My Girlfriend is an Alien (2019)

Romance between a cute innocent alien and a cool handsome ceo. From the very beginning you can tell that the man has soft spot for the girl which is really cute. They both has to go through a lot of hardship such as family disapproval, appearance of rivals and many more but in the end they will always end up together. I can guarantee that the drama is really hilarious and the chemistry between both main lead is just amazing. You can tell and feel how much they love each other which make them a good actor and actresses.
P/s i really love the way they promote when we were young(the female lead first drama) through this drama?

Cute lighthearted romcom

Likes: the buttoned up ML's chemistry with the adorable sweet FL. The FL's cute hairstyle. It's light and fluffy

Dislikes: There's a freaking talking turtle in this drama. Also, too many filler scenes that I wound up skipping cuz I just didn't care

I love me some love/hate romance as it creates that tension between the leads that I find so addicting. Here you have the uptight buttoned up ML who has a memory problem due to a trauma and the sweet adorable alien FL who winds up getting into his space. The two have some chemistry especially on the ML's side as his intensity is a bit hot.

I loved when the two were in the same scene and couldn't care less when they were not. I thought the progression was a bit frustrating as well. I felt like they tried to stretch out the tension between the two for too long that it kept going in circles that started to get a little boring. Also, I could have done without the talking turtle as well. Was a bit corny.

But the overall tone was light and fluffy and the chemistry had me hooked, so I found it an easy watch.

This drama...wawww I like it. the music, acting, romance, seriousness.omgod.... I cant..
I'm listening to the song rn ...ending song while typing and it's making me cry. I love the ending. I like how they created a solution to the problem instead of showing the solution without explaining it. At first, I was likee... what's with the title..so OA. I first saw this drama on IG. it just keeps popping out on my feed and I began to like it. So...instead of finishing my other drama...I started watching this drama. and I did NOT regret it at all. It's been a while since I watched a Chinese drama and I like how this drama gave me the chance to watch Chinese drama again.
I love the cast, and the leads especially the other supporting cast. They were amazing <3
I just wish they didn't give too much info in the introduction of the drama and end. It's kind of spoil so like whenever I watch another episode, I check which part I haven't seen and I just keep waiting for that part to come. So.....but it was good. showing parts with music <3

I loved this show! I saw come clips on Facebook and was kinda intrigued on it! So I decide to go watch it, I was actually so addicted to this, I found it soo interesting.

Like a alien girl and like a really good looking like CEO! Of course I would like to watch this. I think Thassapak Hsu who is Fang Leng in the show was such a good looking character and actor in general, he portrayed the Boss, CEO look really well! -

I loved Chai Xiao Qi played by Wen Peng! I think she was such a good actor and the little turtle! I loved the turtle, I thought he was so cute, and the mother figure who took her in and let her stay in the shop! I really liked her as well!

I think it's definitely worth the watch, and I hear a season two is coming out so would love to see what happens next!

I'm not sure where to begin with this drama! I loved the first half. The ML and FL had such great chemistry together. FL was pretty and adorable and her antics with the ML were hilarious, yet sweet and innocent. ML was handsome (swoon-worthy smile!!) and charming and his reaction to FL was perfect too. There were definitely a lot of laugh out loud comedic and sweet moments.

Midway through though, it started to get really long because there was no resolution to ANYTHING. The obsessive ex-girlfriend and mad scientist never stopped being evil for 25 episodes, the evil stepmother and uncle were relentless for 27 episodes (I never could understand that one because the father treated the stepmother's son well and wasn't out to short change him), the FL one minute was crying for the ML (like heartbreak crying) and then the next minute she rejects him and acts like nothing is wrong (bright cheery smiles), which happened multiple times throughout the drama (did she like him or not?), and ML never finds out she's an alien until episode 26 (even though she's frozen time and done other things). I got so frustrated I ended up fast forwarding through episodes and just watched for the ML and FL.

The last 2 episodes though were gems and basically redeemed the drama. ML finds out FL is an alien and there's true communication and FL finally commits to ML (FINALLY). We finally get to see how heart warming, and genuine ML and FL's relationship could be and I have to say ML's acting chops were impressive (turn on the water works). The ending was well done and I'd love this drama if it were 10 episodes shorter!!

