AMAZING BUT ANTI-CLIMACTIC

A quick review

The entire show was great. The last episode just didn’t do it for me as most of the action was skipped. The issue didn’t really get resolved properly and I wanted more action in the last episode.

The acting was perfect. The music too, most of the story was entertaining. The four guys did great and had friendship chemistry as well. It felt like it also could have been a non romance as well. Guns two character performance was also great,

Eugine was a very annoying character. Her romance with Gram felt very forced and I just didn’t support it. Still a minor thing though.

OffGun

So I might sound bais, and I do believe that I might be bais, but offgun was really whole reason show was really good to me. The story was absolutely amazing, as well as acting.

The story really had me in a choke hold cause I was really invested in who attacked Black. The romance part of the show also pulled me in cause offgun, as well as the side couple.

Well anyway my review needs to be longer. Um, I really like how they had the twins look, the angles they did was amazing with that. Although I wish they did the thing they did in Liv and Maddie, but I'm not complaining that much. I'm just saying stuff so I can post this review

Who hated this show? Not Me!!!

Okay... For the life of me, I don't understand why I put off watching this show. I am not too much into political dramas, so I kept postponing this one for the same reason I delayed watching Vincenzo and Revenge of Others... I was not sure I will like it. Then I watched Senior Secret Love (both parts) and Theory of Love. Something about OffGun clicked, and Pride Month started, so I said okay.. How bad can it be?

That I was pleasantly surprised is an an understatement. I was completely mesmerised by the sheer storyline, the cinematography, the acting... Everything just blew me.

Story: usually GMM TV has the habit of ruining great premises with weak execution, but Not Me does not have that flaw. A brilliant story, designed to keep you on the edge of your seat, and keep you waiting for more. The director went all out to perfectly balance the glaring dystopia in our world with the utopian world that our leaders want to present. I think that was really well done. The story felt real because it was steeped in reality. All of us have faced discrimination at some point and there are many idealists as well as rebels amongst us, who wish to change the face of the society we live in.

Acting: Kudos, I mean seriously kudos to the person who decided the cast. Mond as Gram and First as Yok simply blew my mind. Both the girls were cast well, and for a change, were not cruel, manipulative bitches out for revenge! But in my honest opinion, it was Off as Sean and Gun as Black/White that made me just go crazy in love. What was completely unexpected was the actual change in Sean's eyes and behaviour as he started falling for White(who for him was Black at that point). I must talk here about the scenes with the trust falls, their kisses and that first time they had... How Gun talks about the beating heart made me feel like it was mine that was beating. I also have to talk about the scene where Sean confesses to who he thinks is his 'Black' but is actually the real one. The helplessness is Sean's eyes when the actual Black beats him up made me want to pick him up and tuck him in bed! And OffGun... Please come back with more, I beg of you!

Music: Everlast by Will van de Crommert is my Pride Anthem... It is now on loop in my Spotify and I keep listening to it. Other songs are also great... The closing thème by OffGun is definitely worth a listen. Songs are placed well and don't take away from the beauty of the show at all!

Re-watch value: 10000/10... Even more... I have already re-watched it like 3 or 4 times, and every time I find something new that catches my interest. So definitely go for it!!

Recommendation: strongly recommend you guys to watch this one... I think I can safely say that this one is one of the masterpieces of 2022!!

Chemistry offgun di era 2020+

Menceritakan tentang manusia kembar bernama "black" dan "white" yang punya latar belakang kehidupan yang berbeda, "Black" adalah seorang yang bersikap keras, penuh dengan tantangan, sangat maskulin dan berani menanggung resiko. Sedangkan, White adalah orang yang kebalikannya - hal ini membuat black punya banyak musuh dan masalah, suatu waktu Black diserang oleh sekelompok orang yang membuatnya dirawat di rumah sakit karena koma, saat itulah saudaranya white menggantikan peran Black, dapatkan White mengganti peran dan wataknya? terlebih Black punya teman-teman yang punya karakter yang sama dengannya, apakah White bisa bergabung di dalam grup pertemanan Black dan berpura-pura menjadi Black seutuhnya? saksikan series ini. Dari segi dialog awalnya aku agak kesulitan ya dalam memahami alur ceritanya, namun perlahan anda akan sadar betapa menariknya cerita series ini, romansa dan adegannya menurutku menegangkan ya ; pesona Gun Attaphan yang dapat memerankan dua karakter sekaligus memang sudah tidak aneh ya ; sejak The Gifted dia pernah melakukannya, dan anda akan merasakannya lagi di series ini, dari segi karakter- menurutku sangat bagus ya, penokohannya menurutku bagus dan sangat berkarakter, dengan latar kehidupan yang berarti. Dari segi konflik, agak berat ya menurutku, resolusinya cenderung berbelit-belit dengan orientasi yang terlalu lama, Series ini menurut saya bukan hanya sekedar series romantis OffGun saja namun lebih dari itu - series ini punya cerita lain yang lebih kuat daripada sekedar romansa, rekomendasi banget terutama untuk penonton setia Theory Of Love Series.

