Amore (2020)

NEEDS A REDO.

Firstly. I actually just finished this series about 2days ago. And i could not stop creating so many blank spots that needed answers. So lets divide it.

BACK STORY.
So in the series , i had no problem with any character. They were all perfect with their own flaws and lessons learnt. But there were so many questions unanswered, that can be answered and made better.

PRINCESS- please and i know im not the only one asking this...from the point in the series where she found out about Wil staying there, she showed a sense of fear that she was in deep trouble , like he would harm her or she was in danger near him, and took flight without a word. Wil also mentions many times that he wasnt a good person before. But u cant tell me that she was that frightened because of Kenji finiding them or because she had no freedom. Like there could be more to her backstory than what was shown. Also where did she move to ? Who did she leave with ? Where had she been all this time everyone searched for her? How did she feel when she heard the news about Butch? Who found her? How did the confrontation happen about the non biological fathers? who was the father? I have so many questions .

WIL- honestly i loved this character, i loved his gentleness in the beginning and how u gradually see his bad ways to show his love. Absolutely perfect. However , how does he have Lameul as a connection ? Who is he exactly , and what was he capable of to cause his ex girlfriend to run away? Also how did he and the ex girlfriend rekindle? What was his reaction after finding out Butch couldve been his? Or after hearing that it's neither his or Jimmys baby? Why did he talk so much to that plant?

NUAN- Loved his character, however he has too many long unnecessary scenes of saddness and tears. I love how far his obsessiveness went. However , he should show how he moved on and got into a relationship.

BUTCH- After three years , Butch was still a baby ? He shouldve been walking and talking. Also that did not have to happen to him for them to realize they needed to move forward. The best ending would've been the happy family of 2 fathers. Also how jimmy got custody over him. And his relationship with everyone.

JOEY- i dont have a problem here just that , he had the evidence and did nothing ??? During that three years. He couldve tried to find her with Dave to talk to her about the situation.

Ahh i have so my much questions about this whole series

Please Redo this series and make it better. This story is impeccable.

Decepção

Confesso que iniciei essa série com altas expectativas, talvez por isso minha decepção tenha sido tá grande. A história começou até interessante, o que me intrigava era o protagonista (Joey) ser tão aclamado quando não era tão bonito fisicamente, mas até então tudo bem, pois minha definição de beleza pode ser diferente da deles. Após os primeiros episódios a série passou a se arrastar, simplesmente nada acontecia. Prometeram o casal Joey e Jimmy e trouxeram o casal Joey e Will (??). Em determinado ponto, eu tinha a impressão que não tinha mais história para preencher os capítulos e estavam apenas enchendo linguiça, a historia poderia até ser boa, mas o roteiro deixou muito a desejar, erros imperdoáveis. A atuação é fraca, a ost é péssima, os episódios finais eu preferia não ter visto. Foi terrível incluírem a morte do bebê sem que a mãe nem soubesse de nada e depois ela voltar super de boa no episódio especial, esse é apenas um dos furos graves... O episódio final foi um dos piores que já vi, não fez nenhum sentido, além de venderem um casal que não ficou junto durante toda a série ainda mandaram o Jimmy pra ser padre, oi??? O roteirista escreveu isso bêbado? O que "amenizou" a tragédia foi o episódio especial que finalmente uniu Jimmy e Joey.
Os pontos que eu destaco são as mulheres trans que sempre tem oportunidades nas produções filipinas e eu ter conhecido o Drei Arias, por quem me apaixonei. Fora isso, não tenho nenhum interesse em uma segunda temporada.

GOOD ACTING AND STORYLINE AMAZING

I can say that this series is good, though they have the issue in terms of technical, the story and the approach of the actors with their actings were good, very realistic and convincing, they have a very good storyline after watching the whole 9 episode of this series, I cans ay that is ill give this series a try until the end. The synopsis is cute and I will recommend this series to my friend because of its unique story.

This Filipino series is hooking me, every episode, the acting was superb, if there will be an awarding body for acting I will highly recommend this series, though it is not patronize yet since they have low views on youtube, but I can say we should not sleep on this series.

