If you are a big fan of Agatha Christie books this kdrama was heavily influenced for the making of the revenge plot.

What is justified when it comes to justice? Both dramas thematize this question. Both have criminals and the question of how far the legal system should go in order to punish them. Both demonstrate good and evil, morals and fairness. Both main characters go controversial ways and make you question your own standpoint on how far one can go for it to be too far.

The push and pull tactics of politics, money and power trips are exhilaratingly displayed in both the masterpieces.

Darkness and emotional investment. Both stories have protagonists fighting against the injustice while morality of the methods used are in the gray area. Both series have a strong sense of comraderie/bromance where the guys take care and protect each other.

Both are bromance investigation genre but one is dystopian world and other is wuxia setting. both have the perfect chemistry between male leads.

The bromance in both is just so freaking satisfying!!!
I love the way in both the dramas the MLs know what each other is thinking without words and the tension is just GOSH THICK!!!
