they both have a similar dark crime vibe. ML and FL also have similar chemistry, i.e. FL really understands ML and they have a deep connection (she gets close to him while others can't).

When Shiho Nishina got worried about her sex life with her husband, her husband proposed to her, "Why don't we go to a couple exchange party?" At first Shiho strongly turned down the idea, but eventually, she gave in because her husband was very persuasive. "We're just going to observe, okay?" Shiho said as she reluctantly agreed to it. Meanwhile, a former diplomat Mr. Kubozuka ran a couple exchange club, "Aquarium," with his wife in their house. At first, Shiho was being very cautious, but gradually, she got attracted to Mr. and Mrs. Kubozuka's charm and finally agreed to exchange couples with them. It seemed that their sex problem had disappeard and they had found happiness, but as it turned out, that was just the beginning of their nightmare...

The plots aren’t similar…but both dramas has a smart lead that has a certain disability that society often perceive as incapable of emotional involvement especially in a romantic way.
In both shows the thought of ‘maybe it is’ & ‘maybe its not’ did pop in my head with their relationship but it certainly didn’t stop me from hoping & cheering for it.
Both are also excellent dramas in their own right & highly worth the watch.

Both dramas are crime solving and thriller, mystery , suspense, action. The main lead of the drama is detective. the male lead in both dramas seems to have dark past and have something to hide. Both dramas have many twists, turns and surprises.

both are thrillers which kept me wanting to continue on to the next episode. Great casting and acting as well.

The general feel is quite simmilar- deception, society issues, crime, family and love.

Both keep you on your toes until the very end and are highly engaging, with beautifully written, complex characters and intriguing and suspensful storylines.

Both drama has the story of keeping a person alive on machine secretly. The love one would not let go of the person.

similarly, the background stories are really elaborate and keep you entertained

Both main characters live a double life that they keep hidden from their families and in both their families begin to suspect something is wrong.

There are many similarities in terms of plot points and even the framing of shots. So much so that it’s clear that the makers of FOE had been influenced by MOAM. Giving examples would be giving spoilers. So I’ll just mention one. A car accident shown repeatedly as a flashback. Each time it’s shown, it reveals new information.

Both dramas got similar vibe. Both FL fell in love with ML without knowing their secret identity. Both couples have good chemistry.