MY 2 CENTS TO AMORE BL SERIES

It was nice wartching this series,, even though they have rough difficulties with their audio, but the series went well, when it comes to story flow, I can say that the story is quite slow in pacing, but upon watching the last 3 episode, I can see the sense of the director of making it that way. I saw answers from my answers before. now that the series is gradually developing, the tension and the conflicts are apparently showing towards the cast and I so liking it, why? because the acting prowess of each character are showing improvement in a professional way. their acting was amazing and realistic.. it very hurting me inside, and somewhat related to every scene. Specially the latest episode.. wos such an amazing performance in acting ensemble they connect to each other.. Guys watch this series this is very interesting.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED STORY

I highly recommend this series, aside from gameboys and hello stranger, this series from the Philippines is my 3rd on the list of my top 3 series,, they hit me with their lines and how it was delivered, the actors are amazing when it comes to their acting, every words hits a by heart. I love the storyline and the development, specially the latest part, I love how it was executed by Nuna and the supporting actors in the part. I am loving this series and even my workmate watching it because of same reason, story wise it's amazing knowing that it is a real life story, and the acting skills of the actors are good.

HONESTLY THIS SERIES IS GOOD.

I've been watching series from the other country and I came across with this series, I can say that this series doesn't have enough budget because of their lapses with their audio, technical aspects are not good, but I was surprised because this series is actually good, and the storyline and actirs are doing their part to meet what is definitely the things should we watch, the story is very relatable, and the scnesa are actually happening in real life. the pacing for me is good, the delivery of lines are amazing it chills me, Thank you for recommending this series to me, this become my relief escape for boredom and this is the series I can line up along with that bl and gameboys

ANOTHER GEM OF FILIPINO BL SERIES

AMORE is a Pinoy BL series with 30 episodes. As of writing I've seen 8 episodes. It was promising and intriguing.

As a Filipino myself, I am very glad with the sprouting of BL industry. It's a high time to showcase the Philippine take on the said subgenre or anything of that sort. We've seen The Gameboys series and Hello Strangers as BL series with virtual setting and it's a breathe of fresh air to encounter this series--with new faces of course

What I like about this series is the title sequence. Idk, I'm impressed with the wittiness of their creative team. It's a cute concept.

So the question I have right now, what WILL HAPPENED TO WIL IF SHE GET TO KNOW pRINCESS IS JUTS NEXT DOOR. AND joEY IS THE ONE WHO IS TAKING CARE OF HER. ? I'm dying to know.

ONE OF THE BEST BL STORY

I started to watch this series when I saw my common friends reviewing to this series, Now I gave a try and surprisingly, this series is good enough to be highly recommended because of its nice story./ The storyline is cute and unique, involving a baby on the story, I cant wait to see how the story will end, since I just finished the 9th episode and I am seeing a lot of potential to these series, I hope more will support this series cos this one deserved more viewers than the other bl I have watched. this one is in my top 3 for being best bl in the Philippines. 1. gameboy 2, amore 3. hello starnger/ Guys try yourself watching this series, it is amazing, from the actors to the storyline and the flow story was good.

MY TED TALK ABOUT THE RECENT EPISODE

Thank goodness Nuan finally saw how controlling he was being.
I don’t really care for JoWil, because I’ve been team JoJimmy from the beginning. You can clearly see the difference in attitude when Joey talks to Jimmy to when he talks to Wil, and I believe that is because he’s already in love with Jimmy. I still don’t know how Joey said okay to Wil cause I just don’t see it.
A good thing is we won’t see toxic Nuan anymore, but just when I thought no more guys could possibly be into Joey, enter Ryle. I mean...what?!!
I also don’t know why Jimmy won’t let Joey see his son, my best guess would be that Jimmy is developing feelings for Joey and thinks that distance will make him lose those feelings.
Also what poem? What is this poem I’m hearing about for the first time ?
The story is finally moving forward, albeit still slowly. We can see a genuine connection between Jimmy and Joey, but something tells me that we won’t be getting their storyline for at least 5 more episodes. My best guess for the story is that it’s going to focus on Kenji and Wil’s rivalry now. I mean... we had Wil and Nuan, so why not this? I guess it’s more episodes of fast forwarding for me.

Great Start But Quickly Drags (Unfortunately)...

Off to a shaky start. The audio quality is quite bad. The cinematography choices are off-putting and unflattering. The acting is flat and leaves a lot to be desired. Hopefully, the series will get better as it progresses. Not sure why they decided to release the first half of the first episode on a day and the second half a few days later...

