Meteor Garden (2018)

If you loved Dylan Wang as Dao Ming Si, then you’ll love the character Xiang Long. They are very similar- entitled, temperamental, impulsive and childish but somehow they grow on you. Both lead roles start their relationship off with a tumultuous beginning that slowly warms up. XL is a bromance and focuses on the brotherhood that grows between the two LM. Whereas MG is a romance but has an established brotherhood.

It sounds so different in plots but common points are between the two shows:
-Female leads are bullied in university
-Female lead trapped in love triangle
-First male lead is so jealous from the relation of female lead with other male lead
-Nice male leads but hide their real personality
-Female colleagues are jealous from the female lead and pretend to be nice to her
-Leads in their twenties
-Male lead tend to be lonely having few friends
-Male lead is popular in the university
-Male lead always caring about the female lead
-Male lead coming from a rich background
-Female leads are confused towards the male lead

Both Dramas tell the high school drama at a prestigious school and how the main leads fall in love with each other. The supporting leads also contribute to the story line. The acting and appearance are similar as they deal with family struggles. My favorite drama for the last 2 years Meteor Garden 10+.
