not bad but not that good
I'm not going to lie, I didn't like this that much. Maybe it's because I watched it when I was pretty young, but still. also this may be biased because it's not really my cup of tea.so, the plot is solid. it's not overly complex to blow your brain up, so it has a level of simplicity. it is kind of confusing at first, but later you'll completely understand. i'm not gonna lie, the first few episodes were kind of slow, but it built up good pacing eventually. there was this one point in the middle when i really wanted to cry, but that's it. i don't see how it's sad, but maybe it's because i'm not a romance person? the acting is good, and if it wasn't, i probably wouldn't have felt teary eyed once. props to the main couple. i'm also not a fan of the character development here, for some reason.
i don't hate this, but i just find it mediocre. i don't see why people think it's a masterpiece. it's hard for me to grasp, but if you're looking for some nice sloooow romance, you can find it here.

Amazing Story
Don't let the length of this Drama sway you - I have a hard time keeping myself watching after 20 or so episodes as most long drama's begin to get silly - and the writers tend to drag the episodes- which was not the case in this drama. I had to have two starts to this drama. I watched the first five episodes and got 'kinda' lost - gave up and moved on. After watching 'snippets' of this drama on Youtube my curiosity was peaked again- I thought I would give it another shot. I re-watched from the beginning and got totally sucked in. I just love Yang Mi's acting in this drama - from here I found myself such a fan of hers. And, who doesn't like Mark Chao? In his long hair.... and the fact that his is connected to Canada. I did skip over the parts of Dilraba Dilmurat, and Gao Weiguang - I simply can't find a connection with these two - I know that Dilrabas character is immature in this story - but I just can't handle her whining (sorry I know a lot of people simply love these two)Considerați utilă această recenzie?

Epic and tragic tale
Bai Qian and Ye Hua aka chronic gatekeepers of vital information and their true feelings for one another. Ye Hua – King of gaslight, gatekeep, girlboss 🎀 Also… justice for my man Mo Yuan 😔✊🏻.Well… I finished this show. I understand why it is considered a classic. It’s an epic tale of a fated yet heartbreaking love. I thoroughly enjoyed it despite skipping through some parts I didn’t care about (the Winged Tribe lmao). Ye Hua is a male lead that I loved and hated if I’m being honest. This man never properly communicated with Su Su/Bai Qian, which was so annoying. He also forced himself onto her several times, which is… not great.
My girl Su Su/BQ went through so much pain in this show, and it really pissed me off how her pain was constantly invalidated and how her person was vilified. The Heavenly Tribe is one pretentious, hypocritical and annoying tribe. Ye Hua’s mother is on my hit list because she had the audacity to downplay my Qian Qian’s pain as if didn’t matter at all. As if didn’t matter how badly they treated her when she was a mortal, and how she lost her eyes simply because she was falsely accused (this made no sense: how would she 1) know where the Immortal Execution Platform even is? She was always locked away. 2) She was pregnant, ready to give birth. Why would she start beef with that witch Su Jin and push her down the platform? How would she, as a mortal, have the strength to fight the immortal SJ? Made no sense, and everyone lowkey knew. But they regarded her as less because she was a human.). Even when they found out that she was Su Su, they didn’t feel bad for their physical and emotional mistreatment and abuse. No, they feared that she might harm their darling Crown Prince. Always seen as the bad woman. The disrespect the Heavenly Tribe showed Green Hill will always piss me off.
I’m also so sad that my babes Dong Hua and Feng Jiu didn’t have a happy end ☹. I will have to watch their spin-off to cleanse my soul because their conclusion was so upsetting.
Another upsetting thing is the fact that we did not get a wedding?? I mean, yay, Ye Hua is back from sleeping, but give me the wedding you’ve been talking about for the last 30 episodes😭😭🎀… oh well.
The OST is iconic, I absolutely love it. Anyway, this was a rollercoaster of emotions: I laughed, I cried, and I yelled (anger and surprise because Ye Hua might have been a 70.000-year-old virgin when he fell in love with Su Su, but he was one horny Prince!). I can see myself rewatching certain scenes, but might have to skip the sad (and annoying) stuff... farewell peach blossoms🪷🌸.

