I don't give bad reviews to dramas because how bad a drama can be but there is always something interesting in each drama, BUT This is HORRIBLE!
I must say if you can't handle watching a senseless girl chasing total Jerk (i don't understand why in the world he is so arrogant) then it's a warning DO NOT WATCH IT!!! It's going to be total waste of your time.
I almost wait half of a drama that please give female lead her senses back BUT NO..why they do so? How will they able to proceed this drama.
All the time that male lead humiliates her and when she tries to stop chasing him, he kisses her,and she again fall for him. I MEAN WHAT THE HELL I AM WATCHING?!!!
I got frustrated and dropped it.
Don't waste your time for this nonsense storyline .

I have watched most of all the adaptations for this drama and here are reasons...I did not like it at all what so ever.

1. I don't like it how the main female was portrayed she wasn't even that dumb or stupid like she was suppose to be at all. Plus, she wasn't even that obsessed with him at all either.

2. Kim Hyun Joong's acting was terrible. he didn't suit playing noaki at all because he wasn't even a little bit that cold to her compared to the other verisons. I don't know if it was because I was to in love with the japanese anime at the time,but he didn't do it justice at all.

3. The girl who was playing Hae Ra was suppose to play either Sahoko or Naoki's fiance,but they for some reason decided it was a great idea to combine both the character and make her play both. Instead of getting another actress to play the other character like the rest of the versions which was to me lazy.

4.The story was too rushed all the scenes was all over the place and it was hard for me to keep up. When some of the scenes didn't happen in their correct order like in the anime,so it left me confused. Also, their was some unnecessary scenes like when Hani got mad at baek seungjoo and left the house,but later admitted her fault and came back home. Waste of time

5.It didn't stay true to the original or at least try. Their was also not enough comedy in it, it was like watching a sad documentary in school where just are not supposes to laugh or get you entertained.

Ну все мы знаем что, а конкретно, кто сподвиг половину зрителей начать смотреть эту дорамку. Я не исключение. Уж очень захотелось увидеть корейского "Рюи" в другой роли. Ожидания не обманули, здесь он почаще улыбается, озорует и вообще прелестен. Девочка тоже хороша, но уж роль у нее - дура-дурой Тут уж некуда не деться.
Начало вообще меня разочаровало, все та же школа, все те же типажи. Плюс местный поклонник главной героини в панковском стиле с друганами. У гГероини постоянно глюки, видать хорошо, а главное, постоянно, горели коноплянные поле вокруг школы.
Но потом, когда уже все действо переместилось в универ, стало поинтересней и поадекватней со стороны каждого героя. И вот так, тихо спокойно, без мыла, ползком - эта дорама влезла в мою душу. И 10 серий пролетело как один миг. Даже ловила себя на мысли, что этого позитивчика вечерком не хватает.
Но правда ж, они такие кавайные детки.
А еще понравилась главная соперница, но так в легкую соперница. Красивая девушка. Но умная. А г Герою такая не нужна

Just to start off this drama is just sad. Not going to lie I hated the male lead. 1 The female lead bothers me so she’s so mad in love with a guy that she doesn’t care about her future she’s failing all her class. I hate the male lead okay why is he do rude al least give her a little attention. This shows has a cycle first she’s goes to him and says she’s loves him then she try’s something to make him love her he doesn’t care of gets annoying then she swears not to love him he does something she does it again. You could skip episodes not minutes episodes and still understand what’s happened happening. Her family doesn’t have a home right so you would think she would get a job to help her dad out right nope she gets a job to buy the guy clothes that’s just sad. Okay so she failing so how does she get into college explain to me she’s an F student she doesn’t care for herself at all or she’s would of stopped. She would of been like I need to fix my life I need to care about my future she never does that. He rarely shows affection for her even when they are dating. He treats her like trash and she always comebacks to him she never did anything good for herself she does everything for him and him only. He couldn’t care less about her this show is so annoying I absolutely hate this drama I only continued and finshed it because I thought he would become kind but nope that never happens she lets herself get treated like trash how sad.

Finalmente acabou a minha tortura psicológica rsrs.

Eu realmente tentei de todas as formas dar uma chance pra esse dorama, mas realmente não consigo mais do que isso.

Apesar de eu não ter gostado, consegui terminá-lo em um tempo consideravelmente curto, acho que devido à muita vontade de não dropá-lo. Achei os protagonistas muito chatos na maior parte do tempo. A Hani é muito trouxa rsrs; passou o dorama praticamente inteiro correndo atrás dele e se humilhando feito uma abestada, ficando com a cara emburrada o tempo inteiro. Era vergonhoso e com o passar do tempo ficou muito cansativo de assistir. O mundo dela literalmente gira ao redor dele '-'.

E falando no indivíduo, que cara chato, Senhor. Quase pego ranço do ator, se é que não peguei. A partir da metade do dorama eu já não aguentava olhar pra aquela cara sem sal dele.

Outra coisa é o estilo de comédia com atuação MUITO exagerada. Sério, era muito vergonhoso ver cenas exageradas e sem conexão lógica. Apesar de parecer que tudo deu errado neste drama, eu consegui terminá-lo por causa de alguns personagens secundários que até gostei (Lee Si Young marcando presença como atriz maravilhosa) e também os 2 últimos episódios valeram a pena todo o sofrimento que passei assistindo aqueles dois.

