This episode explored the theme of standing up to superior when they were in the wrong. Doji did not want to go home because he was upset that he failed the examination and indulged in wine. Hur June stood up to Doji even though Doji was his superior and forced him to go home.
This episode explored the theme of being a dedicated doctor. Yejin might be a woman but she took dedicated care of Dahee and really looked after her wellbeing. That was what a doctor should be.
