Cinematic and Mesmerizing Plot
From what I’ve seen so far the FL can come off toxic but I believe the demons she’s fighting with emotionally bc of her past is the a major reason. Does it excuse her behavior, no, but it's understandable. The drama so far has touched basis in different aspects of autism, personality disorders and other mental disorders. It’s also nice to see there’s romance, but it’s not the main focus. It looks like a drama that focuses on mental illness and the healing aspects that will help bring awareness behind them. The main characters look to have different but similar pains in their childhoods and from what I see they’ll help heal each other’s wounds and grow to love each other. I have also heard some may view this drama a bit toxic or lack of plot depth. But from what I’ve seen so far I haven’t seen much to complain about. But what drama is perfect? For me, I feel this is a drama I’ll watch until the end, re-watch or even buy for my fav drama collection. This review is my opinion of course. To those watching, give it a chance at least. Dropped it cause of the FL character
I started this drama cause I was told it’s a beautiful drama that tackles mental health. Well the relationship between the brothers and their friend was the only good part of this drama and the story of Kwak Deong Yeon really touched my heart. It was quite heartbreaking.The female lead character ( I appreciate the actress is good) is what put me off this drama, though her fashion was outstanding in the 5 episodes I saw. She is a toxic character, we don’t hesitate to call out male leads who are toxic , so not sure why this character gets away because she is a female. She is over bearing, treats others like crap (including her manager) and cannot take no for an answer, is imposing herself on the male lead despite him saying no to her. These are all clear red flags. She needs therapy (given her childhood trauma which I read in reviews since I couldn’t continue to watch her on my screen) but never gets any! If love could cure mental illness, we wouldn’t need psychiatrists / psychologists - so much for this messaging that love cures her trauma in a drama that focuses on mental health.
I know this drama is well loved, but I didn’t like it and this is just my opinion.

Esta tudo ótimo e nada normal
Eis que começa a surgir uma obra-prima em forma de drama. Tudo bem não ser normal é um drama com características fantasiosas, sombrias, e excêntricas, que de forma muitíssimo inteligente é utilizado para abordar, um tema tabu no oriente, que é o caso da saúde mental, através de uma abordagem terapêutica cognitiva comportamental para superação de traumas.Apresenta uma produção excelente, fotografias e externas maravilhosas, inclusive cenas noturnas, atuações impecáveis, com grande carga emocional, bem como, musical de quantidade, bela OST tem sido apresentada em seus episódios iniciais, integrada ao tema e equilibrada com as cenas. A história é bem contada, com uma velocidade fluida e continua, apesar da temática abordada ser densa e complexa, há indícios de romances como pano de fundo, que talvez, no desenrolar da história, suavize a abordagem. Sóbrio, maduro e adulto, não erótico, manifesta-se como uma promessa de um grande drama para o ano, expondo, além da fantasia, nuances de mistério e suspense, condizentes com a complexidade da mente humana e as cargas emocionais que impactam nas relações afetivas de um ser em formação.

Work of brilliant art, story telling and masterful directing
The visuals and photography are crystal clear and beautiful. It is like watching a master artist paint on a canvas. The actors are so beautiful and the "lack of feeling" on their faces conflicts with the emotion the story is communicating in such a complimentary way that you can not help but think about the story frequently during the week. The impact of the way the director put everything together is very powerful. I completely believe that some people watching this movie will experience profound healing from past hurts. At times it is so funny and quirky that I laugh out loud and I dont frankly care who hears me or who thinks I am crazy. I am in good company in the movie in any event! How anyone can think this movie is boring goes beyond believe...they are probably crazy as well! This series is a collectors item which ever way you look at it.Considerați utilă această recenzie?