The second part of the first episode was much better than the first part as we are introduced to a possible love triangle between Wil, Joey and Jimmy. The interaction between Wil and Joey were quite cute, especially when Wil was hitting on Joey. Not sure why the Madam didn't have Jimmy stay with her though instead of put him in a random stranger's room. Looking forward to the last third of the first episode. Why don't the series just have each part be its own episode? Each part is about an episode length anyways.

Upon watching the last part of the first episode, I'm actually liking this series. There's the introduction of another possible lover in Nuan. So, not a love triangle, but possibly a love square? I love that! The story is cute so far. I LOVE relationships that start as rivals then become lovers. However, there are some illogical plot points, such as how did Joey not know that he grabbed the wrong backpack? And he only realized it when he started taking stuff out of the backpack. Like why did he continue taking stuff out of the bag when he knows that it's not his and that his admission ticket wasn't gonna be in there, even going so far as taking out a condom. Yeah, that didn't make any sense. However, the series is entertaining and I am definitely interested in seeing who Joey will choose: Wil, Nuan or Jimmy (who I hope Joey will choose)!

Upon watching the second episode, I have to say that I love that tension between Wil and Jimmy, especially since it's regarding Joey, who they both share in common. Though many people are rooting/shipping JoeyWil, I am still hoping for JoeyJimmy as I am a sucker for rival-turned-lover stories.

I LOVED the next part (the 2/3 of the second episode)! I love that Jimmy started to be nice to Joey and that he's starting to catch feelings for him! And vice-versa. Though I do like Wil who is a good guy, I do find him a bit selfish, making Joey feel bad for the incident with Jimmy when Joey isn't even Wil's boyfriend. Why should Joey feel bad just because you want him to be your boyfriend? Though the series has a low-budget and cinematography isn't particularly good at times, the story is just so utterly cute, adorable and filled with kilig moments! I cannot wait for the next part and to see Joey and Jimmy interact more!

The last part of the second episode was also enjoyable! I loved the progression of Joey and Wil's relationship! So cute and kilig! Holding hands in the library while studying! My heart! Unfortunately, there wasn't much interaction between Jimmy and Joey though. The minor characters, such as Nuan and the two cross-dressers, are still pretty useless and don't serve any function to the series' plot (so far). Interested to see how a possible pregnancy will affect Jimmy.

In the first part of Episode 3, I was surprised by Jimmy's reaction to the pregnancy. I was sure that he wouldn't want to keep it. I now understand where the baby from the logline of the series will come from. The story is progressing nicely. I LOVED the moment at the kitchen table where Jimmy and Wil kept on trying to make the other jealous. SO MUCH KILIG! I LOVE IT!

The second part of Episode 3 was another entertaining slice! I loved how Jimmy was acting all nice and kind towards Joey's friends and I LOVED the ending when Wil sang to Joey. My heart was full! Not a fan of the addition of another cross-dressing guy who will be used for comic relief though.

Due to its bloated length (30 episodes with 3 parts each), it's no surprise that the series is starting to drag (since Part 2 of Episode 4) where literally nothing happens and scenes gets extended for much longer than they should.

After watching Episode 5, I have decided to drop this series as literally nothing of any substance is happening. Just a lot of boring filler which is no surprise since this series will be 90 episodes total. And no offense to Joey, but why are all these guys lusting after him?

AMORE SERIES REVIEW

THE FIRST 8 EPISODE OF THIS SERIES IS BEAITUFUL, THEY CREATE SUCH an amazing storyline, and the execution of the actors is quite good of ar.. now I can't wait for the next part after the episode 8... IO cant wait for the part 3 of the latest epsidoe cos the pair that I am shipping is about to accept each others as partners. my god, I cant wait for that part where they will said yes to each other. JOEY AND WIL IS A VERY GOOD CHEMISTRY, AND JOEY IS ALSO SHOWING HIS INTEREST TO JOEY, I HOPE WIL WILL FIGHT FOR JOEYS HEART AND NOT GIVE JOEY TO JIMMY, I KNOW THAT JIMMY LIKES JOEY BECAUSE OF HIS SIGHT AND ACTIONS. AND CAREE TO JOEY.
