Fui assistir pois muitas pessoas falaram que choraram muito e recomendaram esse filme. No começo achei que era bobagem, mas no fim das contas acabei chorando que nem um bebê

O filme é lindo, as cores, a época, os personagens, mas senti que poderiam ter nos dito o motivo da morte do Woonho, pois isso deixou um vazio

Também senti falta de um desenvolvimento maior dos outros personagens, o que aconteceu com todos eles no final das contas? Também ficamos sem saber.

Mas é um filme que me cativou, senti uma vontade enorme de poder viver naquela época e naquela locadora de filmes.

A cena que acabou comigo foi a final, quando a Bo-ra assiste o video do Woonho de 2000, aquilo me fez senti tão mal, como se ele fosse uma pessoa que eu já tinha conhecido há muito tempo.

Enfim, é um lindo filme! Só faltou desenvolvimento dos personagens secundários.

🔸️For two hours I've been watching good actresses playing fake friendship, fake love, and the most unconvincing crying ever. If it's unconvincing, it has to be a comedy, but it's far from that. Even the male characters were hopelessly bland, targeting the female audience. And I know, that this is not the actors' fault but the screenwriter's because in Our Blues Roh YoonSeo had a really great performance.

🔸️Seriously, guys, for how long are you going to make budget-safe and nostalgia-selling movies? I see you were influenced by 25 21, but the screenplay there was originally crafted. 20th Century didn't even bother to shoot a couple of frames on a real film camera.

You can't fake nostalgia. Periodt.

Please don’t watch it if you have a weak heart like me!!!

I cried my heart out and it was something that I never expected. The description should contain some information regarding it turning to a sad movie.. this can’t be a romcom!! They changed everything for me and it was something I didn’t wanted .. I am so upset with the ending.

It could have been a happy ending and I was soooo hoping for it, if not then please give us some hints in the description so that people like me can avoid watching it.

The actors were so good .. their chemistry and acting was top notch no doubt in that.
All togethet if we leave the ending the movie was fantastic but still sad at many points.
If the writers wanted to give a sad ending then they should’ve atleast given us a reason for his death. It was so unfair for the watchers.

I so regret watching it because it made me sad without a warning at a time I didn’t wanted to be moreover I really wanted to watch these actors more and happy..feels like they wasted such a good opportunity :”(
Nevermind we can’t change it now.

It had potential but fell through

Ive watched a fair share of tragic romance movies, and i would say this movie falls under 'mediocre'. I think the acting was solid, but the plot was mediocre and had an unexpected twist that will make you question why it happened in the first place.

Firslty, I couldnt seem to bond with the characters. There seemed to be a lack of proper development for most characters, or even if there was it just felt lackluster. I couldnt emphatise with any of the characters in this film, and its not like there wasnt any chance to empathise with them but i just couldn't feel strongly attached to any of them.

The romance between the two leads was also underwhelming. It was sweet and had potential to be developed even further if they had stuck to the whole first love/crush cliche but it had to end in the most tragic way possible which made me feel that the directors didnt give a chance for the romance to develop at all, and just ended it in the most sloppy way.

Tragic romances dont happen like magic. There's a build up to it -if you want the audience to feel sad for the character you need the audience to become emotionally attached to them. For this to happen, we need more development from this character, a bit more perspective into his/her life. When the ML died, it didnt make me feel sad, it made question why did he have to die. It was sudden and it felt forced.

And the ending where the brother invited her to an exhibition - this was so similiar to the japanese movie, Heavenly Forest. Even the artworks of the exhibition had to do with people - the resemblance was uncanny. But overall , the movie was ok. If you want something to kill time then this movie is for you.

Quieres ver algo que te entretenga, te ponga nostalgico y pro-romantic ? Pues vela, lo vale

La vi solo porque quería pasar el rato, y estaba ambientada en los 90's. No tenía expectativas, pero el como la protagonista comenzó el plan de saberlo todo de ese chico, y lo afincada que estaba me divirtió mucho, hasta la talla del zapato le quiso saber y como se fue construyendo su interés por el chico y la química entre los dos me hizo enternecerme mucho, como: quiero un amor en los 90's tmb! y que suceda sin yo saber
y no tener celulares xD
Fue orgánico, igual que la actuación de todos; también visualmente es hermoso, como están los colores saturados para dar juego a que es otra epoca no sé, me transmitió esa nostalgia aunque fuese un detalle pequeño; y la música está bien, solo que es algo olvidable kjdf pero encaja bien con las escenas,
El final... Es triste, a muchos pudo no gustarle, pero te invito a verla igual, la re sientes y te destroza un poco, pero en totalidad no me arrepiento de haberla visto, y la volvería a ver, como una confort movie

Me prometeram comédia romântica leve me entregaram lágrimas e sofrimento.

