Want more, defining life, living
A lot of people gave negative reviews, I have something to say for that.Even though after some time the story becomes predictable its still a very good story.
The story goes in about love and life and what they mean to a person.
Getting reminded of that even if it's cliche isn't always a bad thing.
Also fun fact my eyes are swollen cause this show made me cry sooo much..
Another thing is I wish I could ask for more special episodes where they are living happily.. Getting married going on dates etc etc.

Its a must watch!
I have been watching Korean dramas and Chinese dramas like a hundred of them and this is the 96th Korean drama I finished watching. I think this drama is top 10 of my favourite dramas (Top 1 actually)The drama has ups and downs and it's super touching and super exciting t the same time. After watching the 13th and 14th episodes, you might think to drop it since the ending must be sad. (it is not actually) I don't want the review to contain spoilers so you can watch them.
I hope you find the review helpful!
Let me know whether you enjoyed the drama the same as me!

Doom At your Service
Doom At your service aired on TvN in 2021. It was one of the most anticipated dramas of 2021. With amazing, talented leads and second leads audience was patiently waiting for the drama to air. Seo In Guk played the role of Doom who falls in love with a human girl Tak Ding Kyung played by Park Bo Young.GENRE: ROMANCE, FANTASY,DRAMA
OPINION: Seo In Guk( Myul Mang aka Kim Saram) is my personal favourite. He has the most anticipating and intimidating personality which attracts me. I had previously seen "THE SMILE HAS LEST YOUR EYES" which is in my top 5 kdrama lists. The gloomy, shady yet handsomely, beautiful looking character of the doom is what suits him the best. Thats why I chose this drama to watch. The best actor in the Kdrama Industrty. Look what it turned out to be. It turned out to be one of the ebst shows in the kdrama world. His acting and his looks is what will make this worth watching. He desrved so much hype after the drama was released. And I think he deserved the hype and fame. Park Bo young as Tak Dong Kyung had a sweet, calm nature which also suited her the best. Chaa Joo Ik, Na Ji Na, Lee Hyun Kyu had the best love triangle. They also did their part pretty well. I personally enjoy love triangles thats why I loved theirs. Na Ji Na chose the man whom she truly deserves rather than choosing a immature guy.
Coming to the plot. Personally, I didnt like the plot that much. The concept of Doom was interesting but the plot or the story how it turned out to be was very ordinary. I expected more than that. The first few episodes were very interesting to watch. The concept of Doom, introduction of the characteres, the deity was all very fascinating. But as the story progressed I felt as if it was stuck somewhere and it didn't know how to put forward the coming episodes. It was all same. Doom dying for his love , to save the only love of his life, the light of his life. Also the FL trying to change destiny of them in order to save the ML. It was all very ordinary. At thattime I enjoyed the second lead love triangle. Also, I didnt get the relationship they had. How the script writers wanted to express that kind of love? It could have been described in a simple manner.
But the chemsitry of the leads was extraordinary which made me continue to watch the drama. One of the best chemisrty in 2021. The cinematography, direction, portrayal of the scenes were all very beautiful to watch. The OST was also very impressive. The ending was the satisfactory, realistic, beautiful ending to me. The happy ending is all we wished for. Thank you to the leads for portraying such a beautiful On screen chemistry.😍😎😎

I really love Park Bo Young, she is my favorite korean actress and I almost watched all her works, so the first thing that made me watch DAYS is her. As for Seo In Guk what a surprise! I know he is a singer turned actor but I never saw any his project and I never heard his songs but he nailed the character of Myul Mang. He is a very good actor, I loved his expressive eyes and he can be sexy too. I know Kang Te Ho too I appreciated him in The Tale of Nokdu.
For the first 4 episodes if I have to give points i give 100, starting to the 5th to the end i have to give 99. There was a slighting fall. The freshness of the first episodes went away but I still enjoyed everything.
I read some comments in the comments sections about the contract being not clear but personally I didn't any problem to understand what's going on. The only thing that was not clear to me is the Deity; sometimes she is supportive to our couple sometimes not and than again supportive and than not.. Her lines were a little bit confusing, the character should have been written in a better way.
Is being a while since I was invested and obsessed about a drama.
I cried and smiled a lot and the chemistry with the two main lead was so intense. I never felt bored, i enjoyed watching how they stat to love each, erasing each other, the way they found and loosing each other. I really felt their love i had butterflys too!
To be honest i was not so invested in the love triangle, at first it was so random to the main story but after some episodes I became curious about Jina's feelings.
In my playlist these days I have all the OST, the songs are really beautiful.
Overall i have to give a 10 everything was perfect and the story make sense for me, I enjoyed everything and I don't know how i will spend the Mondays and Tuesday from now on, I am not ready to let them go.

