A good rom-com / fantasy drama
It was good drama but it was not anythig EXTRAORDINARY. it had a good stroyline and plot. I really enjoyed it, if you are thinking about watching it then go for it! it is a drama where you will laugh and cry. But you might get a lot of second hand embarrsment ;))))) The cast were really cute and there was a lot of chemistry on and of set (make sure to watch the BTS when you finished watching). However durning the series i cringed a few times when the two leads were kissing beacuse i knew the age gap..... but maybe that might just be me :(xoxox

It will make you cry a lake of tears.
Despite the fact that it isn't original, you can see that this has greater depth and focuses on family difficulties. You'll need loads of tissues since this series will make you shed a lake of tears. The flashbacks will make you cry; it's heartbreaking but yet lovely. I'm not going to go into too much detail since I want the viewers to experience all of the feelings firsthand while watching.Lee Do Hyun, in particular in this series, shows remarkable acting abilities. He was able to grab the hearts of many in Hotel Del Luna even though he was only given a limited amount of screen time, but now he's on a whole new level. All of the supporting characters/actors performed an outstanding job; this drama is amazing not only because of the main characters but because of each and every one of them. Congratulations to the casting director for casting them in parts that were ideally suited to them.
This Korean drama is suitable for the entire family. This Kdrama will teach you a lot of valuable lessons. Even this generation's kids will benefit greatly from this, particularly in terms of how to open up to their parents and why it is so vital. Parents will also learn a lot about this, such as how to communicate with their adolescent children.

Absolute must watch
I watched this because when I first read the synopsis, it reminded me of ReLife which a webtoon about a guy going back in time to fix his life starting from his days as a high school student. But this k-drama has a small twist. The guy becomes 18 again in the present time giving birth to myriad of problems and scenarios yet a second chance to redeem himself. If you a love a feel-good, heartwarming and a wholesome story with an amazing and funny ensemble cast, then you shouldn't think of anything and start binging this.

18 again review
I honestly didn't expect to be hooked by this kdrama. I kinda felt bored in the first episode BUT.The more I watch the more I want to know what will happen next. Tbh, I love this a lot. The acting is on point and it has a really nice story. It also shows kind of a real life stories about broken families and maybe some of you can relate to it. It shows a really nice plot and you will really enjoy it. It will make you cry somehow. This kdrama just shows the character's different POVs and opinions and how they resolve their problem. You will also get a very good lesson from this. I recommend you to watch it . ..

A força do amor de Jung Da Jung e Hong Dae Young!
Loosely adapted from the movie '17 again', the drama has turned the trope into an amazing life-lesson without necessarily guilt-tripping and dictating. Some acts seem candid to the nature of the story. However, it still upsets me that the main character seems to act so recklessly during the transformation. I realized at the end that it is a part of the main character's character development. I am not comfortable either about the fact that an '18-year-old' body still chases and act like 'thirty-seven' so much, especially around the wife, Da-Jeong. This drama fills the void of regrets I have in life, comforting too.Considerați utilă această recenzie?
Never Gets Old
I'm currently rewatching this show so that I can go through the journey again. This show is amazing I love seeing scenes from the show and it's not one of those situation where you get board of it or feel lik it's one of those show where if you were given the chance to watch for the first time you would because each time gets better. Also, the jokes aren't annoying and this is one of those shows that have an honest summary (basically I meant the show summary is what your getting there's no hidden stuff and the genre category is correct).I'm happy that this was being advertised by iqiyi. This show is pure gold.

Cried in each episode bc so touching. I don't like bad guy and love triangles
I'm on the fence about this show. It has heartwarming moments that I LOOOVVEE and can watch again and again but at the same time, the moments in between those amazing moments are meh. Like Il kwon(the bad guy), love triangles, high school fair and parties.I have to say the first half was better than the last half.
I cried in every episode because of the heartwarming family moments. He is an amazing dad and husband and a guy with good morals. He risks anything and everything for his children and wife.

18 Again (2020)
18 Again asks you to come along on its journey of togetherness, healing, and forgiveness.Backed by great production and a strong, albeit slightly bloated script. The story progression is fine but it does seem to venture a bit off track at times. The ending sequences also could've been a little more refined. But still, by then I was already caught; hook, line, and sinker. I was emotionally invested in the story and honestly, I just wanted to see the characters simply be happy once more and forever.
The show strikes a good balance of lighthearted fun and emotional depth. A bit childish at times, sweet and endearing other times, and knows exactly when to be a real tearjerker. The emotional weight is evident and the lighthearted moments never fails to complement it every step of the way. The cast of characters had fairly good chemistry with one another and with the Male Lead pulling, essentially, double-duty--- it's evident that he very much carries the show from start to finish. The romance aspects are a bit sidelined as the show definitely leans more towards a slice of life, family-healing/bonding theme. And as it should because it does its best during those times.
I can see why the show is relatable to many because, well, who doesn't want to be 18 again?

She's a 10/10!!!
I’ve had my eye on 18 Again for a while now ever since I was looking for kdramas to watch on reddit, and I only began watching it on a whim as I was going through my MyDramaList “Plan to Watch” list and picking titles at random. Needless to say, watching this drama was perhaps one of the best decisions of my life. I absolutely loved all the characters and felt like every single one of them went through a massive change throughout the story. I loved seeing my favorite actors like Lee Do Hyun and Yoon Sang Hyun on screen again, and I also found some new favorite actors to fangirl over. This type of genre is a complete guilty pleasure for me, and I’m glad that it lived up to my expectations all the way to the end. I didn’t feel like any scenes were filler, contrary to some opinions, and I really enjoyed the slice of life type of storytelling. I cried quite a bit watching this drama and was very invested in the storyline. It’s very hard for me to put into words how much I like this drama, because I’m mostly used to complaining about a drama’s low points in my reviews, and there really aren’t any in this one that I can think of off the top of my head. Rest assured, this will be one of the best things you have ever watched.Considerați utilă această recenzie?

Watch this for my 2022 Alphabet Drama / Movie Challenge and the title and also the story remind me of America movie 17 again, which turn out this drama based upon. What I like:
+ How this drama elaborate more the old married couple problem. Jung Da Jung (DJ) & Hong Dae Young simply remind us how not neglect little thing in our daily life with our partner, even as old married couple. Like how to say love or miss you to our couple, and also simple gesture that show we still care with our partner, like notice when they tired or just need ears to listen.
+ The flashback that take away our emotion. But unfortunately they didn't give us clue when the relationship turn bitter. Just a bit glance & the big bang that explode it.
+ How important the communication is. The good point, even though they married young but they emotion relatively stable in their young age. The relationship turn south because the lack communication from both couple. The feeling better I keep it to myself then make another burden to my partner become daily consumption that eat us now or later.
+ The fight after the re-married. Even after their re-married doesn't mean the problem end there. They still fighting but they also communicate more.
+ The changing perspective of the head department in TV station. How DJ just using her capability to shut people mouth and just prove herself.
Overall this one good drama to spend your times with....

A beautiful story of redemption.
This is a beautiful story of redemption, done in elegant style, where things are not always what they seem on the surface. Jung Da Jung's role is played almost perfectly, with a delicate balance of toughness, vulnerability, resolve and doubt. The young Hong Dae Young is also played extremely well, beautifully switching between personas and roles as the situation demands. His sharp sense of humour is wonderful to see, as in the episode with the fat man on the bus.
Overall, I rated this a 7 because there were rather too many unrelated subplots that went nowhere, they just felt like fillers to stretch the drama. On the whole, I liked the way things were tied up at the end, keeping it real but showing the challenges and also the possibilities for a brighter future.
