Very interesting characters but a mediocre plot.
The combination between the two main characters was incredible, the dynamics were very interesting but I think something better could have been done, we also have a really good cast here but I think no one can tell me that we have not seen that plot about corruption dozens of times already. For me it was a disappointment because I think that with such good characters we could have seen something more fun but that was not the case, although I do think that it can be a drama that can be enjoyable for some people but unfortunately not for me due to the number of dramas that I have seen, I always look for something more interesting and original, and this topic of corruption of organizations and people in power always reflects it in the same way, and at the end, we already know what is going to happen.
I would loved to see the leads in a better project .
I wouldn't say that I hate drama, it has good music and good sequences so if you like style stories like these you may enjoy it but if as I said you don't like those predictable plots is not for you.

lets chase the baddies even if it resides inside you
●HOW I CAME TO ITHell LDW had been rolling like the master of bromances for his past few dramas and it just compels me to watch him no matter what.
●FIRST IMPRESSION
When I saw the trailer I expected awesome action and lots of humor and it did serve me exactly that.
●PLOT VIEW
The storyline is optimistic as there is a bad character(Lee Dong Wook) who do bad things and a crazy character(Wi Ha Joon ) who does crazy things but this BAD AND CRAZY combo had a shocking relationship, if not for anyone else I was shocked at least and heartbroken too. I actually hoped if this surprise was revealed later on, but anyways the protagonist chasing the antagonist with a rowdy personality is twice as much fun.
Lead characters are one of the biggest surprises, refreshingly so as this would be the first drama, where a split personality is another person talking to the original person. Because earlier one actor would pull off the role of all the personalities.
The suspects and culprits can be interpreted, and the pacing is good too. In the last few episodes, it feels the story is lost. It has a protagonist and antagonist but then there are some other plotlines of amnesia and childhood connection, Yeah Korean drama world favorite plot which gave LDW a way to recollect his memory. simply saying his split personality existence.
Am actually dissatisfied that it got only 12 episodes sigh. Hope this was a bit longer.
I also remembered "Shin Segi" from 'Kill Me Heal Me' because K reminds me of Segi. His whole presence is very relatable as they are present to protect themselves.
●ACTING/CAST
LDW and WHJ had done a terrific justice to their respective roles. I couldn’t blink my eyes when these two are onscreen. talking about romance it was kept minimal to give the space for bromance rather than romance. I loved the chemistry between these two male leads. K going Krazy for Lee Hui Gyom was so precious.
Boss Yong was my favorite villain of all. She had an evil aura but remained a faithful person until the end.
All the supporting characters were also on spot playing their part without them this amazing show would not have been possible.
●MUSIC
OST’s have picked greatly which higher octave and I love them. “out of my way” is my favorite one amongst all. It gives electrifying energy to my lazy soul.
●REWATCH
That would be an absolute yes. I had so much fun, only if I could erase it from my mind.
●APPRECIATION
The action sequence is well shot. The guns, fights, jumps are superbly captured.
●FAV SCENE
H, I, J, K
Yeah the introduction given by K is my favorite scene.
●RECOMMENDATION
It is for those who love crime-based, action, police, and gangster. This would be one humorous watch.

The Korean 'Ghost Rider?'
ABOUT:Bad and crazy is a Korean action-thriller mystery drama which tells us about " A fantastic journey of a bad and crazy cop in the monstrous world of drug dealers and corruption among the cops"
This drama brings me a refreshing start to 2022. I feel like, With the big bang start, this has brought us a really interesting character, The Korean Ghost rider.
STORY:
Ryu soo Yeol, a bad cop who is lusty towards money and power realises that he has a split personality disorder and his other personality is 'K'.
K is a good yet a crazy guy who can't tolerate injustice anywhere. When Ryu soo Yeol tries to do something bad, K messes up everything what he has done and brings justice to the people.
This is how the journey of bad and crazy starts. There is a character development in Ryu soo yeol which is actually brought by bromantic relationship of those two.
