Both are Chinese youth dramas with similar story lines - slightly awkward, not-standardly-pretty high school girl befriends handsome high school boy(s). In the case of A Love So Beautiful, expect a story a little more similar to Playful Kiss/Mischievous Kiss, but not a remake.
-FL very forward about her love for the ML
- ML is cold but slowly becomes sweet
-cute and bubbly female lead
- ML is cold but slowly becomes sweet
-cute and bubbly female lead
Both main leads have a mutual crush/love that lasts from high school until graduation. The main leads are also in the same friendship circle, which started because they were deskmates. In both dramas, the male lead is smarter than the female lead and helps her out in her studies. Both of them had problems during their university time.
The male leads are both really smart and not good at expressing their emotions. The female leads are lovable in their own ways; Chen Xiaoxi is cute and adorable while the female lead in Attention, Love! is more serious and really good at portraying first love. The male second leads in both dramas are SLS-worthy.
Both are dramas about school life. Both damn cute <3 Both have good looking male leads, and male lead very smart. Lastly, both have romance.
-same actress, shen yue is really good in this series.
-romcom (romance and comedy)
-4 lovely and handsome guys with a short girl its sooo adorable

Similar in the way that the female lead is the one chasing after the male lead. Both female leads are very bubbly while the male leads are cold and shut people out. Intense love is not a school setting but instead between an actress and handsome male doctor. In both you get to see the female lead slowly grow on the male leads and watch their love blossom. I loved ALSB and I also really enjoyed Intense Love!!
The storylines don't completely match, but so far this drama has reminded me of A Love So Beautiful. Completely recommend. I am also recommending this because it says that The Love Equations is a spinoff of this drama. You have to watch this drama it's seriously amazing. One of my top five favorites.
Both stories portray the innocence of first love. The pacing of both the stories are similar. The romance develops at a comfortable and beautiful manner. No unnecessary drama or negativity. Interpersonal relationships between all the different characters are beautiful and adds more depth to the story. Amazing job by the entire cast and team.
ALSB is a sweet and wonderful "variation" of Itazura Na Kiss and its many adaptations. This Chinese variation dedicates about 60% of the show to life in high school and 40% to life as college students and as young professionals, up until they decide to marry. What's special about this C-version is that the male lead shows interest in and cares about the main girl from the onset. At the beginning, he cares in his own quiet ways; then he slowly comes to terms with his feelings and to expressing them. The Thai adaptation "Kiss Me" was excellent. Both variations, the Taiwanese "Attention Love!" and the Japanese seasons 1 and 2 of "Good Morning Call" were good too, but ALSB does a better job in explaining the male lead's personality and decisions. Seriously, ALSB is a sweet show...