im really not kidding. the storyline is amazing. the moral of this show for me is that we should treasure our lives no matter what. and the part where SS goes back to QQ and YH becomes a kid, they both showed consistent love which is what i really likethe casts are all very bonded if you watch behind the scenes, it made me enjoy the show more
the music is really nice, i saved them all to my chinese song playlist
i am really not kidding, i am super picky with my dramas and this is one of the top 3 in my chinese category.
really worth the watch and spend the time to watch 50+ eps

Something Made in China Worth Bragging About
Beautiful drama.Slow to start, but my interest immediately peeked when Feng Jiu encountered Dong Hua. (Episode 9)
Story is touching, heart-wrenching and fulfilling. Music is lovely. Pacing was never an issue, and the ending was satisfying, albeit not so much for the secondary couple, but definitely for the main couple. You'll love the costumes and feel deeply about the characters, positive or negative. This drama has set the bar so high, it's hard to find a competitor to top it.
It's only lesser quality trait is the budget CGI, however it was never a deal breaker. If you only wanted to experience a Chinese drama once in your life, make it this one.

If the 15 first episodes were nice : they kind of settle down eveything and the love story between A-Yin and the second prince made me cry, haha ; I got bored from ep 15 to 30 (particularly from 20 to 30). They are basically showing how Ye Hua and Susu misunderstand each other, thing they could have avoid with more communication and trust.
The episodes 30 to 58 were great though.
The chemistry between Ye Hua and Bai Qian was great, I don't have anything more to add, but I was amazed by the one between Dong Hua and Feng Jiu. Feng Jiu's sincerity touched me and I loved to see how Dong Hua opening up to her, episodes after episodes. Wish this couple was even more developped though.
This drama miss some scenes to me though, such as the one the Heanvely God meets Bai Qian with her Qing Qiu identity. I was really looking forward to watching this scene but it sadly never came.
I don't think I'm going to rewatch this drama but who knows, maybe I will, in one or two years.
If some people found the end sappy, compared to all the Chinese historical dramas, the end is very happy to me ! Don't be afraid and go watch it !

Good enough that I watched it x2
Warning: My opinions on the drama may not agree with everyone. Take this review with a grain of salt if you decide to watch this drama. Know that I am also a human like you, but as I do not have the same brain as you, a character you adore may be a character I dislike greatly.First things first, our two leads:
Bai Qian - While I really loved her character because she's actually relatable and realistic (like, she’s not the stereotypical ridiculously over-the-top kind female lead we always see where they literally just let the villains step all over them), her lives as Si Yin and Su Su where at times hard to watch. I couldn't handle how naughty she was when she was Si Yin (and caused so much problems that she indirectly causes the death of two loved ones), nor could I handle Su Su's meekness. My biggest issue with Su Su was when Ye Hua told her to not do something (i.e. leave the hut on Mount Junji, don’t commingle with Su Jin, the crazy obsessive villainess), and then she wouldn’t listen/do exactly what he told her not too. The first reason on why she didn’t listen, I can let her go on that. But the second one, not so much (and my mom agreed with me). Overall, it was refreshing to see a female lead who actually stands up for herself (when she’s Bai Qian) and make people who hurt her get payback (unless she has to look at the bigger picture).
Ye Hua – Like Bai Qian, I loved him. However, my biggest issue was the lack of communication on his part. As much as I loved Ye Hua, I also wanted to pull my hair twice (due to watching the drama twice) when he was given the cliché “secretly sacrificing” for the FL but does not expect anything back. His inability to properly communicate caused him loads (and caused my brain to hurt and my heart to ache for him and Bai Qian), just like how he never properly communicated with Su Su that he was a celestial and that’s why he’s gone months to years all the time.
Overall, my final verdict is that both actress and actor for Bai Qian (Yang Mi) and Ye Hua (Mark Chao) did a phenomenal job of even making the stone-hearted me shed a few tears.
Second things, the “key” secondary characters (and some ranting):
Feng Jiu – I warned you that my opinions may not align with yours. While I see many people saying stuff like “I loved Feng Jiu,” “I preferred Feng Jiu over Bai Qian,” etc., etc. I have to disagree. I could not dislike a character as much as Feng Jiu. She had zero self-worth and literally chasing Dong Hua (I’ll get to him in a bit) around. Additionally, she, in my opinion, had the least to no character development and was the most useless character in the sense that she added NOTHING to the main storyline. Don’t even get me started when Bai Qian leaves parting words to her that sounds borderline suicidal, and Feng Jiu’s first instinct is not to look for her Aunt Bai Qian (who she so claims to be close too) but instead go chase Dong Hua like a little puppy once she wakes up when the sleeping spell that Bai Qian put on her wears off. I dislike her character to the point where I believe that if Feng Jiu was not in the series, the story could still go on without her.
