This drama deserves all the stars.

This drama has a very inspiring and cute storyline. We see a grumpy man turn into a happy loving person because of a girl that makes his world go round. The songs in this drama are also so addicting. I have never skipped the intro!! I highly recommend this drama if you want a cheesy romance with alot of bromance and teamwork. We see alot of character development as well with han hangyan

The only cons about this drama which are, the fact THAT IT ENDED!!!
So in conclusion I give this drama a 9. And the only reason it is NOT a 10 is because I didn't really like tong nian that much ???

Totally Recommend for Everyone!

Story - 9/10: I thought it was paced pretty well, slow at times but bearable. Thought the drama, I loved to see how the main guy lead slowly let down his guard and let a bright girl in his life. I think both of the character's personalities fit really well together. I think the girl lead is too naive and innocent at times so I guess it sometimes made me frustrated. I feel like with this type of series, you shouldn't binge the whole thing through. I had a hard time trying to fit multiple episodes a day because it was long and dense. Instead, I took many breaks and slowed down my pace and it really helped me enjoy this drama.

Acting/Cast - 9/10: This is my first time watching a drama that these actors had play in. I am incredibly in love with the person that played Demo. He became my favorite character and I applaud him for winning so many people's heart <3 I couldn't get over the drama after I finished so I ended up watching the behind the scenes videos and all the casts were having fun with each other and they displayed great chemistry off camera as well.

Music - 10/10: The music was great. I feel like it might've been the best part. It really provided a great experience with watching the series. My favorite has to be the opening song. It was completely captivating. When I went onto Youtube, the song popped up on my recommended with the main guys from the CTF K&K team. They all sang the opening song and I got goosebumps all over.

Rewatch - 7.5/10: It is too long to rewatch the whole thing again. I feel like if I watched it a second time, the same feelings that I watched it the first time would be gone. I don't want to get sick of this so I'll just leave it sweetly in my memories. If I miss this a lot then I'd just watch clips or I'd skip a lot of scenes.

It was exceptionally well done and it was my first Chinese e-sport drama. I know there are many others and I'm looking forward to watching more within this category. Lastly, there is one thing that I absolutely have to complain about. The main female lead's clothing is horrendous. I understand that she had to wear bright colored clothing to contrast with the black color clothing for the main guy lead but the style is NOT it. The stylist did a terrible job. I cringed every time I saw her outfit. If you could ignore that part, it would be a good watching experience for you.

I really loved this series. At first i was reluctant to watch it because the last esports themed cdrama I watched is the King's Avatar so I was expecting that it will be focusing more on the games. What disappoints me was the first few episodes and i kept on pressing ff since i'm not really into the love at first sight thingy. But i'm glad i continued watching it because i could have missed half of my life if i didn't.

I love how the story went. It also talks about dreams friendship family and love. And what tugs at my heart is their reconciliation. I also love the OSTs which were very touching. And the leads are oozing with chemistry. I became a fan after a few episodes! ☺️

Inspiring Drama

Hi there, I just finished watching this drama. I am very sure, for those watching this drama, you can feel the emotion and the storyline also is quite good. Love, family bonding, true friendship values, determination, and hard work blend together, and the actors in this drama manage to pull every aspect of the drama very well. Kudos to the director for bringing e-sport love to the viewers and somehow manage to convey that playing games also can be considered a professional job.
I love to see the development of the character and how the lead manage to grow in the relationship..and not forgetting the reminder do not to drive if you are drunk,
A bit stereotype, when you are a PHD student, the guy need to be sloppy. You can be smart and stylish too. Anyway, nice effort. Love Han Shanyang dan his team mates.

Blitzed through it so fast, was hooked in from the first few episodes and had to see it through even though it was a predictable love story. And now considering, not too much unnecessary drama like you see in other dramas. When the main couple are on screen together, the chemistry is turned right up and I see them caring for each other in subtle and silent ways. But when Han Shang Yan goes into jerk mode, it's really hard to connect with the couple and it falls apart. Definitely the up and coming contemporary drama that’s light, full of warmth and love. If you’re looking for something on par with Love020 or even My Mr Mermaid, this would be it. There are things to love and things to hate, but overall it leaves you with a lasting good feeling! 

