Both dramas are written by the same screenwriter, both involve a male lead being entangled into supernatural events in which he needs to unravel mysteries to get him and/or his loved ones out of trouble. Both are about escaping from fate in an attempt to manipulate certain rules or principles that bind the supernatural events.
in both dramas:
*gaming/virtual reality theme
*ML is good gamer, long time in this and now owner/boss of company/team in this field
*ML is self confident, cold, arrogant and focused on business/goal
*ML had close friend/partner with whom he was starting in gaming field, but now he is rival
*FL falls in love first, chases ML but he isn't interested long time, isn't focused on romance at all
*ML is older and more experienced then FL, and they are very different people (nothing in common, at list for first look)
I think Memories of the Alhambra is better drama, more complex, interesting, dramatic and overall on another level though both dramas are really good and catchy