Dong Hua – While he didn’t have the zero self-worth issue like Feng Jiu, I was not a fan of him either. Can’t rip apart a stone-faced character besides the fact that I wished he would have just made his stance firmer with Feng Jiu instead of letting her hang around him like a puppy and caused her to be even more madly in love with him. There were many ways he could have handled their situation but failed to execute anything properly.
Su Jin – Can I say more? I hate her! And it’s not even just on the fact that she’s the villain, so I’m bound to hate her but like, woman, do you have no self-worth as well? Maybe her and Feng Jiu should have gone to attend sessions on how to love yourself and stop chasing a guy around despite him rebuffing you like 100x. At least for Feng Jiu, I could argue that Dong Hua does love her but has some “celestial” duty issues that prevents him from expressing it. However, for Su Jin, Ye Hua did not just sister-zoned her, he literally auntie-zoned her. And how can you even still love someone who literally says things to purposely spite you so that you would hopefully get into your thick skull that he is JUST NOT INTO you? Like, which part of that did she not get? So, did the actress do a good job portraying this obsessively in-love villainess? Of course, or else I wouldn’t have dedicated a part of my review to her.
Before this review gets out of hand with length, just wanted to give a shout out to the following supporting characters: Mo Yuan, Bai Zhen, Si Ming, Lian Song, Ah Li, Mi Gu, and Nai Nai. These were the top supporting characters that I definitely loved and actually enjoyed their presence when they were on-screen. Besides this, everyone did well with their parts (even if you make it on my annoying supporting characters list).
As for supporting characters that I did not enjoy, it would have to be these characters: Heavenly Lord, Li Jing (swear I made a mental tally count of how many times he said “A-Yin” as this was apparently the only thing Li Jing was capable of saying besides being slob of a Ghost Lord), Xuan Nu (she’s practically Su Jin’s twin in both obsessive much and crazy), Zhi Yue (she’s Ye Hua’s cousin and in my opinion, she’s seriously super annoying), and literally every other ladies on the show that would just have baseless crushes and obsessions over Ye Hua and literally throw themselves at him when it’s dead clear that he’s not interested.
Re-watch value? As the title of my review, I watched this drama two times (crazy I know but first time was when it first came out, second time was due to COVID and spending time with my mom as we both share the same love for some good Chinese historical/fantasy setting drama). While I enjoyed the drama both times watching it, the 2nd time of watching confirmed my issues/stance with the drama/characters.
P.S. My mom also enjoyed the show
P.S.S. And in case anyone is curious, the OST is great and definitely used appropriately for the scenes.

No Holds Barred Roast Review - Eternal Love
This series puts the CAPITAL D in DeerrrRama! It's basically like a longer version of one of those horrible, trashy American reality shows that make you feel cheap and dirty for watching it, but you can't stop, because deep down you love it and its fascinating like a train wreck. Except this show has a pretty good story, great acting, the highest of production values, beautiful Sets, long wigs and luxurious, gorgeous costumes. It looks "high class", so don't feel guilty for indulging in this dramatic love series set in Fantasy China. The look and feel of the series is just appealing. The story was long, but good, albeit predictable in spots. The more interesting discussion is the characters, which are fantastically portrayed. Everyone acts their hearts out, with the characters they are given. Now, nobody in their right mind would do what some of these characters did, but that's why this DRAMA is such a great, fun watch that I got invested and found myself yelling stuff at the Screen even while half my brain was logically telling me "you know they can't hear you, it's a show". Yup. The show is THAT good. So, on with the main and some supporting character roasts!
Mo Yuan - She could have been mine - You had her and knew her secret for centuries but did nothing, and you're supposed to be smart. *shakes head*
Ye Hua - Boyfriend Goals Saint - Initially I though the story would have her as the protagonist, but on watching this HE was the main hero, with every single virtue in full display. He ate the raw meat she fed him while in baby dragon form. Cooked for her. Married her. Stayed Loyal. Even tried to die for her, twice. If that's not boyfriend Goals, IDK what else could be on the list. In addition he is fine as hell, with that long hair spread over his shoulders, the pillow or whatever handy arm is within reach. Sinfully handsome, smart and a great kisser too. Needed WAY more shirtless scenes. Why anyone would have problems marrying or staying with him is a mystery. But then you have ...