Things I love
Han Shang Yan was amazing as he was and I love the black outfits. He did really well for a character that had a very antagonistic personality. Tong Nian did just as well as a ditzy, naive and very pure girl. The couple chemistry was really great and I could feel the cuteness oozing from them. Would have loved more couple moments. The whole idea of the Capture the Flag (CTF) competition, love at first sight and even the friendship ties can be commended and was done relatively well. The whole story revolved around CTF and unfortunately, it wasn't explained too well. But a very interesting concept and something I had never heard of before. The love at first sight was a classic and I love the play on that for the first few episodes. The friendship bonds and also the past interlinking with the present was done well, though flashbacks had one too many (easy to skip over though, you don't miss much). And the past was a bit what... a bit of a no big deal. 

Oooh and I also absolutely loved the whole candy motif throughout. It was amazing and worked really well for character building and solidifying. Giving Han Shang Yan a unique quirk that defines him and can sum him up in a few words. Loved that candy tin and how it appeared throughout the whole thing. 

My main concern
The plot or lack of plot or more like drag and unnecessary filler episodes. The first 18 episodes were stellar and very nicely done. Then we went on a whole tangent of Han Shang Yan being a jerk until 28ish episodes and that really put a dent in the storyline and actually detracted from the romance and the overall plot. And while that was happening, they decided to add this superficial romance between two side characters that was so awkward and unnatural. I wouldn't say they rushed the ending, but I feel like it could have been planned out a whole lot better. The whole CTF competition faded into the background and suddenly it wasn't that important who won or lost. The story had such a strong start and the couple chemistry was amazing, so I question why the breakdown in plot happened. It definitely brings down the rewatch value.

Music
Songs were amazing and loved both of them singing their tunes. Downloaded the soundtrack right away to listen to, very inspirational and emotional. And I love how they added them singing songs too. So cute, couple goals.

I’d definitely binge the first few episodes to around 18 including their first aquarium trip out to Hawaii. That was pure gold and I absolutely loved seeing Tong Nian chasing Han Shang Yan. And seeing them bond, really bond. Then I’d skip episodes 20-30 completely irrelevant and super frustrating. Just a mid subplot that added no value and was like what...? The ending did get messy and felt like a rush to the end or even an ending that wasn’t thought out carefully enough. Like they weren’t sure how to exactly end the love story. But definitely rewatching cute moments because their chemistry was hot but also very endearing at the same time.

Overall I can say a solid drama with some good cute acting. And funny scenes that make it super lighthearted, nothing too heavy.  Very contemporary drama about growth, learning to forgive and friendship and love. Some really nice themes underlying the whole drama. Just be prepared for the drop and lag in plot midway - just skip through it! As always keen to hear your thoughts! xx

Li Xian as Han Shang Yan = LOVE + SWOON

I really love this drama. Or rather, to be more accurate, I really love Li Xian as Han Shang Yan in this drama.

Watch because:
- if I haven’t said it clearly enough above - Li Xian is too cute, too hot, too manly, too sexy, too OMG LOVE!
- his character, Han Shang Yan, is awesome
- plot is engaging and interesting enough
- plot is quite fast-paced
- there are many funny, lovable, exciting, cute, heart-stopping sexy Li Xian moments in this drama

Female lead isn’t anything to shout about, IMO. But well, watch for Li Xian and the good plot.

