Chinese Paladin 4 (2024)

The drama was a pretty decent one. There wasn't too many complicated, unnecessary scenes. It was simple and straight to the point. 3 people go on a journey together to explores their origin and the history of their parents. They meet Ziying and the 4 of them hit off pretty well.

The acting in this show is my biggest disappointment. Han Lingsha expressions and actions are exaggerated too much that it makes it seem like Ziying and Mengli aren't putting in any effort into acting at all. Tianhe was the only character who had acting skills that fitted his role, as a man whose never been out of his home and doesn't know a lot of thing. Ziying and Mengli don't really put much effort into their acting, their roles seem very easy to act, to be still and polite.

The costuming of the drama was pretty good. I loved the colors of Qionghua and their outfits were super gorgeous. Lingsha's red outfits were also pretty remarkable. Even though Qionghua is a cultivator sect, there was barely any fighting scenes. Not too bad.

I really shipped Ziying and Lingsha together.

Fantastic emotional relationships between characters

As a die-hard fan of the series, Sword and Fairy 4 has completely blown me away. It's like they made this season just for us fans – keeping all the magic of the original and building on it in the most incredible ways. The series excels in exploring the complex relationships between its characters. The bond between Yun Tianhe, Han Lingsha, Liu Mengli, and Murong Ziying is crafted with such finesse that it feels incredibly real and relatable. The emotional depth explored in their interactions, conflicts, and the gradual revelations of their pasts are what make Sword and Fairy 4 stand out. The actors’ ability to convey deep emotions makes their journey through pain, confusion, friendship, and love truly compelling. This emotional depth adds a layer of authenticity to the series, making it a profoundly moving experience.

Impressive

Impressive. It's like Final Fantasy game where it started with a solo lead then followed by his partner. Then a party has been created after a few journey. The introduction of the story was great but I just wish Tianhe and his father had more interactions but who knows in the upcoming episodes. Their side missions were really interesting; how I felt a little horror vibe in the episode when they were encounter a puppet there. I love how they use transportation by the "Sword." Lingsha is like Aerith of FF7 for me. Sweet girl but only difference is that Lingsha's more annoying but cute. Hope to see her more in action scenes. Ziying is so cool. I like how Lingsha called him Ice Cube ?. I really like Mengli's character because of her gentleness and innocence.

How I wish the intro/opening song should be Ju Jingyi's song but it's still good though. Hope they can make MV for the drama. Highly recommended especially to those gamers and loves adventure stories.

A good story

Personally both actors have done there part well also other actors too. The storyline will be cleared after 3 eps so far the story is good. Waiting for the remaining eps .. hoping to get a satisfying end.

Well I also recommend My Demon although I don't follow kdramas but this drama has kept me busy waiting anxiety.. but I only wanted after ep 5 so... Anyways it is a must watch.

Finally I watched a historical drama to support the latest work from actor Chen Zheyuan, and it turned out that this drama was quite good. Finally I found a drama that could make me wait every day for the next episode. What I like about this drama is the friendship between Yun Tianhe, Han Lingsha, Murong Ziying, Liu Mengli. They are all willing to risk their lives to protect each other. Very touching, the visual selection of actors and actresses is very good, they are very handsome and beautiful. Even though some of them have a less than good relationship, I hope they can come back to play an amazing modern drama. Good luck always actors CZY.

Sword and Fairy, where is fairy?

Two series, "Sword and Fairy", were added at one time. In one I like Ester Yu, in this one I like Chen Zheyuan. I guess I expected something more, the drama was interesting, and from a certain moment I couldn't wait for the next episode. However, the ending left me very disappointed. First of all, it is obviously not a happy ending for me, and secondly, many threads were not fully explained to me. Thirdly, I hoped that with the powers that ML had, something would definitely happen. Nice quiet drama with a few twists and turns. I probably won't watch it a second time.

Great Drama

So far so good. All the characters are likable and some might have flaws but that leaves room for development. I love the action scenes as well as a little bit of romance. The drama was fast paced, and there were no boring moment. I think C-drama lovers should give it a try.

The female male lead is my favorite character. She is very funny and smart. She has flaws but I think there will be development in her character. Her makeup are not bad, I don’t know why people are complaining. I don’t see anything wrong with the makeup style.

There’s chemistry between the ML and FL. It make the drama very fun to watch.

Annoying acting of cast which ruined the show

My habit is that, even if I don't like the show I still try some episodes before dropping it , and for chen zhe yuan i tried 10 episodes but this drama is really not captivating for me at all ...
i really do not like acting of casts except for tianhe and ziying , and this drama is full of elders who seems upright and righteous but are demons from inside , i really hate these kinds of elders who uses their disciples for their own good ...
i do not even like the concept that Tianhe 's father died before teaching his son some basic rules for living ...he is the worst father i have seen . His father at least told him to not believe in anyone from outside world and never leave the mountains but how foolishly he got tricked by lingsha ...
the character of lingsha is on my nerve , in ep 6 she wants immortality and for this she can even sacrifice her friends ... what kind of mentality is this ... even if she has some backstory but she has no right to decieve other people ...
even the couple in this drama are not fixed
Although CGI is good but i also do not like two colours in tianhe eyes ...

this drama is very much reminds me of snow eagle lord - very powerful ML whose powers are hidden , annoying elders , disciples got punished according to useless rules , and many more similarity ...

If the acting is better , i will definitely watch it ...but i do not want to continue when i know it is going to be a sad ending ...

PERFECT DRAMA!

this drama is really good! I really enjoyed it, I even watched it many times, plus good CGI, each episode has its own charm...Jujingyi's acting is also getting better? I like him playing Han Lingsha and Chenzheyuan has good acting and can bring the drama with a cute primitive child impression?It's really adorable, I'm carried away by the chemistry. In this drama I haven't seen any other dramas anymore❤️❤️❤️ From SF4 there are lots of lessons that we can take in life as our preparation too...sadness, happiness, hilarity are also there in this drama, it's very complete, I really like it!!!