Review

I relay like this storyline it’s very interesting. The storyline is also very different from other bl’s I’ve watched. It reminds me a bit of Manner of Death but at the same time not. The acting is of course amazing since it’s Off and Gun. I also really like the other actors they’re great as well. It’s just an overall amazing series I would definitely recommend, so if you’re a little interested please try watching. Believe me it’s soooo worth it. Now remember this isn’t your a normal bl series so if you’re looking for maybe try another bl there are many great ones.

Un BL completo

Wow, Not Me sinceramente es uno de los mejores bl que he visto saliéndose de lo tradicional y cliché para traernos una trama más intensa. El reparto es magnífico, cada escena puedes conectar y simpatizar con ellos y la situación, los temas que tocan en este bl están bien ejecutados, ningún personaje se siente que esta demás o que la trama tiene relleno cada cosa que se encuentra en la serie tiene un propósito.
Algo que también me gustaría destacar es la música de este bl, es increíble como cada canción acompaña tan bien a lo que se nos presenta en la escena, hay una diversidad de temas que urgentemente necesito una playlist con todas las canciones de la serie.
Es una serie que te va a dejar sentado queriendo ver más y saber más de la historia, super recomendada

Surpreendente

Tudo nesse bl me surpreendeu do começo ao fim, foram tantos plot twists um atrás do outro e eu sempre ficava em choque. A atuação dos OffGun nessa série é simplesmente impecável como em todas as outras que eles já fizeram juntos, a química deles é surreal e a forma em como eles conseguem transmitir isso é mais surreal ainda.
Nem imagino o quão difícil deve ter sido gravar tudo, e com certeza deveria ter mais reconhecimento! Os meninos trabalharam duro e lançaram uma obra perfeita, impossível se desapontar assistindo isso.
OFFGUN COMO SEMPRE ARRASANDO!

Not Me Going in Bc It’s GMMTV & Staying For OffGun

I honestly picked this series up bc it was a GMMTV production but I ended up staying bc of the amazing cast and their performances . The primary reason I didn’t give the series the overall 10 star rating is because most Thai BLs are 12 episodes and close their shows with a satisfying ending. So for a show that got the coveted 14-episode slot , I expected a clean finish , even if it was just paragraphs of the characters outcomes , I probably would’ve been satisfied . I get that it was a significant moment where the people pardoned them but judicial pardoning as well would’ve been amazing .
Tawi’s outcome was never actually shown . Him breaking his usual cool was … not enough .. I would’ve liked for Sean to get the closure he needed to feel like he can put his dad’s case to rest . Also old man that threatened to off Dan’s family … like who tf was he ??? I need ‘splanation, bruh !!! Black and White’s dad … where was he in all this ??? Like his child left home and he just … what ??? Sat on his laurels ? Like bruh you ain’t concerned about where your only son is in this world ? The mom ? Don’t even get me started on Madam Judge . From the get-go I knew she wasn’t right in the head and her meeting with White … I was disappointed , angry , disgusted , and just downright flabbergasted by that character . I hated her more than Tawi . I liked the henchman more than her . She’s on the same level as Rose from Titanic for me . How does a mother who prides herself in knowing her twin sons apart shred both of their spirits to pieces ??? Tf !!! As a judge , she should’ve been proud of Black and guided him properly; encouraged him to be the one that makes the difference in society the legal way . There are so many ways to change the old ways without becoming a vigilante . Also , I lowkey wanna know what Todd does when he comes out of his coma and how the fight between him and Black went down . I highkey wanna know what Black does with his life after the dust settles .
On the flip side tho , oddly, I loved the story line and actors . That beautiful moment of OffGun cheering under the ?️‍? during the protest … chef kiss ! Loved it ! Esp now that Thailand has passed their same-sex marriage rights ? still so new so I still get teary eyed ?♥️
Gun’s performance as always was absolutely brilliant . He’s one of the few actors that can pull emotions out of me . Off and his Jay Park looking head ass ? (sorry I can’t ever unsee it ?) I love his chemistry with Gun . First and Gawin … it was a pairing that I wasn’t onboard with at first but when he started sketching Gawin … it hit me like a greyhound bus . First has this way of staring at someone like he’s looking into their soul and Gawin can show this vulnerability that makes you wander what you have hidden in your soul . It was a perfect portrayal of loving and trusting someone blindly , and finding it being reciprocated . To me , the painting in the end showed more than just the problems with social hierarchy but love and trust in the most deepest and purest but basic forms .
Gram and Eugene … idk man … personally I don’t like dating someone my friend already dated … you know the code . Can’t break the code man ! I did like Gram and Nuchy tho . Nuchy challenges Gram in a way that’s healthy and she covered his ass on multiple occasions . I was rooting for them til the end !
Hia Kumpha !!! I fudging love that man and not cuz he’s about my age but bc he’s faithful , loyal , trustworthy , steadfast , and protective . I knew that he knew from the start that White wasn’t Black . The new lotion excuse was a stupid excuse .

I’m gonna close this cuz it’s getting too long but yeah that’s my take on this series ?♥️ make good decisions today ?