Queria muito assistir a uma comédia romântica bem leve, descontraída numa vibe pretendente surpresa então fui até o catálogo e achei esse filme como indicação de romcom em "títulos semelhantes", gostei da sinopse e comecei a assistir. Nossa a vibe no início é muito boa, gosto da estética nostálgica, retrô. Nado nos anos 90 mas teria gostado de ter sido adolescente nessa época. Enfim.. estava fluindo muito bem, sabia que a situação dela ajudando a amiga stalkeando o rapaz que ela gosta traria algum tipo de problema, ela se apaixonando por ele mas.na verdade era o outro até aí eu tinha tudo sob controle, mas o final por deus eu não esperava.. eu realmente achava que eles iriam se reencontrar que a exposição era dele e ele apareceria pedindo desculpas, explicando os motivos do sumiço e eles terminando juntos e felizes. Mas o que eu recebi foi lágrimas, tristeza e sofrimento. Eles não mereciam um final tão triste.
Fiquei com meu coração quente e triste em meu peito, e fiquei uns 30min processando mas no fim eu refleti que todo tempo é precioso que nós sempre precisamos aproveitar e dizer para aqueles que amamos e queremos bem os nossos verdadeiros sentimentos pra que não tenhamos qualquer tipo de arrependimento.

Foi o que tentei tirar disso.

Respect the Audience

When you offer a love story about two really sweet people who take care of others and are devoted to one another, you do not then tack on a deliberately hurtful ending without explaining anything at all. Nothing. We don’t know why it happened. We don’t know why the writer did it almost immediately, and we don’t know why his beloved never tried to find him, ask about him. For so many years……Nothing. Yet the couple the writer and crew taught us to love never would have done that to one another, nor would a good writer have done it to the audience who loved them.

So netflix recommended this film to me as 'warm rom-com', a 'feel good' film

Now I know, that the person who wrote that did not see this movie. It was such a beautiful story, i loved it really... but the ending still pisses me off. Oh no i'm not just heartbroken, I'm angry.

What writer in their right mind thinks it's ok to end a movie like this? To take away my warm cuddly feelings that they've been building for over an hour and just obliterate them. Why?
And shame on Netflix for getting my hopes up. They ought to fire the person who wrote that description.

Other than the ending, i loved it ...

I am crying and I know you are as well...

Watching this movie, was one of the best things I've done in my life. At first I was like, "what could possibly happen and ruin this relationship?", then her friend told her that the one she actually liked was him, Woon-Ho, out of all people. I was shocked.. I didn't think things would turn out like this. I still had hope tho, that Bo-Ra and Woon-Ho will be together in the end and after half an hour in the movie, he's 'gone' (meaning he weant to New Zealand) I was glad they didn't lose contact... for awhile at least.. who would've thought that she won't be hearing, seeing, talking to him, ever again.. who would've thought that meeting at the train stasion, would be the last time they see each other.. After his brother said he was gone, actually GONE this time, I couldn't help but tear up. Why? Why didn't fate want them to be together? Why break my heart and not let them have their 'happily ever after'? (sure it's a movie, but still..) I knew, ofc I knew that things won't go as I wanted them to, I knew that the movie was gonna be sad and that's why I watched it in the first place. But as I did, I totally forgot all about it, about that the movie was a Drama and that it wouldn't have a happy ending. I even thought that people were exaggerating about it being sad (until the last 25 minutes at least). And here I am, writing this review while trying not to cry once again. I won't say that I regreat watching this movie, bc I DEFINETLY don't, even if it'll leave me depressed for the rest of my life, I'll be rewatching it, when I have the need to feel happy, I'll be choosing this movie, over and over again. Well, at least until the last 20 minutes. I loved Woon-Ho's character so freaking much, he was THE STANDARD. And ofc we cannot forget about Bo-Ra, I don't know why, but for some reason she inspires me. She makes me want to become a better version of myself. I loved this movie and I'll always will.

WTF was that ending. I don't go into romcom to have an unhappy ending where the guy dies just before he was about to reunite with our MC and she spends years not knowing about it and resenting him. The contrived misunderstandings with the bffs stopping them from being together were only bearable if it all led to a happy ending! The genre shift came so completely out of nowhere I was just baffled and ended up checked out. It reeks of the romcom that didn't want to be like the other romcoms and just failed at being anything satisfying. Way to ruin the outstanding performances of your amazing, charismatic, and personable cast!