I felt the drama took different turn in both cases, i mean personality shift and in the story...which seemed pretty simple to me... I mean, in the first few episodes you get typical crime solving plot about criminals, but after some time it takes different turn...You would want to know why he has that disorder, right?
That's what you'll get after 7th ep. It answers why and how that character has originated. Which is simply related to his childhood memories that he has forgotten and trying to get em back... It is a bit predictable, but it kept me entertained throughout the drama.
ACTORS:
Kim dong wook plays your crazy cop role and he has lust towards promotion and power like any other greedy guy out there. He has superhero side as well or is it wi ha jun?
anyways with his smart acting skills and handsome and scary face you are going to get really funny and fresh adventure throughout this drama....
Wi ha jun did an excellent job giving Korea a new Ghost rider and making Ryu su yool a good cop. Some of us maight be disappointed cause he didn't get more scenes in 2nd half but it was needed for the story so yeah I guess you'd understand that...i have seen him in other works so he definitely is a good actor.
The other Two actors Han ji eun and Cha hak Yeon did good job with their characters. Personally, I couldn't come to like N. I like him in other works but here I felt like he needs to work more. Or probably because of his character..
Han ji Eun plays as Lee hui Gyeom...cute and feirce.
MUSIC:
Ost is pretty good thinking about the crazy and superhero side and it suits the drama. But I am not really fond of such music so I can't really tell you much about that.
[Re-watch:]
Normally i don't watch dramas and movies twice or more unless they have very intriguing plot or really funny and sweet romantic story...
So I am unlikely to come here again, but it is re-watchable ...
Romance is a very minimalistic part, so you might not be able to get enough of it, yet there is a kiss scene.
[Overall:]
This drama is a real fun, hence I liked it and i think 8.5 is a good rating for this. Go watch, iff you want to start your 2022 freshly. It is not the best drama you'll see but it will leave a good impact on you...so yeah... Go for it....
Thanks for coming here!
Happy watching!

Not quite bad... but is full of craziness!
I recently developed an interst in mystery and crime-solving dramas and was in search for something good. I had been looking forward for Bad and Crazy ever since its news reached my ear. So, I decided to watch it. I was really excited for Lee Dong Wook and Wi Ha Joon's union in Bad and Crazy.Bad and Crazy is a mystry action-thriller drama, directed by Yoo Sun Bong and written by Kim Sae Bom, who also worked together on the drama The Uncanny Counter. The series is third drama collaboration between iQIYI and Studio Dragon, with co-producer Mink Entertainment.
This drama tells us about the events that occur after a crazy person, K, appeared in Ruy Soo Yeol's life. As K interups Ryu Soo Yeol smooth life, everything, for Soo Yeol, suddenly takes a turn for the worse. But, as the story goes on, this interuption of the righteous K in Soo Yeol's life proves to be for the greater good. This drama has four main characters: Ryu Soo Yeol (Lee Dong Wook), K (Wi Ha Joon), Lee Hee Kyum (Han Ji Eun) and Oh Kyung Tae.
Ryu Soo Yeol is a corrupt yet competent police officer, who work in the Anti-Corruption Investigation Division of Munyang Police Agency. He takes up his superior's 'pet' cases and solves them, in the way they want them to be solved, for promotion. This often means overlooking corruptions and injustice. He is also master in getting out of trickey situations. But, his life completely changes after K appears in his life.
K is a righteous but crazy person who just appeared out of the blue. He is crazy whenever he sees injustice. He does everything impulsively, without thinking sbout the consequences. His fists and kicks comes before his words. I quite like him but, I think that his screen time was very less. He was not much in this drama.
Lee Hee Kyum is an officer of the Drug Investigation Unit. Despite her adorable looks, her punches could take you to hell and back. She is somewhat similar to K in some aspects. She is a passionate officer who is always ready to immerse herself into any cases. She never hesitates to arrest a person if he commited a crime, even if he is someone close to her. She is also the ex-girlfriend of Ryu Soo Yeol.