Si Yin / Su Su / Bai Qian - Intractable Insecure Idiot - this is what happens to people when too much Alcohol has killed many of their brain cells. That and parents who didn't discipline her when she was younger, plus enabling family that lets her run wild = recipe for disaster Princess. I'm okay with being rebellious but she takes things way too far! Pouts when she doesn't get her way, rebels anyway and basically pisses off a lot of people by being herself. It's a good thing our Heroes are such saints, no normal guy would put up with this crap. She's the definition of the crazy - hot scale girlfriend. Also, what's up with that insecurity?? I don't know what else Ye Hua has to do to prove he loves you but you should stop doubting him all the time until he's taking his final breaths and then you're all holding him "Ye Hua" after you let him stand outside your house in the rain for 10 days while he was sick! Get it together, girlfriend. We're all rooting for you but could you sometimes take a break from being such and idiot? And stop drinking so much! You're either bi-polar or a functional alcoholic, which would explain a lot ...
The love triangle wasn't as much as expected, yet we STILL BADLY wanted 2 of the 3 to end up together. And they did. Happy Endings, hurrah!
Dong Hua - Stubborn Silver Fox - He should be called Emperor Heathcliff for all the long, brooding stares from those lidded eyes. Damn, you're so handsome with that long white hair, I can barely think straight when you're on screen. I would like to comb your hair too. With my fingers.
Bai Fengjiu - Lovesick teenager - so he saved you that one time and you've gone all hero worship love forever? Did your brains leak out of your ears or were you hit in the head too much as a child? Oh, it's because of his looks? Why didn't you say so in the first place!? I get that. But still, girl, he told you love is not in the cards. He chose that long ago. Why are you so stubborn? This couple is a straight out historical Chinese Harlequin Romance tragedy.
Su Jin - Manipulative Home Wrecker - He's just not that into you. Stop trying so hard! I know he has a title and status but the man is bonkers in love with someone else. It's not like there are NO other men in Heaven! 3rd Prince was still available last I looked but oh no, you had to go chase someone who's NEVER been and will NEVER be interested in you that way, because, face it, you've been SISTER-ZONED, which is kinda like friend-zoned, with those you consider family that aren't necessarily blood related. That's STILL better than being taken for granted, like a Pencil Case.
Li Jing Ghost Tribe Second Prince - Irritating Imbecile - He felt like the obligatory character who thinks with his pants instead of his brain. A little illusion and all his principles fell away along with his clothes. So he was caught! Big Oops! Then he married the home wrecker and killed any chance with Si Yin. But he messes up with new wife, new kid, his bro, his sis, his dad and his life too. Geez, can't you get at least ONE thing right? Poor guy.
Xuan Nu (Li Jing's Wife) - Another Home Wrecker - Honey, if you have to make yourself look like someone else in order to seduce a man and get him to sleep with you, best know that he doesn't love you and will turn on you the minute you show your real face. Seriously, all those handsome disciples isolated at Kun Lun mountain with very, very few women, and this is the best you can do??? Benefit of the doubt - maybe none of the Kun Lun disciples were stupid enough to sleep with you and Li Jing was your best bet.
Zhe Yan - Switzerland Boss Dealer - This neutral party and renowned doctor is also the major alcohol, amnesia potion and other drug trafficker in the worlds. Everyone asks for him! Everyone!
Bai Zhen (4th son) - Best Drinking Buddy - will start you gambling too. He and Zhe Yan would be the magical mafia syndicate, controlling drinking, drugs and gambling. Bai Zhen and Zhe Yan sometimes even do delivery!
Heavenly Lord Hao De - Someone with a Bedazzler went Berserk on his costume. It's fabulous!
Si Ming - Meddling Matchmaker - at least he had good intentions.
A Li - No filter kid - geez, the things that come out of his mouth ...
Qing Cang - Horcrux Evil Daddy - sorry for the Harry Potter reference.
Zi Lan - Dumb Awesome Paladin - at this rate he'll die a Virgin.
Yan Zi - Naive Do Gooder - why didn't you go after Zi Lan??
Mi Gu - brainless obedient servant - should learn to think for himself.
