The year is 2019. The 27 year-old Huang Yu Xuan terribly misses her boyfriend Wang Quan Sheng, who has been missing for two years and is presumed dead. Her birthday wish for this year is to "see him."
The year is 1998. The 17 year-old Chen Yun Ru is in love with a boy who doesn't feel the same way for her. Her birthday wish for this year is to "become the girl Li Zi Wei likes."
One day, Huang Yu Xuan receives a walkman and a music cassette from an unknown person. She falls asleep listening to its songs and wakes up to see Wang Quan Sheng sitting by her side. She believes she has finally been reunited with her boyfriend, but there's a very big twist. She learns that she is no longer a 27-year-old woman but a high schooler named Chen Yun Ru, who is in the hospital recuperating from a head injury. And the man by her bedside is not her boyfriend after all, but a schoolmate named Li Zi Wei.
Trapped in what appears to be the past, living another person's life, Chen Yun Ru's death in 1999 will be Huang Yu Xuan’s death if she doesn't figure out how the girl landed in the hospital.
All the while, Li Zi Wei finds himself strangely drawn to the girl who used to be Chen Yun Ru, despite the fact that he knows his closest friend Mo Jun Jie has had a crush on her... Can true love find a way to bridge a seemingly insurmountable time gap?

While the premise of More Than Blue is not focused on time travel, I couldn't help but notice the similarities in tone and structure while watching Someday or One Day. Both dramas go back and forth between the past and present, although in More Than Blue this is conveyed through flashbacks rather than time travel. There is also a significant song that plays a crucial role in both stories. In terms of romance, both dramas feature a main couple dealing with heartbreak and the challenges of moving on.
Yeesa has time-traveled through time and space to change her destiny many times, but this time, she wakes up a year later to find herself in a timeline where the people she used to know aren't exactly who they were in the previous timeline. Feeling lost and out of place in life, she tries to find her way back only to encounter different variables this time that might change her destiny once more.
Similar story 2 ML & 1 FL, friends from younger days until they getting older. A twist of youth love along the way. Ray Zhang too adorable as always! Both movies a must watch movies with different story line. Inseparable childhood friends Shou Heng and Cheng Shing have their world thrown into chaos when a new girl comes to town and falls for Shou Heng.
-Both have time travel, time overlaps, where the main characters try to change a negative future outcome.
-Both have thriller aspects, in My Deepest Dream there is a case we get to follow throughout the series.
-Deep love and Romance beyond just one time and space.
-Both dramas have similar feels to them.
-Good OST in both dramas.

Mizushima Toru is a former literary youth who lives a dull office worker life. One day, he receives an invitation and visits Kaede Inno Flower Shop. The owner, Mochizuki Hayato, is curt and blunt, and suddenly offers three flowers, saying, "choose what you like". Toru chooses one, tears off the petals, and for some reason finds himself in a high school classroom! In a panic, he searched around to find out what was going on, and found a diploma with "March 1, 2013" written on it. "Congratulations on your graduation" is written on the blackboard. What a time leap 10 years ago. The woman who appeared there was Toru's first love, Shindo Kasumi. However, the bitter past cannot be changed, and only regret remains. Hayato said "There are 7 tickets left for fate". With 7 more time leaps, will he be able to redo past regrets and fulfill his first love?!
Both have similarly dark time travel/alternate universe plots. What starts off as an interesting back-to-high school hook soon develops into something far more grave. Also, the acting and production of both is very high quality. If you can stomach seeing people who are mentally in their 20s-30s falling in love with high schoolers, then go for it and watch them both.