Love is just about two hearts meeting each other ☺️❤️

Like honestly, from the very starting I was not expecting anything. I just saw its rating, Hu Yi Tian and started watching it?. Starting was cold, but slowly it started to become interesting. The way the story is written is very cool. I really didn't understand what CTC was; I actually thought that it's just some computer game like COC or something. But then I felt that its something different. And to actually understand the dept of the series it's important to understand that game too.. so I started to Google search it and finally I got to know it's a high level cyber security game where the other team needs to crack the coding created by the defending team.
SERIES REVIEW : According to me, the pace was perfect, there was no unnecessary drama. The comedy timing was perfect. And I literally go mad when I see Nian Nian Nian drinking. My Goodness, she is so funny ??, cute, full of life, cheerful, and a happy soul . Han on the other hand, is cool, calm, composed, just know the perfect way to solve any situation ?. The actors playing the CTC were also very good; like in both the way.. acting and looks too ?. Hu Yitian, as he is..cool and impactful. Also, people of SP were good to. As it is shown that they are senior players, and the choice of the actors for those characters was really nice.
HAN SHANG YAN (LI XIAN) : I think that the way this man performed..was just fantastic. The way he was able to bring changes in his character as the storyline go forward..its something to be appreciated. The sole of the character was same, but still by staying in company with Nian Nian, he was changing a bit everyday. He was becoming a bit warmer everyday. The best part was when Nian Nian got drank for the first time when she went to give him the pendrive. That was funny, like literally.
On one side everyone was even afraid to talk to Han; and on the otherwise its Nian Nian..who can do anything to him??❤️.
But the game changer was GrandPa and somewhere DT??.
The best thing was that, even though they were not in actually relationship at the starting..but still Han was ready to take his responsibility as her bf till they break up (I hope this kind of person actually exist). Best thing was, they never broke up or we can say that he was brave enough not to give up❤️.. that's what actually love needs..a never-give-up attitude ❤️.
Last but obviously not the list...love the ending..love the drama..love everything about it.. happy that I started to watch Cdrama❤️.
Most important thing...LI XIAN IS ???

Just a few of my thoughts...

I find it so interesting how drastic the opinions are on this one. People either LOVE it or absolutely hate it. If this starts out slow and you feel like giving up, hold on. It all comes together and its all so great. This story is not predictable at all and i never knew what would happen next but i stayed for the ride. This isn't much of a review and just mire of my thoughts on this drama. This is my first C drama so i wasn't really sure what to expect but I loved it. I loved it, even though I skipped so much of it. The flashbacks for me entirely too long and mostly not needed. The acting was done so well that without me having to watch all the boring flashbacks, i was still able to understand the importance and impact their past friendships had on their current selves. I thought the idea of following your dreams and the passage of time were conveys so well. This idea of growing up. This was all done so greatly. The interaction between the K&K boys was olaying cute and fun. The felt the passion these kids had for this sport. Gun God was such a great mentor, The OTS sooo sooo good. The romance on the other hand started out a hot mess. Little squid was soooo stinking cute. I actually thought i would hate her because she was soo cute but it worked so well. FL legit simped the entire drama, but for some reason I was okay with it. Gun God fine as fuck y'all haha so that's probably why i was okay with it. But when he finally committed, it was beautiful. His strong sense of nationality was also really sweet. I loved listening to him speak. ML and FL chemistry was off the charts. This was looong but so worth it. The parts that i enjoyed, i enjoyed immensely.

A drama that will inspire you to strive your dreams even though you feel hopeless.

It took me half a year to watch this drama and tbh I regret not watching it earlier. At first I was kinda hesitant to watch it because I'm not into sports or esports related drama but this drama is different. I really thought it's gonna be boring or cliche but it is not. What I like about this drama is how it focused not only the cute story of the main leads but the thought of striving your dreams even if you there's something holding you back, don't be afraid to take second chances and there's nothing wrong about taking risks. If you want a drama that will inspire you or motivate you even if you feel hopeless, you should watch this.

STORY: I really like the flow of the story it is realistic and interesting.
ACTING/CAST: They have their own unique personalities but some of them are pretty annoying but it's tolerable .
MUSIC: SERIOUSLY THEY HAVE THE BEST OSTS,, *chef's kiss*
REWATCH VALUE: I don't find myself rewatching this again bc the angst part stresses me out.