Oh Kyung Tae is a kindest person I have ever seen in my life. Earth would be heaven if such people really exist! He is the youngest officer in the Anti-Corruption Investigation Department. He is warm-hearted and has a strong sense of duty. Eventhough he is a rookie, he does not miss a single clue when he investigates a case and never stand back while doing a dangerous task, even if it means hurting himself. He is my favourite character in this drama.
The only strength of this drama is its main cast. Bad and Crazy is a character-driven drama, which focuses on the inner conflict between characters. So, the actors must do an exceptional job to make such dramas a success. I have been a fan of both Lee Dong Wook and Wi Ja Hoon ever since they first caught my eyes in Goblin and Squid Game respectively. As usual, they have nailed their character perfectly in this drama too. I wasn't familiar with Han Ji Eun and N but, they too did an impressive performance.
And as far as the supporting actors are concerned, they did a pretty well job. . My favourite villian in this drama is the ones of the drug organisation. They had the perfect look and guesture a villian should have. But, I'm quite disappointed with the main villian (it's a secret). He acting was nice, but, not quite evil as much as a villian should. Also, there were many child actors in this drama and all of them did a remarkable job.
Though, the drama didn't catch me in the beginning, it got better (except for the villian). It slowly changed from a normal crime-solving drama to a psychological crime-thriller. I cannot say that the plot or the characters are well-written. It could have been better. There are many loopholes in both in plot and main chacracters. But, the way the story unfolds is exceptional.
I watched this drama for the cast and the synopsis was interesting too. But, the actual drama is just meh. I'm confused about this drama. I like it but can't. This drama is enjoyable in some aspects but, I doubt if this would be a exiting watch.

Bad(ly paced story) and Crazy (good comedy and action).
As long as you put your brain on the shelf while watching, you will enjoy it a lot. The portrayal of DID makes no sense, the villain´s skills are so good, they seem magical as they have no grounds in reality, the plot has a number of plot holes, but oh boy, it was an entertaining ride.Bad and Crazy presents a rather basic story with predictable plots and twists. What saves it are the characters, comedy and the action. The dynamics between Soo Yeol and K are pure entertainment, delivering the laughs and emotional depth I appreciated a lot. Kim Hi Eo Ra and Won Hyun Joon also delivered a solid performance as Russian-Korean drug gang leaders, making me, and other viewers care for them, and wish them at least a bittersweet ending, even taking into consideration their evil deeds.
Sadly, the plot just does not connect. First and second half feel like completely different shows, shifting from an action comedy to a mystery thriller. Plots and characters were gone for a good few episodes, just to bring them back later on, as if it does not create pacing and continuation issues.
The last two episodes serve as a rather mediocre conclusion to the plot. Everything happened too fast with not enough explanation. They dropped all the information on me and I was supposed to just accept it without asking any questions. The moment you start asking , you see how the whole plot crumbles.
About the bad guys - the corrupted, the business duo, the magician. Out of them all, only the Russian drug dealers that were focused on their business and making money were realistic, interesting and made me curious to know more about their past, goals, reasons and motivations. The rest was either predictable and full of cliche or borderline supernatural making it unrealistic.
Performance wise, Wi Ha Joon stole the show. K was the heart, soul and the driving force behind the drama. I laughed, I cried, I fell in love - all thanks to his portrayal. That said, the whole cast did a stellar job with their acting and delivery. I truly could not think of one example of even mediocre acting. With such a cast, it’s not surprising.
The soundtrack just paved the way and got me excited at all the right moments. Not surprisingly, tvN delivered in terms of production value. I especially loved the long corridor shots that represented Ryu Soo Yeol’s consciousness.
Overall, the comedy, K and Boss Yong were the elements I truly loved and appreciated the most. Would recommend it as a fun and entertaining watch. Even if you won’t get absorbed into the plot, you will most likely appreciate the comedy and the action.

