"A-Teen" and "Reply 1988" share several similarities:
1. **Youthful Focus**: Both dramas center around the lives of teenagers and young adults, exploring their friendships, romantic relationships, and personal growth during their formative years.
2. **Nostalgic Elements**: "Reply 1988" is set in the late 1980s and evokes nostalgia for that era, while "A-Teen" captures the everyday experiences of contemporary high school students, creating a sense of nostalgia for the high school years.

"Unforgettable" is set in 90s but shows how main characters are living in modern world. Like "Reply 1988", it's all about childhood friends which lived in a small village, and their first love and dreams.
Also, "Unforgettable" actors are really good. I could say as good as "Reply 1988". And, of course, in both you could hear old times music. Don't know about you, but I really love listening to korean music from 70s to 90s.

While the premises are very different, the feel of it was similar.
You have the "life back then" aspect of it; you get to experience how life was back in 1998 in Taiwan. You also have the family and friend aspect of it; you get to see the friendships developing and turning into more, as well as the relationship with the family improving. As well as the heartfelt feelings between the leads, the patience and the love.
That being said, 1988 is purely a "slice of life" drama vs. Someday also has a time travel element, as well as a murder mystery added to it.
Both of these dramas are excellent, and highly recommended.

All of the Reply series and You Are the Apple of My Eye have that certain nostalgic factor; they're all beautiful, hilarious, clever, coming-of-age stories. You can't help but grow attached to the cast as you experience several moments with them--from their school years, to their first heart breaks, all the way up until they're finally adults and working their butts off. These stories both have a slight melancholic feel, precisely because of how eerily relatable and realistic the challenges they face seem to be.
I think if you enjoyed watching Reply 1988, you'll especially love You Are the Apple of My Eye and the similar message that it tries to convey. I think You Are the Apply of My Eye is just slightly more light-hearted and has a more crude humor

They both have comedic values in them and it involves the story and the budding romance between two childhood friends. It also portrays the process of how the childhood friends grow from not-too-successful to successful in their career paths. The similiarity between the girl main character is seen as they are both strong and rash. Although reply 1988 focuses on family values more than romantic relationships, Fight For My Way also presents the moral of family in throughout the drama. There are many other similarities between these two dramas.
In both dramas, family and friends are the sole focus here. Don't be put off with What Happens to My Family's number of episodes (there's only 53 one hour each). WHTMF will make you laugh, cry, smile, and value the importance of family just like Reply 1988. Like Reply 1988, the romance for WHTMF is well balanced out and not the sole focus. Only difference is that 1988 has the husband hunt while WHTMF doesn't. I highly recommend both if you're interested in one or the other. Actually, please do watch both, you won't regret it :D
Both of them are a slice-of-life kind of dramas. Age of youth focuses on 5 girls and college life, whereas Reply 1988 focuses on the children growing up (and experiencing their first love) as well as the family members. Both are slow paced, and detail orientated. It is definitely the smallest things that touch you the most. The music is also subtle and fitting. Characters in both shows have a lot of depth and show a lot of character growth.
Many life lessons to learn in both.
Overall the pace, genre, direction/cinematography (revealing details a bit at a time), music and feel of the two shows are similar.