"Love Me To The Point You Want To Destroy The World For Me"
Doom is served... Here is my review on the beautiful drama about fate and how the fate of the world relies in the hands on the people living in it.Story:
The flow of the story progressed well in the first eight episodes, however, it began to progress slowly later on. I really enjoyed how it was an enemies/strangers to lovers in the beginning, but when the two leads got together pretty fast, it felt as if there was nothing to look forward to. The love triangle between Ji-na, Hyun-kyu, and Joo-ik was the only thing I was still invested it ToT. On the other hand, I really like the overall message and plot of the drama. The conflicting feeling of sacrificing everything/everyone for the person you love or letting go the one you love to save others really makes you question about life and how you can apply a strong message like this to the world we live in today.
Acting/Cast:
I loved the cast in this drama. They really got Park Bo-young, the queen the fantasy dramas and Seo In-guk. The chemistry these two portrayed in the show was absolutely amazing and you can really see how well it was shown throughout the show. This was surprisingly the first drama I've seen In-guk in, but I know he is a popular actor and his acting didn't disappoint. I also liked seeing new faces such as Lee Soo-hyuk and Shin Do-hyun, I will know be obsessing over these two in their future projects ><
Music:
Hellooo??? The OSTs for this drama were absolutely golden. You had TXT, Baekhyun, Ailee, Gummy, Davichi, and more!! You can't go wrong with any of these artists and the OSTs obviously didn't disappoint.
Overall:
The cinematography to this drama was also very beautiful and is something to look forward to throughout the show. I would definitely recommend this drama to someone who enjoys fantasy dramas.

Overblown with a Creepy Stalker on the Side
This K-Drama was recently made available on Netflix in my region so I'm a bit late to the party.I enjoyed Park Bo Young in 'Strong Girl Namsoon' and wanted to see her in something else. Park Bo Young is lovely and engaging but her acting range is limited, her default is the wide-eyed look. Seo In Guk is miscast as Doom who is meant to be very handsome and there's no real chemistry between his character Doom and Tak Dong Kyung.
(I won't discuss the main plot in detail as this has been done by most of the previous reviewers.)
* Spoiler*
I very rarely expend so many words in critiquing secondary characters. However, Cha Joo Ik is the worse secondary character I've seen in a K-drama to date. He's creepy, entitled, unprofessional and a stalker. The overly pale and ghostly make-up adds to the creep factor.
In the earlier episodes he stalks writer Na Ji Na and entices her to sign a personal contract with him, stealing her from his colleague and Ji Na's BFF Dong Kyung. (I find this problematic: Ji Na is meant to be a loyal friend so I doubt she'd forsake her BFF for Cha Joo Ik just to be a top ten writer especially after Dong Kyung promises to work hard to make her successful). Joo Ik continues to stalk Ji Na and we find out from flash back in a later episode that he stole Ji Na's first kiss nine years ago - This is seriously creepy because Ji Na was still in High School at the time and Joo Ik was older and Ji Na's boyfriend's tutor. By stealing Ji Na's first kiss, Joo Ik derails Ji Na and Lee Hyun Gyu's romance. Something the two of them are still struggling to recover from after all these years. To add to the creep factor, Joo Ik knows exactly how Hyun Gyn feels about Ji Na because they live together in Joo Ik's father's penthouse (a serious power imbalance) and Hyun Gyn confides in Joo Ik. When Hyun Gyu confronts Joo Ik later in the story, Joo Ik still claims to be his friend, while making a move on Ji Na despite knowing how Hyun Gyn feels about her.
I haven't finished watching this drama yet so I do know how this love triangle will unfold. But I hope Joo Ik loses his friend Hyun Gyn and doesn't get the girl.
*Spoiler*
Ep15 - The creep is now blackmailer! Young Prince, pen name of a just out of high school writer and winner of a reality show, wants to continue his media career but Cha Joo Ik blackmails him to return to writing saying he'd reveal Young Prince's real identity to the public. This is unethical and repulsive!
I hated that Ji Na chose Joo Ik instead of Hyun Gyn who is kinder, more genuine and much nicer looking.