The most underlined of this story is the acting of the two main characters. The acting of the main male character at MGIAA is extraordinary. That's what makes me drift with the story even though this kind of story actually has many versions in Korean dramas.
If you are looking for a drama with a light story, a character who indulges in visuals, and their acting is no less impressive, this drama can be your choice. I really like watching back funny and adorable scenes because their acting is very natural. The scene when Xiao Qi teased Wan Peng was really a scene that also tempted me to do it. Because of the two of them, I also drifted into the story until the end. Watching for the second and third times also feels like it won't waste your time.

i swear to the aliens above that
this show is one of the best CEO dramas i have ever watched.
i have watched this within 3 days since im in quarantine with everyone else.
i got super super attached with the characters especially the main 2 and like can i just say that fang leng is just super duper hot like hormones please calm down. xiaoqi is super cute and just so silly and naive. fang lie is just that typical loyal best friend and bro that would understand all of your harships. and i really want that hormone perfume :(
seeing christoper lee (fang shi da, their dad) in this show is so weird because his acting is like based in singapore because his family is in singapore and ive watched his dramas growing up (because im singaporean) so its soooooo weird to see him in mainland china drama and with his voiced changed D:
anyways the plot has many ups and downs and seriously thrilling... i recommend everyone to watch this and DEFINITELY recommend this to any of your friends who are planning to enter our world of cdramas!!

COMFORT DRAMA

Finally I havee finished this ! It took me years to watch this properly until the last episode .. I started to watch this a years ago but was not able to finish it and I must say this is my comfort drama ! every this is just playful and fluttering ! this drama is so light, that during the problems that is needed to be resolved by this couple in the story, there are suddenly funny moments that make me feel this drama is very easy, very simple , no needed perfect editing since it is a fantasy everything is easy to understand the timing of the story just fits and the cast is just really perfect as they are !
Xiaoqi was very cute and very light innocent girl , I really liked her and also Feng Lengs character fits on her everything is just light and beautiful like everything ! simple but perfect
too bad that Mr. Han is replaced in Season 2 😔

everything in this drama is outstanding! (do not read the last part if u haven't watched it yet)

this used to be my most fav drama ever. it never fails to make me cry no matter how many times i watch it. it also took me long to move on from this. the storyline was also unique, it made me want to be an alien like xiaoqi, she's really cute for an alien btw. her powers and her attraction to hormones affected me so much. now, when i see abs, i get attracted too. fang leng was also so hot and has the cold hot ceo vibes. if u're into business romantic comedy fantasy, i recommend you to watch it! they are a great couple with a good chemistry, too bad the leading man is already married.

The content of the story was really interesting from the usual drama I watch. I like it the idea they add the theme of alien and amnesia in a romance story. Also, the main characters have an incredible chemistry in this story which I really like it . It makes me being into the story as I watch the drama. Furthermore, the background music is so beautiful to listen, especially it's one of the main character that sing it :). He has an incredible voice of singing. His song 爱所当然 I listen over and over again as I feel so relaxed to listen to a gentle voice. I will recommend to people to watch it.

I don't usually watch chinese dramas but after watching this WOW i will start patronizing Cdrama. This is superB. So if you are looking for a drama to watch while we have lots of time during this pandemic please do consider this. You will not regret. I love everything about it. I even can't hold my smile, laugh,tears,heart beat, while watching every episodes. Hoping forward for another team up of the lead actors. This made me believe that even your memory forgets the one you love, your heart will not. Now, i want to experience how get fall inlove despite of my differences and flaws. This is great and highly recommended?

This is an absolutely cute drama. The actors did very well bringing their characters to life. It is a light-hearted fantasy romantic comedy with a female lead full of cute silliness, a child like personality, and emotionally challenged due to the fact that she is an alien. Even so, her character starts to warm up towards the male lead that, under the façade of a cold personality, falls deeply in love with her. The main leads interactions are full of hilarious circumstances and some heart tugging moments. The only criticism about the drama is that their romantic moments were toned down. The male lead was great in creating the right atmosphere but the female lead was too shallow when kissing. Having said that, the leading actors have a good rapport and beautiful moments as they embrace each other. Overall, it is a fun, lighthearted drama to watch. Enjoy it!