Fire Qilin - Cute Blameless Animal - awww, poor Qilin. *pet pet*

(No spoilers in this first section of review)I went into this drama with low expectations despite seeing all the positive reviews and comments. I haven't watched much C-Dramas so I wasn't familiar with the cast. When I looked at the cover photo and some of the photos of the drama, I wasn't really impressed and had a feeling I wouldn't like the actors at all.
I went into the first episode and I was interested in the story. I eventually got hooked into the drama and binge-watched it. I know this genre isn't everyone's type. It was my first time watching Xianxia as well and I still liked it. The drama also ended up being an emotional rollercoaster. Had some nice plot twists. I watched the opening and ending scene and through each episode I would start theory crafting. I was usually wrong for the most part and I'm glad I didn't figure everything out despite them spoiling a few scenes in those songs.
For some, the first few episodes may seem uninteresting and slow. But I can assure you, it starts to pick up. The one thing I will say is that the drama does throw you off with some wording/subbing. For example, I went into the drama wondering where the demon tribe is since it was mentioned but they mainly focused on the Ghost Tribe. It took me a few episodes (like 6?) to understand that Ghost Tribe=Demon Tribe. They are supposed to be used interchangeably. I'm not sure if it's a translation error, but it did throw me off at the start of the drama. There were other times where they would call Bai Feng Jiu , Xiao Jiu and it took me time to understand they are same person (same with other characters as well). Also, the time. The timeline they use from the Celestial Palace to mortal realm didn't make sense. It would have been better to just add a small note on bottom of screen (like oh this is blank day of mortal realm = blank day of celestial).
Acting & Characters-
I really liked Yang Mi and Mark Chao's acting. They both did a wonderful job portraying their characters.
Yang Mi did a great job in portraying her 3 characters Si Yin, SuSu, and Bai Qian. Each of them had their own personalities, my favorite being Bai Qian. As for Mark, he really made you love his character by acting out as Ye Hua.
Their chemistry was on point! I was pretty much hungry for their scenes.
As for the antagonists, I would say they aren't exceptional. They may have done a good job in making you pissed at them but their motivations were similar. I did want to see more scenes regarding the other support characters such as Zhe Yan, Bai Zhen, and Mo Yuan. They made a side story drama for Feng Jiu & Dong Hua (with Lian Song + Cheng Yu), but I still wanted to see the rest of the characters in more scenes.
Music- I do have to add Bracing the Chill was my favorite! I usually don't comment on music but this one whenever I watched on a higher volume to hear the music, would always add to the emotional scenes.
Rewatch- I don't think I'll get bored. I already rewatched some of my favorite scenes since I wasn't over the drama. But the entire drama I probably will rewatch in the future.
*SPOILERS BELOW* (A long rant about what bothered me & what was confusing, and then the good stuff)
In the first 10 episodes, we see Si Yin's character and Mo Yuan. I already figured out Mo Yuan had developed some sort of feelings for her because he did whatever he could to protect her. I expected Si Yin to have feelings for him as well, but then unexpectedly she falls for Li Jing. I personally didn't want them to have a relationship because I just didn't like the playboy side of Li Jing and I'm glad they didn't get into a serious relationship. I didn't want to see our female lead become vulnerable to him. And in a way it's a good thing she saw his pathetic self who cannot understand her and decides to cheat without using his head.
I was surprised though that they let Xuan Nu steal the tactical strategy for war. I thought at least Mo Yuan would be smart enough to see through it. They didn't show how she stole it, but I assumed she transformed to Si Yin. It could have fooled the other disciples, but HOW did it get past Mo Yuan? If he was available to see through Bai Qian's transformation, why not this?
Then we don't see Mo Yuan for 70,300 years since his spirit is scattered and we learn he isn't the story's focus. The story's main focus is Ye Hua. We all know that he's from the golden lotus but why does he look like Mo Yuan was a mystery. I always thought it was a spirit of Mo Yuan and that's what needs to be recovered for Mo Yuan to come back alive.
When Bai Qian undergoes a trial in the mortal realm, a red dot appears on her forehead. They never really explained its significance? Why did she get it all of a sudden? Was it to show that her powers sealed? But if that's the case then how come Ye Hua didn't notice it? He didn't question why she has a mark on her forehead or look into it. They made it look so normal. Feng Jiu's plumed cockscomb was explained, but not this. Was having a red dot normally seen as a birthmark? But then in the portrait Ye Hua drew of SuSu, the red dot wasn't drawn. Does that mean it was just something for viewers? If so, why make it a viewer thing when we all clearly know that she lost her memories?
