Very strong start. Great chemistry between the two main leads. However, character and story development rather let me down towards the end. But overall, very solid drama.

Disappointing

The ending was SO disappointing and this entire episode is just a slow recap of the whole show. I was expecting a resolve, not a weird time jump which didn't do much for the characters imo. This episode was slow and tedious to watch and the ending of the series itself felt incredibly rushed. It was as if the writers themselves didn't know how to end the show.

Just no.

Don't do it! I gave it a 5/10 because I only enjoyed the first half. I will admit that I did really like the first half quite a bit, the second half was a dumpster fire that should never have been made. Save yourself the time and don't watch it or at least stop at episode 8 or something. Disappointing character growth and a horrible ending.

"Stand by your man..."

Aquela legenda tava errada. 😂

Jung Hae in's crying is so contagious

I know this might be my 8th kdrama I am finishing watching, so yes I am not an expert of kdramas, however, I will say JHI's crying is one of the most contagious and painful (in a good way) acts of all doramas i've seen till now.
Whenever he started weeping I couldn't control myself, and there i was having tears rolling all over my face.
Son Ye-jin is so beautiful, I really hope to find a drama where she plays a villain, she is so good in everything.
With that aside, let's talk about Something in the Rain, unfortunately it does not do a great job with its characters and narrative.
It became very frustrating how every conflict is built and poorly solved. I would be more worried to know what would happen next in the Jin-a's office and job than what was about to happen to the main couple.
There are a lot of hateful characters and they are amazingly executed, kudos to all the actors involded, like really I was analyzing my anger issues at some point because I could not take anymore longer to see these characters having their bad endings.
Honestly, I don't like this feeling and it was predictable, first thing when I saw it was by Ahn Pan Seok and I already knew it.
Closing this review, I love the scenes with the main couple but it is so bad how that they have 0 communication levels and it shows, and it's so frustrating.
Besides that, they have really good chemistry I really liked all the suffering parts. I love how that just comes along with every kdrama romance, and I will possibly make a binge watching of JHI' s filmography.