Fun Action
Lee Dong Wook makes me fall in love with him all over again in this quirky, funny, action packed series. It was nice watching something I didn't get bored with and the fact this isn't a very common, cliché or overused theme/plot made it better to keep me reeled in. Luckily, it doesn't have too many plot twists, which is always enjoyable lol I love something that keeps me guessing but when it becomes repetitive I lose interest, and that didn't happen here. "K" obviously brings the comedy and honestly most of the action. It's literally a good cop bad cop split personality joy ride! The ending was so satisfying and there's villains you're gonna love to hate. I'd recommend to anyone wanting some comedic relief with a side of kicks to the face.Enjoy...

Guys....Guys.....This was FREAKING BAD, HOT & CRAZZYYYY!
This review contains very mild spoilers!Hello blushing sweeties!
From bad→ evil→ crazy→ good- justice is done. The character transformation is freaking (sooo) good. Starting from Ep 1, the scenes have been fiercely portrayed especially the introduction of ‘Ryu Su Yeol’, ‘Lee Hui Gyeom’, ‘O Gyeong Tae’ and ‘K’ characters. The comic scenes and dialogues that jumped out of the blue frequently; engaged the viewers made them more attentive. As you watch, you might notice even the tone of speaking is very interesting. The fight scenes were exceedingly serious and manly. They were brilliantly designed and directed. At some times, you might even question ‘Why so extreme?’. But this is the specialty of this drama everything starting from beginning to end is extreeeeemeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!
The acting in this drama was sky level. All the actors ranging from main roles to support roles to bit roles delivered their best acting, emotions and were given equal importance. From closeup scenes that literally brought the charm of the actors to the vigorous and extraordinary fight scenes that made you jump out of your chair and gave you goosebumps; the direction too is praiseworthy. 90% of the scenes were whistle-worthy. They were spectacularly convincing even though some situations and scenes were exaggerated. Yes, there was exaggeration throughout that helped this drama to become ‘The Superhero Drama’. (In short, the exaggeration was digestible, hehe)
Ryu Su Yeol (Lee Dong Wook), a cop in the Anti-corruption department, who literally sucks up to his seniors and the rich for his own benefits; had a change of heart when he realized the existence of his alter ego ‘K’ (Wi Ha Joon) who forced him to give up his habit of sucking up and encouraged to live a more diligent and honest life. This transformation was inculcated in the first 6 episodes with the help of ‘the Drug Mafia plot’. The first 6 episodes show how Ryu Su Yeol goes about deeply investigating and disclosing the dirty business of the drug mafia gang.
But did you really think the drama plot is all about the drug mafia? NO, NO.
When you really start feeling, “Oh, here we go again! Another drug mafia plot”, BOOM! Gas Lighting- the drama’s second plot kicks in. And that’s when the x-factor comes in. I would say it’s solely because of this change in plot, this drama becomes one of the most entertaining, intriguing, psychologically thrilling, special, and unique. You might really end up thinking that the villains disclosed in the first 6 episodes are the top villains of the drama and wonder ‘what’s next?’. But NO, NO. Here too, the drama was successful in confusing you.
The top villain of this drama is Jeong Yun Ho (Jeong Seong II). His character rose in the rest of the 6 episodes. He turned the drama upside down and took the story on an unexpected path. His character was responsible to divide the plot into 2. The first half is an enthralling chase behind the villains to end the corruption and the drug business. The second half is surviving against the dirty techniques of gaslighting and a psychological fight between the truth and the lie.
The drama was very successful in throwing light on a (very) much-needed topic ‘Gas Lighting’. Many youngsters and adults these days have become preys of gas lighters, never knowing how to get out of the situation or couldn’t even muster up the courage to seek help. This drama helps the viewers to understand the techniques that a gaslighter can use to approach a person and the psychopathic nature of a gaslighter.
A mentally strong person cannot be gaslighted no matter what out-of-the-world techniques a gas lighter applies. And a persistent gas lighter will try a zillion ways to gaslight his/ her prey. This psychopath will never give up (even if his life is on the line) unless and until you arrest him and put him in an asylum. Does this really happen at the end of the drama? You need to watch it to know it!
