Extracurricular (2020)

If you like the leads getting involved in criminal acts you will like Byakuyakou. Though this last one takes the criminal side to the next level.

Same idea of perfect students committing crimes, but World of kanako focuses on the search of them. Even though extracurricular is dark, world of Kanako is darker.

The antihero goes through immoral actions and try to justify their actions with a higher purpose. Both dark, exciting and bloody.

-both have similar aspects such as high schooler's exploiting people for money,
-both have a dark view on how people really act when it comes to the temptation of money.
-they are both serious and devastating, both show the dark side of prostitution/rape

Extracurricular and influence genre is suspense. The conflict involve teenager.

A crime-thriller series in which some seemingly normal-looking students are actually engaged in an illegal after school activities in order to provide some extra (or in some cases, they're only source of) cash. Gangs are also a part of the story.

Both have that psychological & high school elements to them. They are not the same though, Extracurricular is not an anthology. But it centers around high school kids doing illegal activities.

Both of these dramas focus on the lives of people involved in selling others or themselves in the sex trade and how they are slowly destroyed by the brutality of the business.

In both dramas:

- Dark themes
- Main character has dysfunctional family
- Questions morality (has a reason for what they're doing but can't decide whether to stop or continue)
- Both centered around illegal activity (gangs/drugs/prostitution etc.)
