Wen Ye is upset that his daughter plays with a corrupt official like Feng Xi. Feng Xi forgets his date with Dong Yue. Zi Yuan gets a letter about Dao Le and she betrays Feng Xi to save him. Fang Yuan finds the weapons and Feng Xi shows up to investigate as well, but the weapons are set on fire. Zi Yuan saves Dao Le. Dong Yue figures out that Feng Xi is pitting Zuo against Lu Yuan Tong.