Honestly, the gaslighting scenes in the ending episodes were so scary that it really sends a chill down the spine. It proves that human beings are much scarier than ghosts. Jeong Yun Ho acted so well that it really frightens and shakes you up.
As you watch, you can literally feel the loopholes in the plot. Or lemme call them wormholes, because they were tiny as a worm; which I feel were absolutely necessary. Why because, if everything is portrayed ‘too real’ how are the scriptwriters supposed to deliver the gigantism, the heroism, the x-factor of the plot? You see, in reality, all these extraordinary scenes are any which way not possible. So, a drama or a work of fiction should at least have them, right?
The bromance between Ryu Su Yeol and K is worth watching. Their journey from violent enemies (extremely violent) to becoming soft-hearted soul mates who cannot live without each other, melts your heart. The bromance between Yang Jae Seon and O Gyeong Tae is very different from the former. It gives cute couple vibes, hehe.
Bad and Crazy is phenomenal and definitely INSANE. There is a lot of hard work put in to bring out the scenes super interesting, super comic, super fun, and super bromantic. The production, the cast (perfectly casted), the acting, the bromance, the romance, the OST (such great songs which are super rock, must-listen), the background music, the effects, the color palette (the reds, the blacks, the neons, and cyberpunk colors that screamed craziness), the styling, (especially) the action (wowww!) were on point.
Definitely a must (must) watch as it will keep you hooked and entertained throughout! I will rate this drama a total of 9 and would give an 8 for its rewatch value.
Thank you for reading this review.
Have a good day/night!

Battle of Lunatics
So the drama is about the corrupt detective Soo Yeol, whose bad actions start to get interrupted by the mysterious "K", who is righteous and calls himself a hero, thus bringing trouble to our ML Soo Yeol. Soon he, and the audience, finds out that K is Soo Yeols alter ego/2nd personality. It's a fictional crime-action drama, close to fantasy, with lots of fun! :)The best thing about this drama were the Main Leads! The interactions and chemistry between Lee Dong Wook and Wi Ha Joon were awesome. They are both great actors and fit very well together. In my humble opinion, roles like these are Lee Dong Wook's true calling, I tell ya. He's the hottest when he's crazy. ;)
The first half of the drama felt like a very long introduction. There was this one big drug case going on throughout the first half, which didn't seem like anything impressive or new. It seemed like the drug case was merely the stage for our both MLs performances, which I enjoyed watching a lot, of course. Well, surely everything going on was related somehow tho, but still.
Only the second half of the drama gave way for the main event: ML and his DID, his background story, and his enemy. This was really interesting! The scenes with K and Soo Yeol together were the best. They were fun, dynamic, interesting, crazy and exciting. I loved them A LOT! ❤️
What I disliked was the small bit parts of romance here. It felt super random. In dramas like this one, I actually prefer there not being any romance. Also, the truth is: I prefer Yong's character traits over Gyum's. xD
To sum it up, I enjoyed it a lot. The duration nagged me a bit. The first half felt a little lengthy, but the second half totally hooked me with our MLs story. Overall, it was a nice drama! (๑˃ᴗ˂)ﻭ

Despite the flaws, it’s entertaining and has memorable characters.
Soo Yeol, the ambitious policeman often cheats in his cases over justice, in favor for his promotion. When a mysterious crazy man entered his life, these two boys join forcesBad and Crazy is a very funny and gruesome crime thriller, with a sprinkle of personality disorder trope. Also, It is violent. I mentioned it firsthand, in case it’s a trigger for you as it was for me during my experience while watching it. I wasn’t a fan of the character introductions and set up. It start quite bad but also crazy. A lot of scenes were thrown together with loud rock music, as if they’re telling me how to feel. I still want to watch further because I heard some friends are gushing about this drama, and I have faith in Lee Dong Wook from his past works. Himself alone is enough to intrigue my curiosity to push through.