Episodes 19-25, we're introduced to Su Jin creating problems. I was frustrated with the drama with this but held through. I was also angry seeing how SuSu's character was weak and gullible. She fell for the same tricks by Su Jin over again causing her to lose her eyes. But seeing how Ye Hua wasn't the same as Li Jing, made me continue. Ye Hua was truly devoted to her in the mortal world, prepared to sacrifice everything for her. But after being caught, he had to pretend to be cold in order to protect her. Although his method was not the best way, he at least didn't betray her and stayed loyal to her.
Episode 26 and onward gets even more interesting. You finally see Bai Qian's character. Qian is shown to be unafraid and smart. They showed how attentive Ye Hua was to immediately figure out SuSu is Bai Qian (you can see how he really loves her just by picking up every detail of hers). The drama slowly built their relationship again with problems as well, but not the same as before. Bai Qian is much wiser and was able to see through Su Jin's tricks. The drama handled Xuan Nu and Su Jin's case pretty well. When Bai Qian regained her memories and took her eyes back, I was cheering for her. That was something I wanted to see badly. The same applies when Bai Qian showed Xuan Nu's true self and went to battle alone. The plot twist of Ye Hua being the twin brother of Mo Yuan never occurred to me. I was always wondering why they had the same face and even when it was in lotus form it showed his face. But that explained a lot about Ye Hua. The part where Bai Qian is upset with Ye Hua after remembering everything and then she didn't even have the chance to reconcile with him teared me up. They went to battle right away and he dies without them being able to have a talk. The ending did satisfy our hearts seeing them together again which I knew they would find a way to bring him alive from the opening/ending songs. But it was nice that they gave us a brief somewhat believable explanation. They just added a last minute (convenient) detail about how Sea of Innocence can help with recuperation along with the coffin being an artifact. The part where he only used the Heavenly Father's power and not his own spirit was believable.
What I wanted to be more clarified/ and see more of:
-A Li's relationship with Bai Qian. It doesn't look like a typical mother/son relationship which was funny and I was fine since she didn't remember him. But, after Ye Hua's death, Bai Qian was depressed for 3 years but didn't see her son? I get she couldn't see her son that much because he has to study a lot with a new burden on him because of his father's death.
- Zhe Yan and Bai Zhen. These 2 are always together. I wanted more of their bromance.
- Mo Yuan with someone else. I felt so bad because when he came back he finds out the disciple he loves is with his younger twin. And every time she mentioned Ye Hua's name he was a bit hurt. But I'm glad they showed Mo Yuan different and willing to give up and bury his feelings.
- Su Jin's maid receiving punishment. I'm sure she did, but they never showed it. The maid was pretty much an accomplice.
- Season 2 of this with Bai Qian and Ye Hua with the same actors again. While the ending was nice for them kinda wished to see more scenes of them with another plot. No more of their relationship issues. Just keep building their relationship. I felt like their scenes were not enough and wanted more. Gotta see their wedding and everything.
- How was Ye Hua easily able to get his arm movement back?
What I didn't like:
- How the main 2 female antagonists (Su Jin and Xuan Nu) are the same. They both hate Bai Qian being the interest of the man they love. It's like they're showing how women go crazy over the man they love and are willing to do anything.
At least give the other antagonist a different motive.
- Qing Cang is just a threat for a few episodes. He's a threat in the start and all we see is him in the bell mostly and then out for a few minutes till he dies. I feel like he could have been shown to be a better antagonist than the ones above.
- Feng Jiu constantly trying for Dong Hua. I just don't like how the character looked almost desperate. It's nice to show her sincerity, but seeing her get constantly hurt was just sad.
- I found it funny how Su Jin was punished by Ye Hua's grandfather when he knew about her scheme to kill Su Su for him. Yet, the grandfather didn't get punished? Where's the punishment for that? If Dong Hua can get punished by the heavens why not him? YH's grandfather pretty much supported Su Jin's scheme for SuSu.
- The drama is too short actually. They should have made it longer & developed characters better. And more YH & BQ Scenes!

Though many people want to pan the series because it comes from plagiarized works, I don't think that is fair to the production. The script writers made something wonderful out of a mediocre novel, and that should be appreciated for its own merits. This was a beautiful piece of work and I appreciate the time, talents, and hard work of the production team.