Enfim, não recomendaria porque não gostei, porém, foi uma experiência um tanto inovadora para adquirir paciência e motivação pra continuar na minha missão de não dropar nenhum dorama por mais horrível que ele seja.

Gets repetitive and annoying

At some point you expect some character development, and by episode 10, OHN's stupidity and stalking tendencies got extremely annoying and unbearable, especially when everything felt like an exact repeat of the earlier episodes. I liked the moments where OHN got tired of BSJ and finally said she was giving up—I just wish that these moments lasted for more than ten minutes before she ran back to him. That was a big reason I liked episode 13 (post-marriage meeting) because that lasted longer.

Another thing that makes this super problematic appeared during the college years, when OHN planned her entire career and future around BSJ's. For someone like OHN who seemed to know who she was, this lack of identity and independence was just one step too far.

A lot of scenes started annoying me as they went on, too. OHN's clumsiness and stupidity and apparent lack of ability in ANYTHING got very tiresome. OHN's tennis scenes pissed me off, especially. I wish there was more character development and growth on her part as an individual. I wish there was more growth for BSJ too, and he addressed his mother directly about what she did when he was younger—I'm not sure why that part was talked about as "trauma" and made out to be such a huge deal when it was never going to be resolved.

Honestly, a lot of characters were annoying in this, and it seemed like many of them were exaggerated in some way. BSJ and OHN were okay, obviously, but Bong Joon Gu was also horribly desperate and irritating. Of course, I liked Eun Jo and BSJ's mother, but mostly as comic relief. I liked OHN's two friends as well, but I just wish they had more screentime and personality than just being the people who OHN always ran to to talk about her boy problems.

Plot-wise a lot of things are questionable, like the random and rushed marriage (that nobody even questioned) and the sub-plot of the guy who suddenly liked OHN who never showed up again after two or three appearances.

Playful kiss reseña

Este es otro de esos dramas junto con bof, personal taste, heartstrings que tienen una una nota muy baja. Empezaré diciendo que la historia en si no tiene nada de especial, más allá de lo de chica obsesionada con un chico popular y blabla muy usado en dramas antiguos la verdad. Los protagonistas a pesar de que reconozco que en el drama tienen una química buena a mi sus actuaciones no me terminaron de encajar la verdad. No me gustó el progreso de la historia, ni el romance etc aunque reconozco que tiene su punto y da justamente lo que se lee en la sinopsis. Pero más allá de eso no le veo nada destacable y para mí es un drama que no tiene especial.

OK i'm going to throw a scenario out here for you guys, do you ever have a drama that you felt guilty you have not watched yet that was me watching this. Playful Kiss was really great like I have no reason why i should not have watched this sooner.

Story:
The Basic premise around this story without going through into main spoiler territory is main female lead's house gets destroyed and moves into main male lead house. The story does get really better as the drama goes on. The romance did not feel rushed to me which is a really nice thing not to go into this drama worrying. The whole story as a whole i give a 8.5.

Acting/Cast:
I be rally honest this drama acting was great because of Kim Hyun Joong. Kim Hyun Joong was great in Boys Over Flower, and he is one of my favorites that i will watch anything of his. Jung So Min was pretty great as Oh Ha Ni she tried really great. The other cast was fantastic all around. Acting/Cast I give an 8.

Music:
OK the ost for this show actually is really fantastic i listened to it before writing this because we all have those moments that we listen to the ost after finishing a drama. The music i will give a 9.

Rewatch value/ Recommend:
Would i rewatch this? Simple Answer yes. I would love to go back to rewatch this because of Kim Hyun Joong because he one of my faves. I would recommend Playful Kiss to people who love Boys Over Flower, and or just starting getting into k dramas. My rewatch Value is an 8.

Overall:
Overall I give Playful Kiss a 9, I feel like a 10 would be great but there were episodes where I kinda flt a little bored (but that just me).

Every single woman is problematic

Well, I haven’t finished this one, but I know the story from watching others. The actors for this version are really good looking, it helps lure people into this otherwise dumpster fire. The most problematic figure is of course the FL. She’s just a weak character, but even so, was the actress good because she committed to rendering this clown without a shred of dignity? Or, is she a bad actress whose bad acting suited the childish mentality of the character? It is very difficult to say. The ML holds his end up, coming across as very stoic, but that isn’t hard to do when the other actors are on 111 every minute they are on screen. The whole thing reads like hot garbage. The director should have made some effort to balance the actor’s portrayals.
The most telling comment of the series is when the little brother calls FL stupid, then points at her friends and says with disgust “flock of the same.” All the females characters in the entire series seem to be the same clown in different makeup. Even the mother of the ML is petty and childish. It really is hard to forgive the overwhelmingly negative image of women in this story. The friends can barely be called that. They are mostly damaging —unapologetically loud, crass and never miss an opportunity to heap embarrassment onto the FL. It’s gross. It would be unexpected for the FL to learn or mature in this set up. From whom would she learn?

This is meant to be situational comedy. I’m not sure what would make this funny or give the characters more dimension. It’s just foolish. If you are still in your teens, maybe there is something worthwhile here to watch. These people have a mental age of roughly 13.