The Emotional Rollercoaster!!!
Okay so I want to start off by say this... This show gave me Emotional Trauma in literally the best way possible. It's 100% honestly one of, if not THE BEST Kdramas I have ever watched in all my life. The show held my attention so well, the emotions were on point, the acting was suburb and the story was just endless excitement for me. I've never cried so many times watching a show in my life, some part made my chest feel so tight and so many times I was just left with my mouth hanging wide open... ohhh my goddd!! 10 out of 10..like this show was just perfect to me. It's amazing that I just finished it and I want to rewatch it again... I literally never wanted it to end. I fully recommend this show to just about anyone.. it had a little bit of everything. Comedy, thrills, some spooky bits, romance and even just that good old fashion relationship drama that makes you want to just cry your eyes out. Ah I'm sad it's over... it was just an amazing show, just amazing. I will be rewatching this in the future for sureConsiderați utilă această recenzie?
A trama gira em torno da Moon Young, uma escritora de livros infantis que sofre de um transtorno de personalidade anti-social e não conhece o amor devido a forma que foi criada pela mãe, e Gang Tae, um assistente de saúde muito empático ao lidar com os pacientes na clínica psiquiátrica em que trabalha, que também ao cuidar de seu irmão mais velho autista, Sang Tae.
Esse drama foi a minha aposta para o segundo semestre e fiquei maravilhada por não estar errada, tanto que ele figurou no TOP10 da Netflix por várias semanas, tanto no Brasil como pelo mundo. Com um enredo que mescla muito bem o psicológico e comédia, além de uma boa dose de fantasia e romance. Foi fácil observar como a Coreia tem potencial ao abordar de forma verdadeira transtornos psicológicos e saúde mental.
Por causa do tema, já era de se esperar que os personagens não fossem os mais fáceis - nem de lidar ou entender. A começar pela escritora Moon Young, uma protagonista forte, quase como um trator passando por cima do que acha ser errado e também do que considerava ser o certo, tornando-se ambígua e impulsiva. Ela é capaz de nos levar do riso às lágrimas com sua mente ao criar histórias, inserindo nelas muito realismo e dor.
Moon Young conhece Gang Tae quando precisa visitar o pai que está internado na clínica psiquiátrica. É quase um amor à primeira vista ─ coisa do destino, como ela mesma diz ─, e para piorar, o irmão dele, Sang Tae, é apaixonado pelos livros dela, o que torna os encontros impossíveis de serem evitados.
E por falar nos livros, preparem-se para ser bombardeados por lindas historinhas animadas sendo desenvolvidas de acordo com o que os episódios querem revelar. São maravilhosas, ─ e se cabe uma referência literária aqui ─, eu senti muita vibe do Neil Gaiman ao longo da trama por conta do realismo mágico, dando muita vontade de adquirir todos os livros da Moon Young.
Claramente, eu não esperava que o retorno de Kim Soo Hyun às telas fosse com Gang Tae, um personagem de origem humilde com um peso gigante nas costas por criar o irmão mais velho após a morte da mãe, e muito menos que ele fosse se relacionar com uma mulher rica. Eu estava acostumada a vê-lo de terno e sendo soberbo, e não com camisas de uma única cor e calça jeans. Isso apenas mostrou como um ator com muitas facetas pode se tornar ainda melhor saindo da zona de conforto.
Gang Tae é cheio de qualidades, já que é isso que o torna tão atraente para Moon Young, mas também é uma pessoa que passou a vida toda se anulando e sendo o que achava que se esperava dele. Porém, ao longo da trama é nítido como ele e o irmão evoluem. E meu Deus, como falar do Sang Tae? Um personagem autista com uma inteligência e criatividade absurda, que apesar de viver em seu mundo particular, também é muito ciente do que acontece à sua volta. E com a chegada da Moon Young na vida deles, esse choque de realidade vai aumentar.
De forma alguma, o romance fica em segundo plano. Moon Young e Gang Tae tem uma química explosiva desde o primeiro episódio que se sustenta até o final. Com todos os problemas que existem entre eles, conseguem manter o interesse e até transpor alguns de maneira altruísta e saudável. Ninguém precisa se excluir para que caiba na vida do outro, se apoiam e a ajuda é mútua. Um casal que dá gosto de acompanhar.
Todos os personagens são maravilhosos e o crescimento deles é gigantesco; uma evolução bonita para todas as partes, mas principalmente para o Sang Tae que precisava se desenvolver e ter mais autonomia sobre a própria vida. Eu não conseguiria desenvolver pontos sem revelar em excesso, mas foi um drama coreano com o final mais redondo e emocionante.
O elenco secundário possui ótimos atores e algumas participações especiais. No hospital psiquiátrico é possível acompanhar diversas histórias de vida que apesar de não ganhar muito destaque aparecem quando necessário para condizer com o episódio. Um destaque especial para o diretor da clínica e o editor da Moon Young, que com um jeito debochado deram alívio cômico no momento certo.
O único ponto negativo são os furos no roteiro nas partes que envolviam a mãe da Moon Young. Fiquei aguardando um desenvolvimento maior dos motivos que a levaram a agir como agiu, se ela tinha de fato algum problema psicológico e como conseguiu despistar tantas pessoas por tanto tempo. Achei muito enrolado todo o mistério e quando apresentado foi insuficiente.