However, I wasn’t excited about the story throughout. It deals with the stereotypical “Hero uncovers mystery from his own past" issue. A lot of twists require suspense of disbelief, while few things were left unexplained. The best part about this drama is the acting and the dynamics between our two male leads. I enjoy their bromance, I am laughing the whole time seeing their slap-sticky comedy. Their first and last scenes together are surprisingly emotional, they’ve given me a lot of feelings. This is one of the rare drama which shows good character development despite its’ shortcomings. I don't regret watching it at all

It's Good But Not Fantastic
It started out really good, actually. The first 3 episodes are the best. Sadly, the character that I thought would be a potential antagonist ended up losing so quickly — a little bit rushed. I don’t really like the mid of the drama, the antagonist was so-so but it took longer to bring them down compared to the potential antagonist. Near the end, it suddenly became very psychological (even though I donʼt really like how it delivered). And it was so 'everything-is-about-main-character' thingy which Iʼm not a big fan of it. The ending was pretty good, better than I thought after watched the drama but not as good as I expected when I first started.Despite the quality decrease of the plot, itʼs really refreshing to see Ryu and K interaction. Even though itʼs more like 'mediocre and funny' than 'bad and crazy'.
Sadly, I noticed that Lee Dong Wookʼs acting (or is it because of the cringe plot or the weird angle? or probably because of his character?) is a bit disappointing. At some point, the actor who played the younger version of LDW's character had delivered a better act than him.
I think this drama deserves 8/10 for the first 3 episodes (if it wasn't too rushed, I believe it deserves 9/10) and 6/10 for the rest.

A WELL MADE FAST PACED ACTION DRAMA!!!!!
Just completed watching all 12 eps and IT WAS AMAZING.....where should I start , Lee Dong Wook and Wi Ha Joon both nailed their roles perfectly and their bromance is everything. It had an high speed lively start and even tho the plot was usual one ( apart from the split personality part) the lead actors single handedly carried the whole show. It was a good idea that they made it into a 12 ep drama and the final ep is a MASTERPIECE. For me, it has been a beautifully emotional ride and I'll never ever forget Su Yeol's K (K.I.N.G.) ❤️Considerați utilă această recenzie?
Amazing bromance and comedy make a 12 episodes fly by as if they were 4
My spoiler-free very quick review:The bromance made this show SO thoroughly entertaining. I don't even need to point out this but will: Wi Ja Hoon (je hound, oui! :P) is totally perfect in this role. The character development and story are also solid though some is predictable (but that's fine-it's too pleasant a viewing experience to need it to have intense suspense levels)... the scenes the writer concocted, though, were definitely not your usual even if the basic tale has been told before!
It has two weaknesses that made me throw it into "8/10 objectively, 9/10 subjectively" territory. First, the action has quite a lot of too-obvious fake punches, kicks etc. I'd say about 1/8 of the "hits" were unconvincing, but again... I didn't need it to be so perfect-had it been Jang Hyuk at the helm, I would've expected more, but it was still satisfying coming from these guys, and their chemistry more than made up for it. The camera didn't always get perfect angles with the hits so you can see no-contact "punches" fly, but what they did a GREAT job of=switching between the leads. That was truly well-done.
The second weakness is the lack of time/development for the supporting cast. The cast did really well with what they were given, but they just weren't given a lot of airtime. Their characters had really solid strong personalities, though, and I swear Lee Dong Wook would probably have intense fabulous chemistry with a fruit fly at this point. He must be hella fun to work with. I'd LOVE to see him and the FL in another show together-they had the "it" factor that made me REALLY want more of them albeit in another storyline. (Oh, and she and Cha Shi Won who played Jae Seon, the emotional big guy in the team, had really great action moves! They could definitely handle more shows, and I adored them both the whole show.)
Again, if I was objective, it'd be an 8/10, but my viewing experience was just too joyful, so it gets a 9 from me. Highly recommend-it's short, bromance and comedy are A+, and the time will fly by (if you like what I like at least). Wi Ha Joon might be my second favorite LDW pairing after Kim Beom!
