Școala 2017 (2017)

This drama functions as a very thought-provoking critique of the Korean school system!

It's been a good few years since I saw this, but the instant I saw the title one of the first things that came to mind was how much I loved the characters. I adore Eunho Ra; she's adorable, vivacious, and fun. I also thought her dynamic with Taewoon Hyun was interesting and refreshing. Additionally, I thought that their chemistry was good and realistic. Taewoon himself was a great character and I remember thinking positively of him.

Because it's been a while since I've seen this show, I can't quite remember the specifics of my thoughts, but I do remember being impressed by its commitment to its core focus: showing the Korean school system for what it may often be. It actually comes across as rather shocking and scathing at certain points, which I feel made the drama both more informative and more intriguing.

As a whole, I recall enjoying this very much. I hope I can revisit it sometime soon.

I cant stand it

I started watching this drama when it was airing, I'm a big fan of the saga "School", so I was so exited about this drama, but at that time I couldn't finish it because it was so frustrate for me since episode 1. Of course when I decided to drop it I didn't know Sejeong was there (either Roowon) so, yesterday I decided to give it another chance and idk if it's 'cause I'm 25 years old, maybe I'm too old for this kind of dramas, (wich it can't be, cause when I watched it for the first time I was 18, their age and i didn't like it either) but I can't stand it anymore.

Sejeong's character got me on my nerves, I think she is WAY SO dumb and the fact she was always on the way it's ridiculous. I mean anything bad situation that was happening she was there and was acused unfairly. Also I hated professors, they were so corrupt that got me on my nerves too (maybe more that sejeong's character)

Kim Se Jeong has facial expressions so much like Gu Hye Seon that I thought there was a chance Kim could be her daughter. At least that's what I observed in the first few episodes. This my first time in the School series. While others are disappointed, I thought it okay, so far. I get the feeling I might be disappointed about the previous School series, because of expectations from my perspective after watching this. Who knows if one series can influence an opinion about others? Even my opinions are subjective depending on my mood. Speaking of series, there was Star Wars memorabilia in the room of the lead actor. The new 2 new Star Wars series on Disney has not disappointed , until you get to the end, where you want more.

I watched the previous parts in one breath, and in this episode I was drawn a step away from abandoning. After the first few good episodes, somewhere from the middle, the story began to limp. I started to watch because of the promised thread of mystery, but he was weak too, scriptwriters as the main theme gave us mischief of a bored kid who wanted to punish a corrupt system in his school. Apparently, the ingenious execution could not attract my attention for longer. The only thing that forced me to get to the end of the drama is the desire to watch how the road to the main union ends.

Amo a série de "school"! 2013, 2015, 2017 ok, agora só falta 2021!
A ideia do querido fazer "pegadinhas" como justiça pelos estudantes é demais! Amo essa vibe!
Kim Sejeong está maravilhosa nesse drama!
Foi divertido de assistir em 2023, pois parte do elenco aturam novamente juntos nos dramas de agora!

It seems I'm the only one who's not into this drama seeing how many stars this series is getting. I made it up to episode 2 - ish. Well ish because I gave up half way. Maybe I'm just getting pickier now that I'm older.

The thing that got me is the heroine personality (not hating on the actress because surprisingly she's good). Its her character I have a problem with, I kinda wish she was the type that don't need someone to "rescue" her. I can almost predict what's going to happen before it did like in the first episode when the heroine fell from her bike and oh so romantically the hero was there to help and in second episode where I was hoping she would stand up when the wannabe mean girls clique confronted her. But instead yes you guess it the second guy was there to help. I was rolling my eyes so hard I could almost see part of my brain that actually care.

I do however like the main leads interactions. I even laugh few time.

*sigh* Maybe because I wasn't in the mood to watch these kind of plot after reading too many books with strong characters.

Will I be watching this again? I don't know. Maybe.. when and if I finally found my mood.

Couldn't appreciate the music since I only made it to episode 1 and a half.