A fotografia e cenografia são esplêndidas, algo que eu nem me admiro mais vindo da tvN. O adicional de ter uma animação inserida ali também deu um toque diferente, fazendo tanto a história do drama como a dos personagens se relacionarem. A trilha sonora sempre me fisga nas cenas mais emocionantes, o que tornou "In Silence" da Janet Suhh muito especial.
Eu senti a necessidade de recomeçar os episódios logo assim que terminavam, pois sempre ficava com a impressão de que não tinha absorvido tudo tamanha a intensidade de algumas cenas ou a mensagem que queriam passar. É uma dorama para assistir sem pressa, mas que também dá a necessidade de que é preciso ver os episódios de forma corrida, seja pelo gancho do final ou para saber como toda a trama vai se desenrolar.
Com certeza vou colocar It's Okay To Not Be Okay no meu TOP de 2020 pela forma como me emocionou e da importância do tema. Então se você está procurando um roteiro intenso com um toque de fantasia, personagens cativantes e que não deixam à desejar, acredito que esse drama coreano é para você.

Really really loved it
This is a completely different series compared to the ones I usually watch, but I'm so glad I finally decided to watch it. At first, I had some doubts about it, and after the first episode, I stopped halfway through, but I still felt like I wanted to continue watching it, and I'm really glad I did.Personally, nothing similar has happened to me or to people in the story, but I believe that if someone can relate, it might resonate even more with them than it did with me. This drama was heartfelt, instructive, funny, and very beautiful. Kim Soo Hyun and Seo Yea Ji are extremely beautiful people, and they fit so well together. Oh Jung Se played his role just wonderfully, that seeing him as himself in the end was almost weird to watch. I really liked the dynamics between Moon Kang Tae, Go Mun Young, and Moon Sang Tae, especially towards the end, but also the relationship between Kang Tae and Mun Young. I also liked all the hospital patients and staff (except for the bad ones), and I liked seeing that everyone is human and doesn't need to be treated differently. I knew that before, of course, but it was nice to see it in the series. Also, the stories of each patient and the main characters, and their childhoods - they really made me think about real life and how many different people and stories everyone has, and at the same time, how strong they are.
I also really liked the series visually, how one of the patients had a memory on the bus and how it was put together, as well as all the transitions from one place to another, etc.
I really wish these books were real and available in my country, and that more of them would come out.
The story was really beautiful, and I believe there may be those who may not like such a series, but I recommend giving it a chance.

The way the writers have dealt with the very SENSITIVE subject of MENTAL ILLNESS and AUTISM SPECTRUM is by far so APPLUDIBLE ??
The writer has SKILFULLY employed COMEDIC relief, HEARTBREAKING moments and gives viewers like me the time to really INVEST in all the characters, their STRUGGLES, their VULNERABILITIES and the ROMANCE....
It really shows the MENTAL and EMOTIONAL stress on CAREGIVERS and their need to also be taken care of sometimes gets FORGOTTEN ?
I felt that this drama was able to ACCURATELY, SENSIBLY and REALISTICALLY DEPICT these struggles ?
So much EMOTION and LAUGHTER from start to finish while biting the tips of my fingers just waiting to see what will happen next was WORTH every nail lost ???

An addictive and well thought out story.
When I first started this show, it felt a bit slow, I struggled through certain episodes because it felt quite long through some of them. Thankfully I've gotten through most of it and I will say it was definetly worth my time. At first, I was convinced that Munyeong's mother was Park Ok Ran, for the longest time it seemed possible. However, the twist of it being Park Haeng Ja was also a quick thought that I had. When it had happened however it still surprised me because it never really settled in much.