what a waste of what could've been a great drama
like a lot of other people I started watching this for the leads Seo Inguk and Park Boyoung and these two didn't disappoint. they did deliver a great performance for the poor script of the show. I'd give this a 5/10 or less if it wasn't for them.the second leads story was neither interesting nor did it add anything to the story but just felt like a filler instead. they tried to make it a "omg look at the secondary leads 3 good looking people in a love triangle" but failed badly. the other side characters were also pretty meaning less.
I watched Lee Soohyuk in Tomorrow and his stoic acting fit his character there but here his acting made his character even less interesting here, to me he's just one more of those actors that are there cuz they're good looking and draw attention but can't really act sorry.
Seo Inguk's character had so much potential he was the stone cold supernatural male lead that brought destruction with everything he did, but that lasted only one episode. most of the show you couldn't even see doom causing doom the only thing he did was teleport and time travel.
I watched this solely to see doom falling in love with a terminally ill cancer patient but I never really got to see him falling in love. one day he'd threaten her and they'd fight and the next day they say they're in love like it was mood swings every 30 mins and we never got to see their characters mold into each other, get that character development (esp cold hearted doom).
the character development of doom was something I really wanted to see but never did it was like he was a completely new person suddenly and no gradual change and it was disappointing tbh.
the god (deity) felt more like a villain or her character was just poorly made. none of her actions made any sense like what was she even trying to do??
also the plot felt very forced to bring out a love story like the FL suddenly deciding that she had to fall in love with the ML to survive... where did she get that from? and then suddenly deciding to live together but were technically living in two separate houses.
the dialogues were THE WORST. they were so corny and so poorly written you could even tell some were forced into the script just for some tears (they didn't fit in naturally). only kept watching this for Seo Inguk and Park Boyoung's good acting which really carried the entire show. though I found ep 9 & 10 pretty interesting cuz these two again carried.
I didn't really like the music, maybe it's just my personal taste but I feel like it had OSTs that I could swear I heard in another drama and were nothing special either.
OVERALL: if you're interested in a fantasy drama with a good plot and well written and interesting characters this is absolutely not for you. but if you wish to see it just for the leads' chemistry with each other, go ahead and watch it! though I can guarantee you that you can skip every other scene except theirs and you'll be missing nothing at all cuz rest of it is just a filler.

This drama was beyond my imagination of what I thought it would be......
So honestly this drama had ups and downs throughout, by ups and downs, I don't mean my rating on the show I mean what happens in the show. Okay, so, this show was like a hate-to romance type, like hatred at the beginning, then slowly begin to love one another. So, my rating on this Television Series is, that I have watched so many romance dramas, but this one was beyond my standards for A romance drama, it had everything. It went from hardships to failure to love to hatred to having to fit in and having an uncomfortable situation to handle. These are my type of dramas, so I rate Doom at your Service 10/10 with 12/16 episodes watched.Considerați utilă această recenzie?

THE DEFINITION OF "PERFECTION"!DO NOT MISS THIS OUT!
Now that's what I'm talking about! This slow-burn-romance drama which is a piece of ART absolutely exceeded my expectations. This masterpiece is heart-fluttering,heart-warming,enticing,humorous and thrilling.I was NOT bored for a single second. So far, each and every episode is the definition of "REWATCH VALUE".The cinematography of this one is outright MESMERISING.The CGI,the OSTs and the BG MUSIC gave me goosebumps. The plotline is engrossing,well-established and unique in it's own manner. One of the many notable factors of this show is the way visual/verbal metaphors were used to portray the lives of the main characters and the situation they're placed in through a captivating manner. The characterization of each and every character of this show was on point.
The cast of the show, especially the leads are doing a FABULOUS job!!
I INSTANTLY FELL IN LOVE WITH THE LEADS AND THE CHARACTERS THEY PORTRAY!The chemistry between the leads which is on FIRE is the highlight of the show!
In the conclusion, you're gonna get thoroughly immersed in this drama while watching it and crave for more. You'll find yourself screaming with joy and bawling your eyes out the next moment.I strongly believe that this drama won't disappoint me later on and that the whole ride will be an unforgettable experience.Go ahead and give it a try!I'm sure that you'll eagerly wait for the upcoming episodes and suffer like I'm doing right now.I genuinely hope that this show receives the recognition and appreciation it deserves!

I didn't want to drop this. I had every intention of going back and completing it. But after being stuck at ep 11 for literal months, I just couldn't get myself to go back. The performances are superb. I really like the mythos/world/world-building of the story. It has a great atmospheric feeling during the more fantastical elements. I love both of the main characters and can really empathize with them. I'm not interested in the love triangle between the three secondary leads, but that's not really important enough for me to drop a drama. And I didn't find the rules of the universe confusing at all.
I just couldn't connect with the story. I really wanted to see the female lead more cut up about having to leave her loves ones, because I know I would be an absolute wreck if this sort of thing happened to me. And as much as I liked the romance, I found some of the leads motivations to not be very strong, and some of their choices frustrating.
I don't think this is a completely worthless drama. The right audience would love it. It's not a drama about the role of god or the mysteries of the universe or building an immersive fantasy world (although I think it does mostly succeed on that last point). The fantastical, other-worldly elements are there to serve the romance and the drama's underlying themes: sadness, loneliness, losing hope and then finding someone in the midst of it all. And that's what this drama is really about. Finding someone to be there with you at your lowest points. Which is definitely something a lot of viewers would enjoy.
